a world where the playing field is level that is because of other factors that weigh into admissions at higher education institutions you may not be able to talk about race but other experiences could put people at the front of the line there's whether or not someone is an amazing student athlete as a factor there's a connection to the university it's often called legacy admissions as a factor um for some schools major interest is a factor and the scotus decision opened up other avenues like No
rth Carolina House Bill 607 it would prohibit students to speak on beliefs affiliations ideals or principles regarding matters of contemporary political debate or social action as a condition to admission a bill many are watching in a changing field of how a student's experience prepares them for college new bills that kind of bucket and isolate people can just make our work even harder as we try to build um more diverse inclusive communities that really affirm folks um and who they are and who

@BetterTextLex

“It’s hard to picture a world where the playing field is level.” That’s because it doesn’t exist and never will.

@michaelpcoffee

Government has no right to discriminate based on race. That includes government schools. We should abolish all race based government policies.
