In this street in Qissa Khwani Bazar. You'll get charghas upon charghas here. Fried chicken, chapli kabab, charghas, steamed roast. You'll get it all here. I saw a caravan-siraye in Azerbaijan too. Qissa Khwani was the same way. With shops on all four sides. And this space you're seeing in the middle. People would sit here and have q
ahvas. And would tell and hear stories. Assalam-u-alaikum, I am Zia Tabarak. And I am in Islamabad. Today I'm going to Peshawar from Islamabad. I've had a lot of Peshawar's food. And have shown it to you too. But the iftar and sehri scene in Peshawar. Today I'll explore that. See it for myself and show it to you too. So let's go to Peshawar! I have reached Peshawar. And you're seeing Chowk Yaadgaar behind me. This is an awesome and a very old area. Chowk Yaadgaar has its own history. I have made
my vlogs here as well. The vibe is great here in Ramzan. And if you go in from that street there. You'll reach the Clocktower (Ghanta Ghar). Let's see what's up around Chowk Yaadgaar. And then go to the Clocktower. How are you? Samosas? Raw samosas and rolls. Iftari stuff. Yes. The vibe here is very different. Let's go towards the Clocktower. How are you? What is this? Eggs. Red eggs? Is it cooked or raw? Cooked. So you've colored it? It's boiled? Oh to beautify it? It'll be white on the inside
right. Right, how much for it? 40. Wow. Peshawar's delicacy kachalu here. There are some carts around the Chowk. Chaat and such is selling here. Let's go towards the Clocktower. Salam, how are you? What do you have here? Kabab, chicken, cholay and aalu kofta. Aalu kofta, macaroni. Steamed chicken, dam pukht style. Chicken ice cream sandwich, gola kabab. Cutlets, eggs. Sweet rice. Full-on iftari vibe. Alhamdulillah. Masha'Allah. Chapli kababs too. Peshawar: The city of flowers. Peshawar's heart:
Raiti Bazar. And Raiti's symbol is Faizan and Jameel Chaska Centre. Do come once and try it! Wow. Masha'Allah, Jameel and Faizan. Wow. Father and son Masha'Allah. What should I get from you? Have iftari with us! No no no, just one or two things. Don't give me too much. How much? No, don't put your hand in your pocket. You're my guest! Oh no man! Come on!? Take this? Aw man? Peshawar's hospitality is on a different level. How are you? What is this? Plums. Is it an iftar item? Yes. This is a spec
ial item of Peshawar. Plum jam and apricot jam. For how much? Plums are 250 for 250 grams. And the other one is 200 for 250 grams. This one. The sweet one. I'm gathering some stuff for iftar too. As there isn't much time to iftar. So I'm getting some things. What is this? Tomato chutney. Just chutney? Yes, all that you're seeing here goes in it. Tomato's special chutney! Is this a stall for chutney only? Yes it is. How much for a packet? 50. Wow. Mint, pepper, coriander and plums. Ginger, garlic
, these spices, salt. All of that is in this chutney. For just 50. You see these new items when you come to Peshawar. Chutneys, jams, those sandwiches from that place. Cutlets, nice. I'm your subscriber. Thank you. I watch your videos. Thank you thank you. Chutney's here, we have Adeel with us too. The Clocktower is right there. And you can see that the Sun is setting. Only some sunshine is left. And this crowd! What a vibe of Clocktower Roundabout! Peshawaris eat fruit and drink fresh juices a
lot. Strawberry cart. What do we have at Shahji Hotel? Cheese, salam. People are buying cheese. Gotta have cheese in iftar. With chai. With chai or roti. Eat it however you like. Fresh cheese, looks like bricks. And what do we have here? Kachalu. How much for kheer? 480/kilo. What about 250 grams? 120. GIve me half a kilo. And small spoons too. We got kheer too. Keep gathering stuff, the fast will soon break! Do you have qulfi after iftar? Qulfi after iftar. We're at the Clocktower. If you haven
't watched my video on the Clocktower. Then you can watch it. As I have made them in great detail. This is a very big market. And you can get raw and cooked fish here. Anda chanay. Kofta anda chana. Right underneath the tower. How are you? I was looking for pakoray. As iftar is incomplete without them. So this street beside the tower. Where Chacha Fish is also located. Pakoras too are made here. The people told me about it. Where are pakoras sold? Turn right in that street, those are pretty famo
us. That's the tower, and this street goes in from here. Antique door as you can see. In here is some famous pakora seller. Here it is. Salam. How are you? How much for pakoras? 600/kilo. Samosas and rolls, how old is this place? 40 years old. What is this? Sweet samosa? Wow? This is a unique item I'm seeing. Sweet samosa, pakoras obviously. Eggplant and cabbage ones. 250 grams of pakoras and 3 samosas. 3 of these samosas and 3 of these. Mix the pakoras. These warm ones, potato ones. Pakoras sam
osas are here. Gotta try the sweet samosa. How are you? Recognize me? I had your fish. How are you? Fish in iftar too? Nice. Famous Old Dahi Bhallay. How are ya? Nice, dahi bhallay here. He's got no time to talk, a lot of people are here. Paprri, dahi bhallay and chutneys here. How much for dahi bhallay? 150. Make some sweet ones for me. Sweet. Are these mine? Yes. Nice, a lot of quantity for 150. Thank you. These pakoras are also famous. I have had them before. This is an old pakora shop. Salam
, kabab karhai? Kabab karhai here. Salam, what is this? Ribs. They look very spicy. Are these to be sold before or after iftar? Both. How much for one rib? 1600/kilo. And 250 grams? No 250, half a kilo for 800. Underneath an old house. Pakoras, karhai and ribs are being sold. We've ordered ribs and have got our setup done. We'll set up our stuff here. And have iftar. Salam, give me 3 malta's juices. For how much? This looks like grapefruit? I need the sweet one, are you mixing them? How much for
one juice? 230. Which one is mine? Make the 200 one for me. This store too is below a very old house. Look, and in front of it are pakoras, karhai and ribs. That is our table. And there's the Clocktower. Nice. Tight, here, take these 600. Preparations are all done for iftar. Alright. Adeel, we have more juices too. Dahi baray, special tomato chutney. Plum jam, kheer, sandwich, cutlets, sweet samosa. Salted samosa, pakoras and juice. And ribs are here too. Masha'Allah amazing iftar scenes. Let's
pray and have iftar. Alhamdulillah the fast is broken. Got some freshness, Alhamdulillah. Plum jam with a lot of dry fruits in it. These are some things you'll see only in Peshawar. Like kachalu, which I have had before. But plums, tomato chutney, ribs and kheer. All of these are tight, bismillah. Wow. This is very nutritious. Pure, without any extra ingredients. Jam. Levelled-up with the dry fruits. Almonds, plum seeds and khopra. Aalu pakora of the famous pakora shop. Which I'll have with thi
s tomato chutney. This chutney had many ingredients. It's so special that the seller was selling only this. Look. Wow. Chutney's nice, it's not spicy. And all its ingredients are very healthy. Pure, chutney's good. We've had many salted samosas. But this is a sweet samosa. With molasses on it, the paprri has become a bit soggy. It's just paprri, with molasses. It's good to try. Dahi baray. It's a whole chaat, because I can see cholay and aalu in it. And dahi baray. Mixex chaat for 150 in good qu
antity. The jam is still on #1. And the chutney. With pakoras. Jameel and Faizan gave this sandwich. What's inside of it? Chicken and a nice masala. Nice and nutritious. With mayo and the bread is fried. Nice taste. Potato cutlets. With chutney, this chutney is the king. Faizan and Jameel, the father and son we saw in the start. Their food is good man. Ribs are here with warm naan. Half a kilo ribs for 800. Cut into pieces. With a lot of masala. Has a great texture after being cooked. It looked
like the ribs made in Multan. It looks the same way. Let's check the taste. Nice. They've used a lot of masala in it. Thin slices, well-cooked meat. Served with warm naan at this time. Love it. But the culture here to me seems like... People take iftar with them at home. As the whole market is silent. And my voice is echoing here. Some people are eating in the shops here. I think it's more lively in Ghazar and Qissa Khwani. Which I'll explore some day Insha'Allah. But I loved this iftar. We've p
rayed, Alhamdulillah. The masjid is right in front of where we ate. The architecture tells that it too is very old. For as long as you don't have chai after iftar. You don't feel at peace. And if you're in Peahawar. Then the old qahva shops of Qissa Khwani Bazar. Having chai there is something else. We'll go there and have chai. We're at Qissa Khwani Bazar. You'll see many charghas in this street. Fried chicken, charghas, chapli kabab, steamed roast. You'll get it all here. Up ahead is Shah Wali
Qatal Mohalla. Where those qahva shops are. I've heard that it is closed in Ramzan. We'll see if it is closed. And if it is closed, we'll have chai elsewhere. There's a narrow street beside Lahori Sweets. This is Shah Wali Qatal Mohalla. Where those old qahva shops are, which seem closed. Yeah, it's closed. This is a tea shop. Since I'm here, I might as well tell the history behind this place. When I went to Azerbaijan. I saw "caravan-siraye" there. A caravan-siraye was when trading convoys wou
ld come and go. They would stay in those places. Qissa Khwani Bazar is the same way. Because when these convoys would come and go. As the Afghan border is close. And this was in the old times. The caravan-siraye that I saw in Azerbaijan. Qissa Khwani was the same way. With shops on all four sides. And in this empty space is where people would sit. They'd have qahvas and tell each other stories (qissa). This is why this market is named Qissa Khwani Bazar. This tea shop is closed in Ramzan. I came
here a long time ago. And met some cousins of Shahrukh Khan. That video is also on my channel. Which you can watch. When I come here again Insha'Allah. Then I'll taste the chai. Let's go somewhere else for chai. Salam, how are you? Do you have strong doodh patti chai? Yes. Give me that man. You don't feel satisfied without chai after fasting. You don't speak much Urdu! Well at least you understand some of it. They have strong doodh patti right? Why not, this is a tea shop! Tight. How are you? G
reat by Allah's Grace. He has subscribed to the channel, right? Here, he has subscribed. But you're not subscribing. You watch the videos but don't subscribe. Press that button and the bell. So I can get more subscribers and views! Chai is here. Very good-looking chai. And it's delicious too. If you don't feel good after having chai after iftar. Then do lemme know in the comments. Because for as long as I don't get chai. My mind stays slow. And just one sip lights it up. Right? With this, I'll e
nd this video. Hope you liked today's video. Do subscribe to the channel. And like and share the video. Remember me in your prayers. Ramzan is still going on. So the videos will keep coming this way. So keep the support coming. See you Insha'Allah in the next episode. Take care, Allah Hafiz.
