these Sports Betting companies should be avoided  at all costs because quite frankly using them could cost you a fortune or the very least waste  weeks of your life they do their best to hide what's going on so I'm going to expose it so in no  particular order Sky bet are running themselves a terrible reputation right now for multiple reasons  they're probably the worst sports betting company that I can think of for context so I can explain  just look at this email that they sent one of you guys
their customer in short they've accused the  account holder of Fraud and cheating because an inlay bet was placed within 10 seconds of a goal  being scored the email threatens to report the customer details to the police and that they may  be liable for all losses liabilities damages costs and expenses that they incur presumably meaning  that if they should go to court it's all written in their terms of conditions the quoted terms  also say that they can withhold all of the account holders wini
n at their own discretion which is  something that has cost multiple skybet users a fortune over the last year because is a term  that has been used in multiple situations many of which unfair or right in this case they refunded  the customers 500 deposit closed the account and refused to respond further now if you think that  was reasonable from Sky Bet check out the direct contradiction shared by one of you guys too it  appears taking money on a bet that's already been decided a full 3 milli a
fter it happened isn't  treated the same way despite it being the total opposite and worse but there's more because  this isn't the only reason to avoid Sky Bet like the plague aside from Banning winners and  holding withdrawals skybet have got some Extreme Digital surveillance going on previously an  investigation by crack Labs uncovered the 2,154 Transmissions of data had been made to 44  different digital surveillance companies by just 37 visits to their website they're literally  spying on t
heir customers every move and then using the information to exploit losers and  restrict winners whatever you do don't send them your bank statements even if they say  it's for regulatory reasons if you do it's a strong chance they'll use them to avoid paying  out and attempt to link you with other betting accounts it's outrageous but for some people  they've even requested the bank statements of people that have previously sent the money worst  case it may cost you your entire account balance i
ncluding your winnings and best case it will lead  to weeks of emails and questions wasting your time which leads me on to sports betting company  number two being a betting exchange and not a book maker Smarkets have a better reputation the  most although I've seen a lot of complaints about their document checking processes over the last  year to illustrate I'll share a recent example that was sent in the customer deposited £170 and  withdrawn £278 £8 in the last 12 months putting them £108 in
profit they barely used the account  but last month they deposited and bet 50 after the bet was settled they received this email despite  being a customer for years markets claimed that they needed to check with source of funds proof of  wealth and for social responsibility in line with the 50 bet that they had placed now think about  that for a second how someone is money laundering or suffering from gambling addiction over 50  Quid is pretty farfetched especially when you consider the account
was profitable but still the  customer complied submitting proof of their six figer salary in the process but after perusing  the customer bank statements they continue to hold the account while asking questions about  transactions that were made after they had placed the bet clearly this is completely unjustifiable  and totally ridiculous wasting a huge amount of the customer time in the process but this is not  the only only problem with Smarkets for those that are unaware Smarkets is marketed
as a bar exchange  meaning the unlock a bookmaker customers log in to bet against each other the house isn't involved  so prices are good and the playing field is fair however this isn't exactly true Smarkets are  also betting on their own platform as a third party some of you guys are complained the bets  have been voided and business rejected presumably because you're beating them at their own game for  me this makes want to avoid although number three on the list is undoubtedly far worse Uni
bet has  got a long history of refusing withdrawals and confiscating winnings aside from William Hill  and skybet they're one of the worst companies for it I know barely anyone does but if you  read their terms and conditions you'll see how ridiculous this has become if we look at  the wording in section 16 alone titled fraud and cheating just about anything and everything  qualifies for example if someone has transferred money to your bank account if you've been on  the same selection as someon
e else or follow the tipster if you've used software of any kind  to make winning betting decisions or if someone you know has given you a heads up of course this  doesn't seem to extend to their sponsors sadly like many of the problems that I'm highlighting  here you only find out how bad Unibet are on a one to1 basis via email after your money has been  confiscated and the winnings withheld they act as judge jury and executioner from ji so there's not  much that you can do about it either comp
laints and follow-up emails lead to a massive waste of  time that are often ignored personally my advice is to avoid them at all costs it'll save you a  lot of time and money unless you're a consistent loser in which case they'll probably never even  get in touch in my personal opinion these last four are A muster void for varying reasons Paddy  Power certainly aren't alone in their fil behavior and multiple issues recently they appeared on my  timeline to settling a winning bet as a loser it's
not the first time that this has happened either  and I'm sure it won't be the last firms are happy to point the finger at opter and hide behind  terms and conditions when there's a chance to avoid paying out the bet flutter of companies  like Paddy Power and Sky Bet tend to be the worst for this looking at social media it really  stresses out football fans there's a steady ream of outrageous complaints about Paddy Power more  than I can even list it appears their strategy is crack a joke and th
en just keep on going the  company has got little regard for the vulnerable as it landed themselves a 490,000 fine last year  as they sent push notifications to addicts who had specifically asked to be self excluded all in  all they're definitely one to avoid the sports Betos are usually terrible too unlike the next  company on our list because typically they've got really good prices it's just a shame that no  nobody can bet on them for long now the broader audience is always baffled by this on
e so I'll  explain briefly you see there's only one way to beat a sports book or bookmaker by betting on odds  that are higher than their true probability in the short term results will be mixed because quite  honestly nobody can predict the future but over the long term getting bigger odds means guaranteed  profit it's a mathematically proven strategy known as positive expected value bet however bet 365  pioneered way in stake restrictions which means that if you regularly bet a value what they
will  state restrict your betting account just like this here on the screen it's a you can look but you  can't touch situation to the masses they've got the best odds but in reality you just can't get  them for long at all but there's not much we can do other than avoid using them or use a betting  exchange or sharp betting brand if you can get access One Way Savvy punters have got around  these betting restrictions is to open multiple betting accounts by a family friends however  with the comp
any's in charge of checking bank statements it's just G given them another way  to link counts but don't panic tipping off your pals isn't a crime it's believed that there was  a lot more fraud to this case than having a few bet accounts unlike the next couple of examples  La bres Coral is a must avoid this year for many of the reasons already listed they behave in a  similar fashion trolling CCTV asking questions and tracking customer details in shot in some  cases employees claim that they've
been told to note down car registrations and even the Clos that  the customers are wearing but that's not the worst bit they also have a long history of failing to  on their bets like this 8,000 lb win this multiple and this long shot not to mention the special  accumulator they even advertised in the newspaper it happens over and over again they're quick to  advertise the chance to win but even quicker to hide behind terms and conditions corporate lawyers  and low paid staff save yourself some
time and a whole load of money and give them a massive sth  now finally the absolute worst of a bad Bunch because William Hill is a sports betting company I  get contacted about the most some of the problems I hear about are beyond belief from voiding bets  to changing the odds after it's one there's never a dull moment however there's often a common  thing they get to keep the money they too have been using document checks to stop withdrawals and  in one case one of you guys sent me the details
of a request for deposit in just 20 but it gets  worse because in shop they don't always do the harm checks on bets over £2,000 instead they  do the checks after the BET has won more than £10,000 the all the details and full story in this  next video here in the end screen it's intense

@PipBets

Ruthless exposure Caan, love it! About time the punters see the truth I had this happen enough times in 2023, most often a 'war of attrition', making life hard and giving the run-around for months after withdrawal requests. Getting silly now, and glad to see a big channel bringing it to the normal punters' eyes

@washingtonmaina

Been a long while good to have you back caan

@davidedwards209

I've had loads of casinos take money but as soon as you withdraw they want everything. I was even asked for my tax returns at one point. I told them close the account not worth it at all. What baffles me is as things should be getting more regulatory the bookies seem to be in such a strong position of power. Its honestly turned me off betting altogether.

@turinturk2835

Wonder how many accounts with a decent balance become inactive (eg punter dies) and company keeps the lot? Must push the bookmaker's edge up considerably

@timblagdon103

Great work Caan! it appears in your first example the bookie screwed up and did not adjust the odds accordingly in that case they should just pay up and take it on the chin. A similar thing happened to me years ago when I backed a football club to finish top 6 and later in the season, it was impossible for them to do so a cash out was still being offered which I duly did. Again a mistake and I have always made mistakes by for example betting over 2.5 goals instead of a home win and have lost money.

@NH-tv3jr

Good stuff. I've had accounts closed for winning 365, sky and more. Paddy power were more subtle and I'd go to place a £20 bet and be told "maximum stake is 18p"😂 Virgin limit you as well pretty quickly.

@stephenglazer4224

I have worked for Pinnacle Sports as a software engineer for ten years and we don't do any of this shady shit. We don't ban winning players. We don't hold someone responsible for past the post betting and we usually have the lowest vig on most lines.

@qi-cd8op

These companies just want to make money for themselves, and as soon as their customers make money, they start to maliciously make things difficult for them.

@projectslotmachineuk2807

I put £50 in a FOBT in Coral and won £500. When I cashed out, the staff member asked how much I put in to get the £500 Jackpot. It’s as if the bookies don’t want to pay out 🤷‍♂️

@AnonymousSuperTuber

I won a 5 grand bet with Coral and they refused to send me the money because i couldn't provide all the statements they wanted

@wynnyification

I work for a bookmaker who’s not mentioned in your video. Give you a clue, privately owned Salford company. I have to say they are always excellent for customer service and the last thing the company wants to do is alienate its punters. The new laws on betting and affordability have caused quite some issues for us and especially for me ethically, as I am a bachelor of social welfare and know the effects of gambling addiction and the horror it can bring. But yeh most of them are just after your hard earned money to put in their own pockets. Ethically challenging

@usama5263

If we comapre the sharpness of sharp bookies with Exchanges, which one's faster in your opinion Exchanges or sharp bookies? Is it possible to do value betting on one using the other to Calculate true odds of an event?

@fireindadisco

Under GC Rules, KYC/AML checks are meant to be done at the earliest possible time & must not be enforced to stall withdrawals. For those facing ridiculous documents, don't provide these documents for security reasons and wait the requisite period. They may close your account BUT they must pay out the winnings.

@AC-dd3rb

Paddy Power recently marked my Beat the Drop as a loser when the team actually won had it been the last question or a few questions from winning i'd have been even more annoyed than I was and that was just a free game.

@DanceySteveYNWA

Even the newer model SSBT terminals in William Hills now have face cameras in them. No doubt they have facial recognition software linked to you and your Plus card

@huxxy1

Great vid Caan. Can you recomend two/three companies to register with??

@jamesroche6138

Went into thepaddy powers to place a bet on a horse as I handed in the slip the race then took off, I asked if I got in on in time and was told I did, so I’m assuming my bet is on, come back 30 mins later to collect because the horse won… Was told I didn’t get it on in time, I was annoyed but accepted the decision and got my stake back. What bothers me is if I thought I got it on and the horse lost I would not think of getting my stake back because I didn’t know it actually didn’t go through 😡

@HBS444

Pretty accurate list for the high street too. Was a runner for a sharp crew for a few years post lockdown until recently. Hills monitor all the machines in every shop and circulate your likeness to all near shops once u get caught beating their odds. Lads/coral pretty sharp too and have very small PTL. Paddy love to SP you. Betfred only one that take a reasonable bet and arent super on the ball stomping on sharpies.

@drofheim

With the Sky one, it’s simply plain bullying. If anyone is quite handy with law that would be fairly easy to deal with (if not time consuming.) Like the TV licence just take it to them and give it back.
