all right everybody buckle up we've got some fun here actresses and comedians Tisha Campbell Kim Whitley and Yvette Nicole Brown have been making us laugh for decades with their hit projects like Martin Sparks and Community well now the real life friends are coming together for the first time with their new sitcom it's called act your age oh and the series is described as a modern day Golden Girls it follows three women Bernadette Keisha and Angela they move in together and they're basically jus
t trying to find their way through life you know I don't know I didn't think I was living together would be a good idea but this week has been a pleasant surprise I know me and Bernie would be good but I thought living with you would feel like living in a Convent and not the fun Whoopi Goldberg kind Keisha if you set foot into a conference you would burst into flames when I did I did anyway this is way better than living with my ex I never felt like I could be my true self around him uh well you
could be whoever you want to be here honey Mikasa hey su casa all right according to all of you guys a great premise so Tisha and act your age you play your character's name is Keisha yes did she remind you of yourself at all oh yes yes um that she doesn't want to act her age that's the most important that she's a free spirit and she's just out there living her best life at whatever grown age when she says today Craig the older we get the more we feel like like to me 50 seems like yeah right ri
ght exactly exactly something very much like her yes she is so Chanel just said I mean we love the premise of this idea Kim you is is a tree of four hours to decide if you wanted to be a part of this like what was going on that that happened and what made you ultimately decide to to be a part of it well uh let's just tell the truth an actress fell out and uh unbelievable I know she was wonderful but I'm wonderful too so um Allison Faust who's the creator I didn't know they called me and I was li
ke oh I don't know and these two called me yeah it wasn't hurt Allison's house I know that she is extremely funny yes a great writer and uh I knew I could go these are my real friends yeah to work with my real friends I was like let's do it yeah so that's how it's great well Yvette you say that this show is is your dream job is it these two ladies that make it that is it the fact that here's a funny a fallback four camera sitcom that makes it a dream I've been a fan of these two my entire life I
've watched them just be brilliant Allison Faust has created a show that celebrates black women of all ages and I think it's a show that's for everyone so when he found out that we could all be leads we're not someone's wife sister the meter man we're not any of that we get to have stories that are about deaths we get to lead a show together and we're all equal we all love each other and it's just been a dream and there's nothing like it on television I want to Pivot and talk about something els
e because I remember this from a couple years ago t-shirt you started this app with your brother from that mistake in the lieutenant it's called dope dope the dope movement the dope and it stands for de-escalating officer patrolling yes how did that app come about well um my my son has uh is on the spectrum of autism and somebody sent him out to go to the store and didn't prep him for what would happen if you got stopped by a police officer what would happen if you got you know in Tangled with y
ou some gang members anything nothing happened so I was worried until he walked back home and came home safely and I said well what would you do if a police officer stopped you he said well and he puts his hands behind his back and I was like no don't do that so we had my brother said I'm going to teach how to de-escalate for not only civilians but for officers too so he goes out and he talks to different police State uh police um departments departments and um yeah it's a beautiful thing it's r
eally beautiful and it turned into this big bigger thing that I ever thought this app you can call your it will call your family members when you're stopped by it supports it does everything I love that yeah I love that you guys all have so many projects I don't want to run out of time really quickly um Yvette you're adorable pup Mister yeah Mr Harley Brown a star in his own right his own Instagram page read that he was a double and Lady he was we did lady in the tramps together down in Savannah
a few years ago and this and Disney adoption agency who knew and I adopted him after the movie and my character hated dogs but I personally love them and so I took little Harley home and now they tell which one is yours this is the thing one of the dogs was harvested for hair and I think that was Harley because he's untrainable by the way Kim congratulations second year in NAACP outstanding arts for your podcast with Sherry Shepard that's right uh too funny too funny mamas that's right thank yo
u to all the fans that voted that means we gotta work harder to get another image award next year yeah Sherry likes to talk I guess y'all will sleep later y'all got a lot going on t-shirt Kim thank you thank you thanks for having me please catch act your age this Saturday at 8 on bound hey thanks for watching don't miss the Today show every weekday at 11 A.M Eastern 8 Pacific on our streaming Channel today all day to watch head to today.com all day or click the link right here

I enjoyed the first episode of Act Your Age with actresses I've watched mostly all my life. Yes, this will be a top rated show watched by millions. The thing about Bounce TV and it's Top rated Black sitcoms is, they get moved to Cable television after some time on public television...so, if you don't have cable and don't plan to get it, don't get caught up in watching Act Your Age... you'll be disappointed when it's not accessible anymore. Love the show, Happy to see Tisha Campbell back at it...she still got it!
