One of the biggest festival in India is already here and we can't wait to share it with a good news from our side.
Yes, Pooja is pregnant and expecting a baby in few months from now.
A day in the life of pregnant woman.
On the occasion of Holi Pooja wanted to prepare a traditional dish called Malvani Malpua and Thandai. She collected fresh milk from one of our neighbour and returned home. First she prepared breakfast for us that was sweet poha. We had our breakfast and started doing our daily chores.
Pooja started preparing for thandai and Malpua, first she soaked the dry fruits and spices for the thandai and kept it aside.
Then she started preparing for Malpua, she wanted to prepare the malpua without khoya, it was made with wheat flour, jaggery and some spices.
Malvani Malpua is a traditionally made sweet dish.
Once the Malpua was ready she ground the soaked dry fruits and spices and mixed it with milk, rose petals jam etc.
We both enjoyed these Holi special recipes in the evening.
