2023 was certainly a year of weather anomalies and Jack woo with the 22 News Storm Team Recaps our year in weather 2023 was a crazy year in terms of weather and one of the Milestones was July's rainfall amounts almost 10 in of rain in July alone normally seeing only 3.36 in of rain and it wasn't just July September also saw massive amount of rainfall with over 8 Ines of rain along with the rain we've been seeing more storms this year 20 named storms Adalia being the only one to make landfall in
the US but other storms had their effects just like hurricane Lee had its effects here in the Northeast with large with large amounts of damage and flooding along with those high winds and we got all the way down to Tropical Storm Tammy this year and if anything and if any signs show so these warmer sea temperatures being the cause of that and warming temperatures globally we could see more hurricanes and tropical storms next year as well now for the month of December massive amounts of rainfall
for the month of December 4.45 Ines to date and only seeing 3.36 3.6 normally in a given year but we haven't seen a lot of snow only 6 Ines of snow so far this season and normally seeing 492 in of snow we are not close to hitting our average for this year and if anything shows for this year in crazy weather we're due for much more in 2024 working for you I'm Jack woo with the 22 new Storm Team
