5 Quick FACTS about Tusken Raiders | Star Wars Canon Explained | #Shorts

The Book of Boba Fett is here! The brand new Disney+ series has seen Boba Fett work to establish himself as a crime lord on Tatooine. In addition, the new Star Wars series has also shown Boba Fett's time with the Tusken Raiders, following his escape from the Sarlacc Pit. Both Chapter 1 and 2 of the Book of Boba Fett has provided Star Wars fans with a very unique look at the Tusken Raiders, shedding light on their culture and experience roaming the Jundland Wastes of Tatooine. Additionally, The Book of Boba Fett has provided fans with a look at Boba Fett slowly becoming a part of a Tusken Raider tribe, as he learned their ways, customs, and even their fighting techniques. The Book of Boba Fett has offered a glimpse into the world of the Tusken Raiders not previously seen in Star Wars, and it's be a wonderful ride thus far. Tusken Raiders, less formally referred to as Sand People or simply as Tuskens, were a culture of nomadic sentients indigenous to the desert planet Tatooine, where they were often hostile to local settlers. Tusken children were called Uli-ah. The Tusken Raiders homeworld's harsh environment resulted in them being extremely xenophobic and territorial of their native resources, often attacking the outskirts of smaller settlements such as Anchorhead. The Tuskens viewed themselves as Tatooine's locals and everyone else as trespassers. Tusken Raiders were often seen as uncivilized by other species and groups, which led to mistreatment from Tatooine settlers; this animosity then propelled Tusken Raiders to retaliate, leading to a cycle of violence. While the Tuskens were nominally hostile towards outsiders, one tribe did enter into an arrangement with the lawman Cobb Vanth, the Sheriff of Freetown. Additionally, following his capture by a tribe of Tusken Raiders, the Mandalorian bounty hunter, Boba Fett, assimilated the tribe, becoming a full fledged member after learning the tribe's customs and helping them defeat a group of Pyke's that regularly traversed the Jundland Wastes-the ancestral home of the Tusken Raiders-and killing members of the Tusken Raider tribe. The Book of Boba Fett has finally arrived! Season 1 of The Book of Boba Fett has premiered, and what an episode it was. The brand new Disney+ series-which was originally teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of The Mandalorian-The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate. I'm super excited to see what the rest of season 1 of The Book of Boba Fett has in store for Star Wars fans, and I can't wait to see what the season has in store of Boba Fett and Fennec Shand. Additionally, I'm curious if we'll see Boba Fett cross paths with some other notorious bounty hunters, or possibly characters such as Din Djarin.
