Man dies after shot in Miami-Dade public bus

elling us what happened they're Al telling us that the driver of the bus is the real hero here because he was able to get everyone inside out quickly before things got worse and anyone else got hurt the homicide scene is the bus the body you see beside the bus set to be a man in his 20s shot inside this Miami Transit bus just before 11: this morning the bus was going northbound on the busway it was approaching the stop on 328th Street had a total of about 10 passengers inside the bus at the time

there was some type of an argument that uh that came about in the rear of the bus amongst two individuals that argument investigators say turned into a fight at this point the bus driver opened the doors told everyone to get out while the melee continued one guy whips out a gun shoots the other guy hitting him multiple times subject then fled the scene on foot the Florida City Police Department later um advised that the subject had come into the the police station and surrendered himself tonigh

t detectives thanking the bus driver who they say likely saved others on board after opening the doors and urging passengers to get out if shots would have rang out and that bus would have still been full of passengers who knows who could have been hit by a straight bullet and clearly be an innocent victim we know the bus has cameras and detectives are carefully analyzing the video that gives us that opportunity to be able to see exactly how things unfolded and who did what all right so back liv
