Google Maps toevoegen aan afspraken Heeft u ooit een afspraak gemaakt waarbij een plattegrond handig was geweest? Met Google Agenda en Google Maps kunt u een kaart toevoegen en uw gasten een routebeschrijving geven. Typ zoveel mogelijk gegevens in Afspraakgegevens in het veld 'Waar', waaronder het adres, de plaats en de postcode. Om ervoor te zorgen dat de gegevens correct zijn, kunt u deze controleren in Google Maps. Ik ga naar maps.google.com, typ de locatie in het zoekveld en klik op 'Zoeken
in Maps'. Dit is de kaart: het adres lijkt te kloppen. Omdat alle gasten vanaf dezelfde locatie komen, kan ik ze ook direct de routebeschrijving geven. Deze kunnen zij uitprinten of bekijken op hun smartphone. De locatie is al opgegeven in Google Maps. Ik klik op 'Routebeschrijving', voer mijn startlocatie in en klik nogmaals op 'Routebeschrijving'. Om de routebeschrijving toe te voegen aan de uitnodiging, klik ik op 'Link' en kopieer ik de link. Deze plak ik in het veld 'Beschrijving'. Ten slot
te voeg ik mijn gasten toe en verzend ik de uitnodiging. Als de gasten de uitnodiging openen in Gmail kunnen ze op de link klikken om de routebeschrijving te bekijken of op 'Kaart' klikken om de kaart te bekijken. Als zij de uitnodiging bekijken in Google Agenda, zien ze dezelfde links. Ook als ze de uitnodiging bekijken op hun smartphone, zien ze dezelfde informatie. Als u een nieuwe afspraak maakt, voegt u dan een kaart en routebeschrijving toe? Uw gasten zullen u dankbaar zijn.

Just watched Apple's keynote for Mavericks and this is a feature between their calendar and maps apps. I thought, oh I bet I can already do this with Google. After searching, this functionality doesn't seem to exist. I still have to do what this video suggests? Seems like it should be super simple to integrate.

Is there any way to control where the map is? Sometimes my location isn't accurate (e.g. if I'm listing room numbers, which would come first) but I can't change the map or remove the map.
The feature being take a map location and easily add it to a calendar event or make an event from a map point without copying and pasting the address.
Is there no integration of Calendar and Maps yet? Simply copy and pasting a link seems a bit archaic. :(

Appears to be useful only if you have the address. GMaps does not have the address for everything. Would be useful if the Longitude and Latitude could be entered.
Checking the address string in Google Maps makes no sense, just put Places Autocomplete there. I'm trying to do that with github.com/meleva/calendarmapper but I still have to figure out how to actually save the value in Google Calendar. Please, help.
This is so old but I cant find another way to ask this: I want to sync Google maps timeline data with Google maps. I need to see my activities, transport time, places visited, imported into a Google calendar. How it is possible that on 2023 this feature doesnt exist. Even daily totals are unavailable, only monthly totals are.
