undress he is about to shoot him when his clone fights back they toss a gun but someone gets shot
and we don't know who lives is it the Clone or the real one let's find out in the year 2048 sunlight
has become so toxic that human beings can no longer leave their houses during the day only at
night when the sun doesn't shine day became night and night
became day clones have been created with

the families they left behind and to alleviate the worldwide issue of underpopulation virtual
reality has also become prominent every day every time everyone uses virtual reality for either work

home he actually goes to the office and attends meetings in the meeting rooms while his colleagues

failing he was worried not only for himself but also for the family he

differences while Reena thinks they should just do everything virtually like everyone else does
Adam thinks there are still some things that they have to live through in the world seeing that
her patient is troubled Dr Reese books Adam a meeting with a therapist during a meeting Adam
is alone at the office as he argues with his colleagues through virtual reality their business
was successful in manufacturing virtual reality headsets but Adam believes that their company
is
now going under because of the arrival of a new chip while their company is still stuck in VR he
explains that they need to stop investing in VR Tech and focus all their resources and energy into
the development of a new modern technology to get ahead of the market but no one listened to Adam
who desperately wanted to save the company from going bankrupt knowing that if it failed his
family would be left without any support and the future of his three children might be put at
risk Adam
went to meet with Dr Maple the Clone therapist Dr Reese booked for him Dr Maple noticed
that Adam seemed to be frustrated and asked him what was causing it Adam complains that while
he prefers to live through the world and leave for work even during the day time he is still
uncomfortable meeting only clones outside Dr Maple states that they clones are not robots and they're
biologically reconstructed so she is curious what Adam has against clones Adam answers that clones
are indeed amazing
they are very receptive but something is still missing he explains that
he sees reason and wisdom in the Clones eyes but there is no instinct or compassion and their
thoughts are predestined humans like Adam cannot emotionally connect to computer like clones a
flashback showed what really caused his separation from his estranged wife he just got home from
work and checked on his children only to find them too deep in the virtual world he looked for
Reena and found that just like his childr
en Reena also had a VR headset on Adam was disappointed
to see his family stuck in the virtual world and decided to LED out his frustration by copulating
with an avatar body Reena discovered his husband's relationship with a virtual woman named Maria and
was disgusted especially since Adam was doing the dirty inside their room in the house where their
children are Adam tried to justify his actions by saying that their children were too busy in the
virtual world to even hear what he was doin
g he claimed that his children and wife are too busy in
the virtual world for them to be an actual family that interacts with each other Reena tells him
that the virtual world that Adam hated so much is her and their Children's Way of bonding Reena
opened up about how Adam is so desperate to become a better version of himself that he forgets
there is nothing exceptional about him he is just average like most people and he should stay
average like she wants him to be Adam apologized telling
Reena that he was just so unhappy and
disconnected from the world that is now exploited by the virtual world Reena told him he could have
been better if he just took lithium X and spent the night connecting with his family or actual
people who go out only at night after discovering her husband's Affair Reena told their children
that they were break up she kicked Adam out of their house as she comforted their children back
in the present Adam visited Reena to talk to her and also see his chi
ldren despite the restraining
order Reena filed against him he told Reena about their situation he expressed his worry for his
family's future after his death but Reena seemed to have lost all her care for her husband she
advised him to take his lithium X to cope with his mental issues like everybody else in this
dystopian world and demanded he find a solution on his own so he at least Wouldn't Die a loser
the next day Adam used virtual reality to search for a man named Donald Stein then Ad
am went on a
virtual Beach date with Maria who despite seeming so expressive and so in love with Adam still
sounds like a robot a constant reminder that she is not real Adam was abruptly brought out of
his virtual date by Donald Stein who has a gun pointed at him demanding the reason why Adam is
searching for him Adam believes that Adam is the one who invented premium 3 and Chip which Sparks
curiosity in Donald who wants to know how Adam came to think of such an idea Adam remembered when

e and Reena were still full of love they received premium 3 and that's when Adam learned that
premium 3 had been designed and spearheaded by the state's Chief genetic engineer whom Adam knew
to be Donald Stein Dennis Ryan the state Ryan who gave them their premium three explained that the
premium three has a little bit of leeway Whoever has a premium 3 can tailor their insurance
spouse into the perfect husband or wife the bereaved spouse wanted them to be this didn't sit
right with Adam who
didn't like the idea of their clones being tailored Dennis explained that their

observant Adam is and finally admitted that he indeed created premium 3 and Chip Adam learned
that Donald had a virtual lover too and he told h
im about his life and family issues Donald
believes that Adam didn't look for him to give him chip but to engineer him a new heart or fix
his failing heart Donald can easily do it and once he hears it Adam finally admits that he does feel
pain in his heart and he is confused as to why it feels like he is the only one who feels that way
Donald explains that the pain Adam was feeling is not because of a failing heart but because
of a lack of connection and because he is the only one who's sti
ll free from lithium X everyone
is hooked on lithium X and it takes all the pain away making everyone think that everything is okay
just the way they are but love can't exist without pain and Adam felt love for Maria Donald reveals
that he too felt pain due to a lack of connection and created a clone of his virtual lover which is
why he was ousted by the state Donald then offered to create Maria for Adam so he could finally feel
love and M his failing heart after Donald's visit Adam realize
d that Donald left his gun and hid
it in the cabinet filled with lithium X the next day he decided to go on sick leave and he was
out of it the whole day later that night Reena visited him to inform him about her friend's
husband who knows a way to unlock premium 3 without anyone dying for real that so-called way
is just virtually faking Adam's death so they can cheat the insurance company Adam's clone would be
shipped and his company would be saved once the Clone arrived because the Clone
would be so much
better than the human atom Reena revealed that she made his replacement a better listener calmer and
content with what he's got most especially clones don't have to take lithium X because they are
permanently mentally stable as for the human Adam Reena told him she didn't care what he wanted to
do once the Clone arrived because the Clone would take his position in their family and he would
soon die anyway Adam refused hurt by his wife's words and Reena chastised him for not
taking
Lithium X which turned him into such a mentally unstable miserable loser defeated Adam relented
and Reena told him he didn't have anything to do anymore because he already informed Tech broker
the company Adam is working at that he overdosed so he's technically dead now her friend's
husband had already created a new identity for Adam since he no longer had access to his old
one Adam was dumbfounded not only did Reena kill him off she also took away his rights to see his
children ta
lk to his mother and even meet up with Maria who now belongs to his clone Reena brashley
apologized promising not to delete Maria's Avatar so she could still remain in Virtual existence
unlike Adam whose new name is Richard Burbage Reena left his house and Adam followed only to
witness the demise of his wife police and Medics arrived Reena died on impact and a police officer
approached Adam Adam confirmed that the victim is his wife and he is Adam bird not Richard Burbage
the officer congra
tulated Adam for having premium 3 because that means he can just forget that his
human wife died and a second version of Reena would be delivered to his house Adam was clearly
traumatized by the recent events and the officer mistook it as Adam just being schmuck who didn't
care about his wife dying and his children who are in his wife's home Adam went back inside and used
VR to meet Maria for Comfort but he was logged out with AI telling him to go see a therapist and
Adam was sick in his st
omach Adam was shocked when he heard the doorbell ringing and saw a clone
of Maria he was astonished by the sight of Maria and was upset when he learned Donald had touched
Maria inappropriately with the excuse of testing and liberating Maria while Maria was taking a
shower Adam rummaged through her bag and found a white shiny pill when he asked Maria about it
the latter explained that it was Donald's gift to him the pill is called Eternal one an abandoned
program that was designed to downlo
ad the brains of the soon to be deceased so their relatives can
meet them later in the realm talking to Maria made Adam realize that she is so unlike Maria in The
Realm of the virtual world after their talk Maria prepar to leave and when Adam asked her where
she's going Maria reminded him that when she was still in the realm Adam allowed her to have her
own choice and now she's choosing to find real love somewhere else because she doesn't really
love Adam and then it's official Adam has los
t his mind he danced with Maria's Avatar's body and
stabbed it with a knife he sat against the wall and remembered his meeting with Dr Mabel when he
asked her to prove to him that a clone like her could feel human pain Adam had watched Dr Maple
slit her own wrist and see the blood oozing out of the cut someone was by the door and when Adam
checked he found his clone clone Adam is confident and Brash unlike the real Adam real Adam asked
clone Adam to take his clothes off real Adam expressed
his anger for Reena Maria Adam premium
3 chip and the world clone Adam reminded real Adam of their favorite play and real Adam reminisced
about it only to grow crazier clone Adam advised him to continue living as Richard Burbage and
real Adam refused as he is not Richard Burbage he is Adam bird but now that there is a cloned
Adam the real Adam is having an identity crisis he doesn't know who or what he is supposed to be
clone Adam follows as real Adam runs around like a crazy person only st
aying away when real Adam
thinks of killing his clone as there should be only one Adam Bird clone Adam talks to real Adam
telling him that what he needs is to take lithium X clone Adam pours a bunch of lithium X pills
into a glass and pours some drink into it before handing the glass to real adom but real Adam knows
what the Clone is planning and has tried to shoot him clone Adam fought back and the two atams keep
on moving around circling each other it's hard to know who's real and who's n
ot they accidentally
threw the gun and it fired shooting Adam in the head the remaining Adam buried the dead Adam
then returned home to welcome clone Reena the two exchanged a kiss and Adam proposed an idea
to overdose their children with lithium and clone them Reena was happy with the idea of being
the first family of clones and they exchanged another kiss in the last scene the camera spanned
around and zoomed towards the pill Eternal one
