In the first half of the 70s Benelli was part
of the De Tomaso Group. The range of the Pesarese company was quite
wide and went from mopeds to the so-called maximotos. Among the small displacements, the most "off-road"
proposals were the Cross 50 and 125, the latter later changed its name to enduro, which despite
not being among the most sought-after vehicles among fourteen- and sixteen-year-olds fascinated
by the beautiful regularity bikes of that period, they had more than moderate success
as
they were very robust motorbikes, with satisfactory performance, aesthetically appealing
and cheap. Recently, rumors have spread that Benelli
will launch their newest dual purpose motorbike, the Benelli Enduro 400. This enduro motorbike is rumored to be using
a 400cc single-cylinder and air-cooled engine which is already owned by Benelli. Hot news from the automotive world is heating
up again with the emergence of the latest rumors about the launch of the long-awaited

uro 400. This news is getting stronger after famous
designer Oberdan Bezzi released a concept image depicting the potential appearance of
this motorbike. Equipped with a 400cc air-cooled single-cylinder. technically simple and clear, with good brakes
and shock absorbers, comfortable saddle at human height, a tank, two side panels and
metal mudguards An aesthetic appearance of a typical 70s "cross"
fifty which is obviously sized properly, and painted in a beautiful bright yellow. However, even th
ough the appearance is inspired
by classic motorbikes, some parts already use the latest technology such as upside down
type front suspension, LED headlights, front and rear disc brakes which are of course equipped
with Dual Channel ABS. Benelli's decision to use a 400cc water-cooled
single-cylinder engine is believed to be a strategic step to reach a wide market. With performance that is expected to be the
ideal combination of reliability, efficiency and appeal for adventure fans on and off the
road. Even though there has been no official statement
from Benelli, the enthusiasm of trail bike fans is getting hotter with the emergence
