The video introduces students to several common  wave behaviors. For each type of wave behavior, we give a working definition and key vocabulary.  Where possible, we use common experiences so students may recognize these phenomena and  begin to understand them from a scientific perspective. The purpose of this video is to  give students a broad overview of these wave behaviors. This video is the first in a short  series in which we'll go into greater detail for each of these wave behaviors. We r
ecommend  that students students view the video the evening before you present the material in  class. That way, they'll already be familiar with key concepts and vocabulary. Students May  pause the video to read summary slides if they wish. The video's free engagement worksheet  is available in many formats including paper as well as digital ones such as Google Forms  and Canvas. Digital formats let you quickly identify common errors and they may automatically  enter individual scores into your
gradebooks.
