Highlands Ranch is one of the worst cities in this state for pedestrian safety. Its roads are built for urban sprawl, speeding, street racing, and reckless driving. Something needs to change in the way we plan our cities and the way some of our drivers behave

Can you please tell the people to stop at school bus stop signs

@10shotta

I knew Alex (the 13 yo in this vid) not well but i knew him he died crossing the road on this one wheel this van went past the speed limit and because of sun glare he could not see and he ran a red light and hit Alex 50 feet forward from this impact. I only hope that he is in a better place now. Fly high Alex

First, they are still investigating. Second, what would you suggest? People not be allowed to cross roads, or vehicles be prohibited to enter the miles long subdivision? Highlands Ranch is a beautiful family oriented neighborhood and extremely well planned and thought out. This young man's passing is indeed tragic and untimely. My heart goes out to his family, friends, teammates, and his community. The heartbreak, the loss, is unimagineable. Bashing everything, your subdivision, will not bring him back, nor heal anyone. May God hold each of you in His fold. ❤
