Chicago Symphony Orchestra

I feel very honored and very inspired to be embarking on this journey because it's an orchestra of such Brilliance and and power and and sensitivity at the same [Music] time it's for many people not only in America but internationally Chicago Symphony has always served as an example what is a great Orchestra It's a Wonderful advantage to have an orchestra with which has such a rich tradition but also you can really find a lot of inspiration our very first encounter with the orchestra in April 20
22 I was very impressed was how they worked that piece of iot was in a way the perfect piece to start their relationship with the orchestra because everyone gets to play something interesting everyone gets to give something in a in in a way that not many other pieces give you the opportunity and it's also a great Orchestra showpiece which you can really see what the orchestra can give and I was very impressed what they gave what we have is is a very rare still individual sound which is completel
y like no other so players are the most important creating the sound and of course Chicago has such an advantage of being an orchestra of a very wide range of of repertoire and the Chicago Symphony has an attitude of perfecting the art and this is what we need to give in today's world as much as we need to give before and and and forever is is really to always try to aim for the best and I could sense from the very beginning that it's an orchestra which wants to come with me on on board this Mis
sion and we need to experiment we need to find sounds and colors but then still to keep this identity of the orchestra which is so wonderfully distinct it's a great place to make art Chicago a great audience and a great hall which those walls have heard so many great performances and hopefully will hear for a very very long time it's a very exceptional Orchestra with identity and passion and that's I think what is so important for me when I find a partner which wants to go in the same direction
and and and do these things together then of course I'm also feeling this deep gratitude that I've been chosen to be part of [Music] this
