ing veterinarian resigning my ability
to practice resigning from the veteran College in 2011 based on a bunch of things that's happened
primarily this big long investigation uh claiming that I breached a whole array of bylaws and code
of ethics because I talking about this alternative veteran medicine and teaching pet parents like
yourself yeah it's pretty hard time especially when you're all of a sudden lose all that income
that you had I would say that things yeah they were a little bit d
ifficult then and when I did
resign and there was a lot of people that weren't super supportive of me as you can imagine for 17
years until he quit the industry after a dispute with his medical board over marketing issues
he's now revealing what he calls veteran Ary Secrets online as a young veterinarian in British
Columbia working at a clinic Jones says he got an early lesson about upselling after telling a
pet owner just to monitor a lump on their dog and yeah that really wasn't well rece
ived in
the veter community literally we had thousands and thousands of negative emails for the most
part I'll directed in me shortly after that I started publishing regular videos on YouTube you
know starting out with how to express your dog's anal glands at home that video there's my dog
Lewis none too happy but he was super Cooperative he's an awesome dog for video and yeah a lot of
people liked it and since that time there's been well over 1,000 videos covering virtually every
