I think this should be a common ground for both Democrats and Republicans. Democrats are doing a bad thing by taking the trans issue too far. Trans should be understood and protected against some discrimination, but allowing them to compete in spaces where they have a physical advantage is not the way to do it.

Trans people do not have the same abilities as either the gender they come from or the gender they go to. Studies show (sorry, they won't let me post a link) that the performance differences depend very much on the sport.They should have their own sports division.
