appy to be coming out you know in the black and um yeah getting ready for Cota we had Chris from the flag hunting pot on this week and he was actually at Bristol gave us a rundown of how that was like and uh we got squared away for this weekend so interested to hear what everybody's got to say about uh bets this week I'm kind of coming in little lean but I'm anxious to uh talk through some of these bets so looking forward to it boys I'm looking forward to it it's going to be a lot of fun hearing

h I thought I was going to be able to watch the race Sunday uh travel plans did not allow for it however I am am I've been upset for about three days now uh that I did not get to watch that race I watched the highlights you know I did the deal I I watched it here and there uh but we miraculously cashed we had a brad K top 10 ticket that I was seeing floating around all over Twitter a pop up pop up in hard rock I'm like I like Brad rfk's been good at Bristol obviously from a gambling aspect it ap
pears probably not the best race to gamble on but uh looked like a bunch of fun to watch and and drive some of those videos of Brisco and lson busher just on new tires so [ __ ] cool so yeah I'm ready to turn yeah I watched all those replays I haven't watched the race yet but uh I'm ready turn left and right no I have not watched the race it's an amazing thing for sure if you you can go back and watch that it is uh was an amazing race so we'll we'll have to uh talk about how break it all down a
little bit uh I want to turn to Ryan Stevens isn't here this week so we got the next best thing Greg murn Greg is the director of sports betting content at win the race weekly Nascar Cup Series best bet at Daily downforce Greg you're not new to the show whatsoever you were on with us a few weeks ago you've joined us before how are you doing uh doing great yeah I mean uh you know it's funny Ryan and I uh recorded we we each recorded the uh the race we we spent our days doing some family stuff and
then we watched it uh we got together in the evening and you know we watching and chatting as you know we went and uh yeah it was that was an amazing race yeah not not so great from a betting standpoint for us uh we definitely uh we got uh got a little bit beat up um we were kind of hanging on hoping on Barry there at the end and then he just kind of started started dropping but uh great race um and uh we we certainly learned a lot about what uh we might expect at Bristol come the fall well I t
hink so too and and you know it let's just be honest it was a race that nobody really expected to see the drivers didn't know what to expect going in they might have had an idea so anybody that touted any type of picks whatsoever was kind of out the window when you knew wait this guy for for instance I was I was fading Gibbs across the board Gibbs was the fastest driver because he was the one complaining about his car all day Saturday so they found something they found a lot of speed uh it was a
n interesting thing it it was fun as a fan to watch it it was not fun as a gambler I put that if I could put my bias aside it was a great race I want to welcome on our next guest here tonight and a guy that is joining us uh numerous times now and I'm really excited to have him on uh he is the host of Dale Center you can find him streaming late nights on Kick uh he puts his Best Bets on the Action Network and has a brand new show by the da downforce I'm gonna let him share that so Dale thank you

e tire strategy that that hurt us in qualifying and in the race too but uh like Skybox you know I had a little bit on on Brad Kay that made my race day not too bad it salvaged it with a top five and a top 10 bet but overall it was tough it was tough and uh your announcement that you kind of teased there yeah we just started a new truck podcast pick up Throwdown podcasts via the daily downforce this is a really cool project they've had in the works for a while uh and I'm joined by two awesome guy

opportunity to share uh and Phil I'm gonna start with you okay so better finish on Sunday Austin syndric or AJ almond Dinger oh man so my take on AJ is he's Checkers are recers he's trophy hunting um so unless you think he's going to win the race I'll take Austin sendrick okay so you like cnri Mark I'm going to go to you next which Nascar race venue whatever one you want to do is comparable to the PLAYERS Championship that you were just at well I mean I'd be remiss if I didn't say the Dayton of
500 I mean it's an hour and 20 minutes south uh I will they expect like 150,000 patri throughout the four days um I think Daytona can hold like I don't know 110 maybe I know it's over 100 so I mean you know little high class little Florida baby little mommies and some sundresses you know I feel like we can get both of those the players Daytona okay I like that especially the last part there good good call with that uh Greg i'm GNA throw this over to you favorite metric you found heading in Dakot
a this weekend uh I'm looking at uh adjusted a running position so uh a running position weighted by how much of each weight of race is you've completed um if you're up front you're up front and uh you know we've seen passing B is you know tricky so uh you know track position matters I like that I might put that on a shirt if you're up front you're up front uh I like that now Dale I'm going to throw the next one over to you and before I say this nobody had any idea what these questions are so uh
you were not ill prepared if you thought what I did not see these so Dale my question to you is TRD has dominated each of the last two weeks does the same Trend continue at Kota this weekend well it's very possible Tyler reic who's the only repeat winner at a road course yeah since the beginning of the Gen 7even era and you got to consider that Joe Gibbs Racing found something in the ability to gather track position with blazing hot qualifying laps sometime in the middle of last year I think it
was somoma and they kept it through the the rest of the season and qualifying really well and that you know as Greg said you're up front you're up front tough to pass NASCAR is very stubborn on the package and not uh adding anything that enables legitimate uh ability to make your way through the field without chaos to happen so yeah I think it's a huge possibility with Tyler Ric's skill uh I think Ty Gibbs you just you gotta watch out that's a guy a kid that is primed to get that first win we'v
e been betting on him like just nonstop uh like Bristol last week and he just continues to run up in the top five he leads laps he's running top three and he's got road course winning experience in NASCAR so Ty Gibbs is a guy that could that could do it as well outside of those two um I don't know I don't know if I like the chances of a Denny Hamlin or a TR X or even a Christopher Bell maybe at this racetrack just because they haven't gotten the results like Ric has uh but you know I don't know
it's going to be fun to see but I guess to sum up your question yes it is very possible they win again primarily due to Tyler redit I think we we might be seeing that as well uh especially with the emergence of Gibbs as well uh Phil I'm going to throw it over to you Dale said Tyler reck I I want to start with him reck mtj SVG McDow Byron and AJ oming are all won last year now you get those guys or you taking the field holy [ __ ] um yeah I'll take I'll take those guys uh take those because of re
ic um you know SVG is complete mystery to me I'm I don't want to put too much stock in him but uh yeah I mean mostly because of reic if you're telling me I get reic and five other well established road course Racers I'll take that all winers from last year you know I don't know what your odds are but you know I'm into it okay so you so you like that side you think maybe the winner this weekend comes from that group uh there possibly Mark I'm going to throw a back over to you better finish on Sun
day and we're going to stay with the TRD conversation Ty Gibbs Denny Hamlin better finish on Sunday according to the books it's Ty Gibbs um but the kid the kid like what Dale was saying the kids the kids wheeling and dealing I know this was a road course first one of the season but even last year I mean I'm looking at five of the seven nldd speeds in the top 10 um and average finish he's third from last year so Denny Hamlin what what's he going to bring you know is it going to be this awful toy
road course package at the beginning of last year that everyone had except for reic miraculously and then they finally caught on um but nothing really stands out at as Denny Hamin except for what a second place at Watkins Glenn last year so I'm gonna take the young cat looked good at somoma uh looked good at Kota last year I mean k the race oh also also first time first Tai Gibbs race ever uh 2021 Daytona road course I had the largest wager of my life up until that point fading him I'm like this
kid's not coming in on a road course and win it no shot well he won the race so uh kid can wheel left and right guess what I did the same thing so um I I know what you mean there I know I know those those hurt us we remember our losses more than we remember our wins I feel like all right Greg I'm going to throw the next one to you forgive me for the pronunciation here but I'm gonna try uh camui kobashi is priced ahead of guys like blay Lano and Brisco is he priced correctly heading into the wee
kend um sure but I mean none of them should be priced where they are if we're being realistic I I mean I think when we look at this we we know where the front guys are right all right sure as we talked about you know it's it's reic it's it's G it's I mean I'm going to I'm going to say Bell Truex and Hamlin all have a little bit there too right so you've got you know your top tier Toyota guys you got your top tier Chevy guys and then I mean out in in the Ford Camp are you scared of anyone other t
han McDow and busher like I mean really are you so no I mean I just I think everybody outside of those guys is pretty much priced wrong I think you know the top of the field is is we know where they are I don't think we see a surprise winner here or anything um so sure I mean are they Priced Right yeah I I I guess they're price right and as much as they're all too you know all too short right now okay all right well that makes sense because he was priced ahead of them and those were names that j
umped off to me like a little interesting to see okay you're ahead of them so I thought I'll ask you that Dale I'm going to throw the next one to you let's go to the truck series here is there one driver that you have your eye on the most heading into it's tough when you when the cup regulars enter these races especially at the road courses it just it feels like it ruins everything you know it's like it's like kind of the Kyle bus effect on some of the mile and a halfs that he'll come up and dom
inate on it feels like it just puts your mind in a pretzel as Cy notton Jr famously said and that's what it does to me because I can't ever get Kyle bus right uh on those you know on the ovals at a Bristol uh and then we get to the road courses and you know I had Zan Smith outright in 2022 completely faded him in 2023 and he won both of them so it's complicated but I think Ross chassin is going to dog walk the field I really do do I hate two to one do I hate two and a half to one absolutely but
the deal is here that Ross Chastain doesn't have the competition from the cup regulars that he's had last year and the full field that we had in 2021 in the truck series as well which or 2022 I should say CH didn't run 2022 in the trucks but uh it's there's been more dominant cup guys and cup talent that has run this in the prior three years and we really don't have that uh everybody's talking about Conor zillich he's a guy that everyone's gonna be looking out for you know I'm not I don't think
I'm willing to bet 10 to one on a guy making his debut on a tough road course at the age of 17 even though he has world class experience and he's in a very very fast truck I think I'm willing to wait and see what happens in practice of qualifying but my first hunch off the bat which I hate betting favorites but I do think Ross Chastain with the speed that he's shown here whether it's been cup or truck uh in 2023 I think he is going to dominate this race yeah okay yeah that's uh interesting there
that gives me Phil it gives you you and I a lot to talk about here uh in the truck po afterwards so I like where your head's at there dale uh Phil I'm going to go to you next uh favorite March Madness play it is March Madness week what's your favorite play this week for the people give them a winner yeah I'm gonna give you a winner uh 650 tomorrow night Colorado State taking on Texas horns down baby down [ __ ] that [ __ ] um Colorado State 2 and 0 against top 25 teams this season Texas three a
nd eight uh Colorado State 13th I believe in strength of schedule this year Texas uh 33rd this is a 107 matchup I mean seven seeds are just shaking in their boots baby so kado State getting that extra game um I I think this is GNA be you know you could take the plus two and a half but uh they're going to win this game okay okay somebody is going to clip that for sure Dale was the only one as you were looking down Dale we all did horns down so everybody's going to be like oh Dale knew yeah tax go
nna win the game day the game day yeah he saw it all right moders in has actually done something worth the dam Mississippi state is in the tournament they never do anything well outside of baseball and I I don't give a [ __ ] about college baseball or MLB baseball so I mean I'm just kind of hyped that my alma has done something special in a sport that I I kind of care about but I like uh I like that bet I think I might tell that that Colorado State love it Michigan or sorry Mississippi state's i
n tough position they're the first game tomorrow so if you're a dieh hard fan you're you're all in on that and if they lose you got the rest of the tournament while everybody's excited and amped up so that'll be an interesting one to watch D I'm going to throw the very last question over to you Monday morning headline will read what oo that's a tough one mhm you know we talk about the favorites right in these you know the Xfinity and truck series that won't be a headline because the favorites wi
ll probably dog walk everybody uh in cup I think it's G to be a William Byron win that's gonna be the headline 24 back to Victory Lane first driver to win two races in 2024 I just think about what he did at Watkins Glenn uh think about how good he's been at qualifying in general whether it's an oval or a road course uh and he was knocking on the door in this race last year to Tyler reic uh even though reck had the car to beat was so dominant William Byron was right there with him and gave him a
good fight so I think someone like William Byron who's actually kind of on a on a cold streak over these past few weeks and you know luckily he's got that Daytona 500 win to make sure he doesn't have any points issues getting into the playoffs as long as we don't have 17 winners uh but I think this is a track that that can neutralize a little bit of the chaos that he's gone through over the past few weeks and it could be a good spot where he gets back in Victory Lane and brings the 24 who's been
so good at the road courses over the years last two decades uh get that win at Kota okay so the 24 goes to Victory Lane is what you're thinking here for a Monday morning headline so let's do this let's move now to ride or fade this is our head-to-head topic of conversation and what we do here is we give the guys an opportunity to share what their favorite head-to-head on the board is and then I'll go around briefly asking the guys are you riding that play or you fading uh with that so Phil I'm
going to let you go first what's the head tohe head that you found for us on the board well um I'm usually not very good at this uh as far as like snagging a good number but uh I snagged Kyle Busch plus 100 against Denny Hamlin um when it came out and it is now minus 120 and I still would take it at minus 120 so I feel comfortable uh giving it out I mean this to me is I think what we're seeing with Hamlin if you're looking at like the numbers and everything like that a bit of a uh facade you kno
w he had three polls last year he qualifies great but he just can't get it done uh whereas Kyle Bush I mean he had a 28th Place finish in between kind of sandwiching between two good runs and that first rain race at Kota I mean he was the car to beat uh he ends up finishing second last year and um you know the the qualifying effort for Hamlin might scare some people but he's not doing anything with it uh one top five and three tries at Kota and then you know last year he only had two top 15 fini
shes in the six road courses the average finish last year in road courses 10 point uh see what it was for for Bush 10.3 it's double that for hamlins 20 point uh two essentially with two dnfs so four- two head-to-head uh last year for Kyle he's fifth in total speed Hamlin's 15th all the stats are pointing to Kyle Bush um so I know I was kind of down on Kyle the last couple weeks but it's a different venue different situation and I think maybe you know he's minus one 20 right now Hamond goes out a
nd qualifies well like we were all talking about a little bit ago Toyota's been putting down good uh practice and qualifying maybe wait and you get Kyle at a better number than minus 120 but I really feel like he's gonna win this match up okay I'm gonna go first I usually give the floor back over to Mark to go but I'm go first this isn't good for me I'm gonna fade this I knew when he jumps in it's not good for me I jumped in uh I'm gonna fade this because I do not trust Kyle Bush anymore I I fee
l like no I don't trust I I don't trust RCR I don't trust Kyle like they are I have to put them all the way to the side and say I don't trust you right now you're in my dogghouse till you come out of the doghouse show me something I don't trust you so I'm gonna fade this that could just be me uh Mark I'm Gonna Let You Go next I'm riding uh I know that this whole pit crew deal with Kyle bus and RCR is a complete cluster and they are trying to figure it out but Kyle Bush has been really good on ro
ad courses even last year I mean last year really good if you take out to Indianapolis lose the engine he's like arguably he's top three okay average running position speed you name it Kyle bus is up there finishes uh so I'm gonna ride you on Kyle Busch there uh because like I said earlier you just don't know what you're gonna get at Old Dennis Hamlin we don't know if he's gonna be 20th Place car if he's gonna be a fifth place car we don't know all right uh wa wait wait it's not your job I'm goi
ng I'm gonna go to Greg next so then you show your head tohe go ahead Greg all right all right um I think if we look at uh at Denny we look at his average running position last year we got 21.6 11.3 14.9 21.7 and then our outliar Sonoma at 2.4 um do I think that there's a chance Denny comes out and puts up a strong performance absolutely I think I think there's a chance but uh Denny and I I'll say TRX too like they're both weirdly somoma Specialists like that's they come out at somoma they perfo
rm at somoma and then we look at the rest of these numbers and we just go what's going on um you know yes Bush's pit crew scares the absolute Daylights out of me um and I don't understand why they haven't completely switched that pit crew like I don't understand why he doesn't have Austin dyan's pit crew yet right Austin Dylan's not winning races there's no chance of him winning races right now he is terrible like he's just he's had a lot of bad luck to start the year right but but he that car i
s not fast his car is not fast yeah so why doesn't Bush have the a pit crew right now so that does scare me but overall yeah I just I got I got to look at the consistency and bush has been infinitely more consistent at the road courses last year so yeah I'll I'll ride I'm going to go back and find out where I sent Todd I think it was Todd a text of like like I think it was like 10 of the last 13 finishes bush has finished 20th or worse like if you date him back to last year even so Dale are you
with the boys and going with Kyle Bush or you you joining my side you and I gonna ride this together I think I'm gonna go with Kyle Bush actually um and it's because with Denny ham it's not as much with Kyle as as it is with Denny to me and this isn't something I would actually put my money on because like you guys are saying I don't know if I can ever trust Kyle bus but when Denny is bad at a at a particular racetrack I mean he is so bad he makes mistakes and you could say Kyle Bush is in a sim
ilar boat at Kota um 2022 he wrecked on the final La running in the top 10 and uh he did get a top 10 in 2021 but 2023 he pit with like five to go and was running like 25th and then the caution came out with for debris and then everybody else pit and that's how he ended up with the lead running up in the top five so I think it's just it's a little skewed there regardless Denny like what Greg said I totally agree with with the Sonoma deal it seems like uh especially a lot of the older guys they'r
e good at somoma the road course has been on the schedule forever they're okay at Watkins Glenn and then they're just brutal at all these other road courses we've added since like 2018 2019 so uh for those Reasons I'm still gonna take kfb because I think Denny Hamlin is just so mistake prone at this Racetrack and in this particular situation well that'll be a fun one to watch I know that going into the weekend already so everybody's riding with Phil there with bush I'm on Hamlin side Mark I'm go
ing to kick it over to you what's the head the head that you found on the board heading into the weekend finally Derek you let me talk about my matchup dude well you skip a week and you forget how the shows run a my brain's mush after last week I don't know what to tell you still hung over uh we're going Ross Chastain minus 115 against AJ almond Dinger I like Phil said not very good at this whole line movement thing apparently so I took Ross chesting at minus 130 and then right before the show I
always like to check my numbers see if they've moved I hit it again at minus 115 so I'm going to claim the 115 it's available right now on Caesars Ross Chastain over AJ almond Dinger and usually I'm the guy I'm preaching Dinger ringer AJ average running position he got caught up here I making excuses for him he lost power steering at somoma yada y that's me that's usually me but not this week okay Ross Chastain at Kota is unbelievable all right if you let let's look at this as a helicopter view
right let's put our our classroom goggles on I'm up here at dryclean school all right if you remember anything from Cota the last two years both track house cars have been incredibly fast not just Chastain so Ross one and 22 all be it a little bit of a bumper to Mr AJ uh but he ran inside the in all day in 23 finished fourth I think or third whatever it was Suarez l a bunch of laps in stage one got flipped by the stage uh and just never recovered I think he got had a tire down whatever whatever
on the flip side this 16 colleague car that is SVG is running has but is prepared by track house has been ass so you might as well just take that 16 assness and put it on the 13 okay kic has been nothing but [ __ ] this year I mean absolutely no matter who the driver is doesn't matter they've been terrible I don't know what's going on they grew too fast whatever the excuse is this just think about how shitty the 16 that's what AJ's getting that's just my opinion I understand that AJ's had great
runs the last couple years they've been a pile of dog [ __ ] now this the track house guys I assume they have the same guys prepping at least they have the same notebook they you know they've got the stuff that they've made this car fast two years in a row to do it a third time and I I fully Embrace and I expect that to happen so if we look at the last two gen seven races at Kota uh Ross actually has better stats and some key stats than AJ does like average running position Ross 6.45 AJ 10th uh
average finish which obviously can go either way we know what happened with AJ and Ross at the end of 22 but Ross's average finish is 2.5 AJ is 33.5 I understand you know Rex happen yada yada uh nldd speed from Highline Ross is third AJ is ninth and in the model power ranking sorry because model swallo and Power Rankings spit out winners AJ's second and Ross is third but the metric score is very close so Zach's like don't worry about it throw it out they might as well just be the same okay anot
her thing is the number I feel like there there's too big of a chance for AJ for this colag car to like really Act actually stink than there is for for Ross to stink so I feel like Ross should be in that minus 130 minus 140 range because there's just a big unknown here and I could be eating my words right I mean AJ's AJ's really good on road courses and and he's obvious he's won a couple races and anyway I just think Ross is gonna show up and there's a qu big question mark in front of AJ I think
the best thing you said there was that the SVG cars being built and done by track house I think that you could have just said that and I would have been happy with hearing that um all right so you're going to go Chastain over AJ Greg what about you you riding that or you fading that play I I mean I'm not gonna bet it uh I can't get there because I just I I've got so much uncertainty with what this 16 is going to be because as you said it's been such like it's been so terrible I don't understand
how that car has been so bad to start the year um but it's AJ it's go to I I'm G to take Ross like if we're doing it I'm gonna ride that uh okay I don't know that I can actually get quite to it but yeah I I agree with the overall idea that you know here Ross should be favored um I think 115 is probably fair so okay so you like you like the Ross side what about you Dale yeah my favorite thing mark said uh which I think you were about to say it this isn't the 16 car for AJ this weekend it's the 1
3 isn't it weird man just from that that's terrible energy to me like what a like that 13 when colic has had it have they has it ever done anything special even if the car is better than what they have on the 16 or hemr 31 13 number like yeah I I I'm right with Chastain on that one number alone riding with Chastain I like that Phil what about you are you riding with Chastain and Mark or you going to go to the AJ side I assume you're going Chastain yeah I mean I first of all the the number I mean
it's like when you're numers favorite player like switches teams and he's got to wear something different I was going to use the 45 for Jordan but then we're putting AJ in Jordan's category can't do that we like that but it's still awkward to see it um no I mean I'm gonna go Ross and it's because of kind of like what we were saying I'll just say two quick things right we mentioned how he was in the race against Ross in 2022 and AJ gets bumped out of the way finishes outside the top 30 like that
's what he does he's third fourth in driver rating all last year on road courses he's not even in the top 10 an average finish why it's because that's what AJ does he races really well and struggles to get the finishes so Ross has proven his average finish is what like 3.0 at this track uh I I'll I'll roll with Ross here yeah I think any time you can go back to the place where you got your first win I think that always speaks volumes about a guy coming back Greg I'm going to throw it over to you
what was the head tohe head that you found on the board that you uh feel like you have a betting edge with this week so I want to take Alex Bowman minus5 over Austin syndric um Bowman's really good here like really good here he's been upfront both years um I think um when we look at cnri sync's on the decline uh Bowman yeah still some question marks about him but this is like of the road courses this is this is Bowman's course um and so you know I'm going to take him uh I think you know overall
at the road courses they're probably pretty close to even right now but at this particular road course give me Bowman okay give you Bowman I like that I'm I'm gonna ride with that as well Dale how about you what side do you like on that Bowman or cnri yeah I like the Bowman side I think he's a very underrated road course racer in general and you know we expected Austin syri to come into the cup series and be a force at this type of race RAC track and he kind of felt like that was possible early
in 2022 when he he hung around the top five a good bit at some of those RAC tracks and he's just kind of falling off and I don't think you can trust him and Alex Bowman has been good at Circuit of the Americas over all three years really so um I think about 2022 when he almost crept up and stole the win away from AJ and Ross Chastain that y were just referencing so he's very sneaky right he's very sneaky but he runs up front and S syri is inconsistent well consistently bad for the most part and
and Bowman is not at this racetrack so yeah keep it simple I would take Bowman okay you're taking Bowman as well Phil how about you yeah man I'm I'm calling shotgun I'm hopping in that front seat and I'm riding baby um I'm gonna be talking about Bowman I think in in just a second so I'll save uh little bit of uh exclamation point on top of that but yeah I'm R I like that all right I like that and Mark how about you I don't have anything else to add uh while Phil's in the shotgun seat I'll be in
the back with some Bush lights Bowman it is Bowman it is all right so everybody likes Bowman there dale I'm going to kick it over to you what have you found and you can close out this segment then what have you found as your favorite head-to-head on the board right now yeah I'm not if anyone that follows my bets I'm I'm not always the biggest head-to-head guy especially at road courses or super spe Speedways mainly but road courses too because another thing you guys referenced about AJ crashing
of the final app in 2022 I had a lock bet just massive bet on that race that he was going to beat Denny Hamlin head-to-head at Kota 2022 easiest I mean easiest bet to Cash ever he spins after Ross Chastain hits him which AJ bumped him first Chastain gets him back he spins and he goes into the freaking sand trap and he can't get out and Denny Hamlin's running I don't know [ __ ] 18th and and beat so um that's not really my forte at this type of race but uh to kind of mitigate the idea of giving
a matchup that I like for the weekend I want to look at qualifying matchups on Caesars Daniel Suarez versus Alex Bowman Alex Bowman is awesome here Daniel Suarez has been good here too uh obviously uh he well not obviously people may forget that that year that Chast stain won he was on the poll and was very very good and then I don't know what happened he got spun on a restart after Mark had mentioned he got flipped on the stages and it all fell apart uh and we know S as good on road courses but
when you look at qualifying in 2023 on six left and right handed courses Daniel Suarez is 6 and0 head toe head against starting head of Alex Bowman if you want to look at an analytical lock which nothing's a lock but arguably the most the most sound statistical bet of the weekend might be Daniel Suarez minus 120 versus Alex Bowman in qualifying matchups on Caesars I love that get us started with a win and qualifying on Saturday we'll roll right into Sunday Phil what do you think about that qual
ifying matchup I like it because I I on the Pod last night with Chris we were talking about chastine versus Suarez and and we talked about his uh qualifying prowess and uh I I was like yeah but he hasn't been getting the finishes here at Cody he's like 7.0 average starting position at this track you just heard those numbers uh if if you want to bet Suarez this weekend and feel confident about it that's the bet man so I'm I'm going to ride and I'm going probably put that in right now I like that

hing so y Joey loano Top 10 I'm not expecting them to have race winning Pace over at Pensky all right the the last couple years Dakota has been Bleak blay had a top six I think he finished six a couple years ago that's about it there Lano got screwed on some late restarts whatever whatever but still he's like a 15th to 17th Place car at Kota if you look at the rest of the season third at Sonoma eighth at Chicago 10th at Watkins Glenn fifth at the roville and then he wrecked at Indie road so okay
that's four out of seven top 10 and if you throw out the Rex okay he's four for four finishing the top 10 I'm no mathematician here but 50 to1 55 to1 outright and two to one two and a half to one for a top 10 definitely a little ridiculous and I get it right if you look at the strict numbers for legano for blay at Kota it is abysmal everything about it but you look at what they've done you know this has been the first road course of the season the last two years and you know teams learn and the
y get better and they get better and they get better well Lano the 22 team got much much much better towards the end of the season on road courses so I like the two to one you're not I mean this race could get wonky we know what turn one can be they're going to try to CH you know help it with the the restart Zone but but you know I just feel like if if legano gets half of what he brought the second half of the year on road courses toota two to one's in play Big Time so I like Lano top 10 okay yo
u like Lano top 10 Greg how about you uh I'm gonna take Michael mcal top 10 plus 105 at um any of the CI books so B uh Rivers uh unibet um mcdal has he's I mean he's been a great Road course driver I think we all know that um the books have uh really latched on to that most places I think most places is oneus 120 minus 150 even um you know of the road courses yeah this is probably one of his uh you know worse but he was in position to do this last year until those you know half dozen chaotic res
tarts at the end he got uh kind of kind of screwed a little bit at the end I mean he was actually probably in line to be top Ford last year and we were getting a really good price then um so yeah I'm going to I'm going to look at his overall road course uh ability and say yeah he's he's 50% to finish top 10 here I'll take uh plus 105 yeah that uh obviously the partnership there the tier one Alliance I'm very curious to see how much better that makes mcdal because you know Pensky is going to be l
ooking really at what front Row's been doing especially mcdal so uh good call out there dale where we going I I lean towards uh Chase Brisco maybe a top Ford bet would be an idea at least uh nine and a half to one on Caesars I like the idea of stacking some of these top Ford guys I feel like Ford is a good place to look for positional or I guess it's not a is that considered a position prop I guess I guess it is um yeah I'm just talking prop Ford I think is a good place to start with Chase Brisc
o being nine and a half to one because uh as somebody said earlier can't remember who are we scared of anybody in the Ford Camp that's dominant enough to win this this particular prop I don't know Michael McDow is great and like you guys are talking about with the tier one alliance with the Ford program uh but Michael mcdal has been far from perfect even with even this year with really good equipment or at least a really good equipment upgrade yeah he's a great road course racer but three to one
is not something I would bet uh Chris bucher's been pretty good too but not perfectly consistent we know what Alla sync's been we know Bland and legano haven't been super consistent Chase Brisco has been pretty good here regardless of what the finishing POS Position will tell you in 2022 he was a guy that was battling for the win in that crazy race with reck and Chastain uh until he ran off in the in the one of the chicanes and fell all the way to the back and in his other two starts he's finis
hed up in the top 15 and one top 10 so I think Chase bris is a sneaky guy and just to add on a 50 to one outright or plus money top 10 if you want to go with a specific position prop I kind of got lost until I looked at the the thing on the right the the rund down it says position prop but uh we're going to throw it in there anyway so Chase Brisco could be a guy that could be worth several different props this weekend in my mind yeah I think you can throw anything you want in there dale uh we go

um yeah I know I'm wearing the 24 and that was the rapid fire deal but like 12 to one on William Byron on bed MGM is just too long for a guy that's been really good uh at a lot of the road courses including cot when he let a lot of laps here last year and was primed for a second place finish until a late race caution came out so with Tyler reic being a big favorite it kind of gives us some options uh when it when it comes to picking someone like William Byron who's capable of winning anywhere s
o I think a 12 to one outright is a good line to grab William Byron at especially with how good he is at qualifying we saw what happened at Watkins Glenn when he qualified up front he never left the front um and I know cot is different you have more of a wild card with a turn one up the hill [ __ ] show that that that it is but I think William Byron has all the elements to go to Victory Lane and if you're going to give us 12 to one I think that's something that is a good early bet to lock in con
sidering I think he's going to start with track position on Sunday yeah so you like that 12 to one number there uh Phil how about you well um I'm gonna go a little bit deeper into somebody that we've mentioned a bunch already uh but also kind of based on the number here and it's Tai Gibbs I'll just kind of put the you know pin in K Ty Gibbs here because we've been talking about him but into some stats here because he's 13 to1 still uh he was 14 to1 on DraftKings at one point he's down now but I
think it's B rivers that has him 13 to1 um and to me it's it's a couple different things it's his career progression this year what we've seen him do I mean he was the fastest car last week and was just kind of caught up in the the craziness of that race uh two races before that he looked really strong doesn't look like he's like this young kid in his second year full-time and looking at road courses it matches that career progression like the way he finished the season so strong last year and t
op fives uh to end the season he was second in green flag speed ranking uh or total speed ranking in both of the final two races last year so he's just been getting stronger as he's been learning and you're looking at Kota I mean his speed ranking was 13th that's the worst of the whole road course season and he ends up getting a top 10 Race out of it or top 10 finish um so for the whole season he was ranked fourth in total speed so I'm going a little hard on that number but average finish last y
ear he was third in NASCAR 9.5 I mean this guy's got the goods and you know we've said it a bunch of different times but I really wanted just to put it over the edge here 13 to1 I think is a a sneaky number uh because he's somebody I could see practice going out and practice fourth or third put the car you know front row and all of a sudden that number disappears so uh I'm I'm calling out Gibbs tonight okay okay so 13-1 is the number you saw there you like that Mark how about you man my [ __ ] a

or the seven road course races last year that's the data point average running position first by over two spots driver rating first by seven points I don't know how all that's added up don't ask me I'm just the guy that regurgitates the information but it sounds like a lot uh nldd speed first average finished second at the two Kota races none behind none other than road course Ace Alex Bowman LOL uh but he's six an average finish across the seven races because he wrecked somoma and had the tire

the last couple years I'll take I'll take the number and 40 to1 outright lay some coin on it throw some shekel okay all right what about you Greg so I'm going to stay in the xinity series actually I like that and this number uh was was longer last night but it's still value where it is all right K Gibbs plus 110 over Kyle Larson in Xfinity all right now this is arguably larsson's worst road course he has not shown us anything here and two all right just point of reference that exact same matchup
in the cup series is minus 130 for Tai so we are you telling me that dropping down to the Xfinity Series where Tai has been driving these cars more recently more consistently and is still the like are are we really saying that the 17 and the 19 are not the equivalent equipment of their cars in the cup series of course they're the same so you're going to give me plus money on him absolutely all day every day MH I I I like that call out I like when we dip into these lower tier series uh which is
great Dale how about you so first of all someone asked in the chat if IID hit that stin house bet that was actually garage guy chase that hit that Sous B but I think I had Todd Gil in top 10 who finished 10th and I'm sure toddy G is going to be a popular play this weekend but um looking at bmgm I'm trying to it's tough to decide what I want to be my favorite because uh when I look at bat MGM I really like Chase Brisco for top five at 8 to1 uh I feel like that's something not a lot of people are
going to believe in but I feel like just from the eye test from what I've seen he's been decent at cot for an shr guy he's led the charge of the road courses over the past few years which isn't saying a whole lot considering Kevin Harvick has not been great at road courses outside of Sonoma and then the revolving door of the 41 um and now the revolving door of the 10 with coming in over Al marola but to me Chase brisco's had a decent start to the season it hasn't been terrible he's found ways to
run in the top 15 and the top 20 uh outside of his crash at Atlanta it hadn't been a terrible start to the year and they've had moments where they've had some speed and uh just think about 2022 and and what he used to do in the exfinity series Chase Brisco was awesome at the road courses I just feel like there's a chance there is a breakthrough 8 to one top forward uh and I want to just give one bonus I love the idea of stacking two top 10 guys okay love the idea of stacking two top 10 guys and
I'm going to go with two Spire guys Zayn Smith and Cory lejoy Cory lejoy finished 11th here last year has gotten better and better and zanen Smith who's had a terrible start to the season there's no doubt about it has had awesome experience atota with two wins he's been good at road courses in the truck series I know it's a totally different series it's a totally different level of competition but there's got to be a time when Zayn Smith has a decent run run I believe in the level of talent I l
ove the idea of stacking an 8 to1 top 10 and a 9 to1 top 10 and and personally that uh when we seen what has happened with top 10 bets in particular at road courses in NASCAR especially in the cup series or only in the cup series because you can't bet top 10's anywhere else but when we've seen the the craziness and the Calamity that's happened at road courses you get some Underdog top 10 that will cash at a lot of these left and right courses every single year so stack a couple of them with Zay
