me with your family  and your kids you go out with your girlfriends or you're with your significant other you still  need something to wear oh if you are having that stereotypical glamorous over-the-top type  of Valentine's Day where you're on a helicopter you're getting flown out to somewhere I don't know  you're going to dinner you're getting diamonds you are looking for a very beautiful and Glam type  of outfit something like this beautiful red dress um that's little figure hugging this one f

rom  revolve or this one from my Teresa will give you a very similar Vibe or maybe you're looking for  something that has a little bit more feathers so maybe something like this from Bloomingdales or  even this sleeper shirt dress that I showed you guys before in another video um throw on a Blazer  and you have a very similar look to the look that I'm showing you or you kind of want to go kind of  rocker Glam this outfit looks so amazing on her this is so cute I don't know if it's made out  of l

eather or what the metallic pink um is so girly but the biker jacket and the whole outfit  is a little bit more um masculine so I love the Jos between this pink metallic color and the  shape of the outfit this is Glam a little more rocker glam right this is just as Glam but soft  and beautiful I love the use of different color pinks in one outfit I feel like wearing pants on  Valentine's Day is always a great option because usually it's cold where I'm where I'm from where  I live now in New York

it's usually cold and you might not want to wear a skirt right but you  still want to have some Glam so if you want to kind of put Glam and Feathers but also be warm  together I feel like this is a perfect little outfit I love that she just took a suit and it  could have been very corporate right it could have been very I'm going to the office but by  adding this feather top it made it more playful and definitely more Glam if you also notice she  has on some really uh sparkly heart earrings whi

ch also add to the Glam and of course to get  that same look you can do something like these from YSL which I have been looking at forever  I love these so much or you could try these for my Teresa which might be the one she has on this  picture I'm not completely sure or you can save a whole lot of money and try these from revolve  they're gold but they still give a bit of Glam this feather top from revolve looks very much like  what she has on and the suit from mango will give a very similar l

ook her pants are straight leg  we're not going for baggie in this particular outfit feel like this is a great combination of  both clam comfortable and [Music] warm [Music] you are the type of person who prefers a more  casual Valentine's Day but want to be a little Glam in the mix I feel like this outfit is  a perfect little outfit now this I believe is that Zara Blazer that was very popular a  few seasons ago but if you love a little bit of feathers this one is a little more pricey  but absol

utely stunning and this one is from Asos much cheaper but it is a similar vibe she  has on a pair of light washed jeans you know you already have that in your closet then this  beautiful RB hat that matches the Blazer just perfectly still too dressed up for you and you  just want to wear red and pink and some jeans I feel like this outfit is a perfect little outfit  and you can just get a sweater that has pink um and red in it like this one from Bloomingdales  or this one from Asos throw one you

r favorite pair of jeans and you are participating in  a casual Valentine's Day look what I love because it's still fairly cas ual and also kind  of chic so so simple long pink skirt like this one from Asos and a red t-shirt that you might  already have if you don't you can get one from Ralph Lauren you can get one from Asos they  even have one at mango and what I love about what she did with this outfit is that she tied  it up a little bit to make it even more casual throw on your red boots lik

e maybe these from  shits or these from Sam Edelman and you have yourself a look right it's very casual very easy  and even if you don't have all these elements or these colors in your closet if you just have  pink or you just have red use that and play it [Music] up if you are a fashion girly and you are  just going out for Valentine's Day with your friend your significant other red boots can make  everything work and give it a very Valentine's Day look this outfit with the long red boots  and

this beautiful dress it's giving fashion but it's not giving corny right it's not giving  corny Valentine's Day I don't want to say corny I'm themed it's not giving themed Valentine's  Day the same thing with this outfit which is very similar to the first outfit it's still giving  I'm participating in Valentine's Day but I'm not wearing Hearts right I love both of these red  boots really do have um the propensity to make an outfit something don't they like think about it  red boots and a white T

-shirt and jeans red boots and a black skirt right and and a white um collar  shirt red boots really have a lot of power um when it comes to making outfits special outfit is like  the fashion girl of all fashion girls right she has on this oversized red blazer just changing  a bit because Blazers and oversized clothing is shrinking down a bit I'm not saying that that's  what the fast and Forest casters are saying they will be changing but I do love that she has this  really oversized blazer with

a very thin body hugging silhouette underneath she has on these  beautiful rows I'm pretty sure they're Magna blue Trum heels and she looks very fashioned right it  looks like she would be going out with her friends on Valentine's Day with this outfit so for a very  similar look this oversized blazer from boohoo is very similar to what she's wearing this whole  outfit from Asos would look Stellar underneath that Blazer and will give a very similar look and  then as far as those Magna butum heel

s retailers like naked fashion have a very similar look now  they aren't exactly the same but they still give you a very similar [Music] Vibe now if you are  that girl loves a theme you love to stay with the hearts and the pink and the red you could  absolutely do that either go extremely Chic like this I think this is one of the chicest outfits  as far as hearts are concerned right hearts are not necessarily always seen as Chic but this the  way this is done is is definitely in my opinion one o

f the chicest ways or you could be playful  like this and wear a heart jacket and beautiful little hearts on your on your your dress and be  very girly and pretty right and if you want to go this way maybe something like this from Farm Rio  um could be worn if you're in a warmer climate just like this or if you're in a cooler climate  but love a theme and you could wear this with some boots or perhaps a fur coat over it but if you are  more of a city girl like I am who wants to play with hearts

but to keep it pretty streamlined this  is the way to go so this coat is so cute right it gives very much Valentine's Day you can stick with  a pink suit like this from um revolve or maybe a pink skirt suit from mango right very similar Vibe  you looked at this outfit and you realize that even with your debt you still need you still need  a heart coat this one from Asos would give you a very similar Vibe but keep in mind if you already  have a pink suit that's already giving a little bit of Vale

ntine's Day right [Music] so what type  of Valentine's Day do you usually have are you usually at home are you usually glammed and out  how does that usually work for you I live in New York City and Valentine's Day is just Madness I  prefer not to be out there the madness it's a lot of reservation it's it's a lot so I don't usually  do monthly favorites simply because it takes me a while to get to know and love a product and when  I do know that I love it and I didn't do anything crazy then I'll

bring it to you but this month I  do have a few favorites that I want to show you when I was looking through some of the things  that I used in January I was trying to be very specific for it to fit the theme of this video so  I was looking for the things that I use them a lot that were pink and red and I really think that I  did a really good job of using up my pink and my red products you'll see what I mean so this first  thing is this bioio don't despair repair um rice water and protein mois

ture strengthening treatment  you guys if you've been following me I told you that I wanted to try um some of the Kenra products  but I will not start buying those until I am through with my bioio and I have a good bit so I  actually bought this um a little while ago and to be honest I forgot I had it so I started to use it  and you know someone asked me um about or someone commented excuse me and said that my hair was  shiny and I'm wondering if it was because of this again I am not a hair prof

essional so those of you  that are can kind of give me some guidance on this but the only thing I did differently when someone  commented on the shininess of my hair was add this to my regimen again I don't know if that's  what what it is and I do know that rice water um is supposed to have these beautiful benefits for  your hair and yeah I just wanted to mention that just in case that was the culprit if you have been  following me on my journey to kind of use things up before I start buying a w

hole bunch of things  you saw that I have not one but two of these Fenty body moisturizer lotion situations and I wanted  to get through these so bad not because I don't love them because I absolutely do I just want to  get through some so that I have an excuse to buy more so I don't know if you could see but there  is a fairly decent dent in this I don't know if you can tell I have a lot to go I have a lot to  go but when I showed you before this thing was pretty much almost full I have been qu

ite diligent  about using this as much as I can especially after I get out the shower because I like the smell of  this together with this doce and Gabbana fragrance this is a lot I know this is just unne necessary  but because I like the act of getting ready and doing all these things it just it's just fun for  me I love to smell good and feel moisturized I put on like some pajamas after I've absorbed all my  moisture I'm like doing my red light mask or I'm doing my my new face this has been my

go-to um  along with this nuk's body oil now I'm cheating a little bit because I didn't use this the whole  of January it was probably the last two weeks of January if you watched my Paris Vlog or what I got  from Paris you saw that I got one of these and I didn't want to start using it until I finished my  other body oil but I it was just staring me in the face so I started to use it okay but I absolutely  love this as well if I use this I don't use my butter drop I just use my La Ros POS uh l

otion  and then I'll spray this on not needed cuz that lotion is perfect but I like the smell of this  and I like to like put it on my deage I just love it speaking of nighttime routines you guys I don't  know if anyone is still using soap and Glory but I forgot I had this I was looking through one of my  drawers and I forgot that I used to use this all the time back in the day and I loved it so this  is specifically for my heels you put some socks on after you just lather everything on your fee

t  I'm going to finish this let me know if you have any suggestions for a better one to this it could  be highend lowend whatever but because I have this in my possession I'm going to finish this I went  to Disney World with my family um right before Christmas and I forgot some hair stuff like I  forgot all of my hair stuff so I ran to Walmart to see if I can get anything what I can use cuz I  usually have a bit of a hold on my edges but not that much cuz honestly you guys I don't mind if  my ed

ges are a little puffy my hair is is natural I'm black I have puffy hair so that's not that  big of a deal to me but I did want to hold them down a bit and this is just not expensive at all  this is from Kiss it's called The Edge fixer and it's Max hold and let me tell you guys something  if you want to hold down them edges and you do not want to spend a lot of money this is it there's  a lot use in here I think honestly just because I overused it but you really don't need that much  in fact I d

on't use it that often because it holds it holds so well and after I use it I've got to  wash my hair in a day or two because if it's in here it's holding it's not going anywhere and  I don't know how good that is for your edges if I'm being completely honest but if you want a  hold child this will hold your edges and then though I was looking for red and pink um products  this has red in it okay princess says red and I'm going to let it go I am going to say that this  counts this is almost done

I use this so often it's an easy spray it's not overpowering it's at  the edge of my fragrance shelf so I'm often if I'm wunning out the door this is the one I pick up I  can't go through Valentine's day without talking about red lipsticks one of us suggested that I  go through my red lipsticks um and just tell you what my best ones were my favorite ones throughout  um February for Valentine's Day and it it was an absolutely fantastic idea I just didn't have the  time or don't have the time to

do that on camera but I did want to show you the three that I have  been going for the most I've been going through the Dior 999 my favorite and then I've been doing  the lip bar boss lady these are hands down my favorite Guys these are the ones that I've been  wearing the most hle from um Viet I mean that oh wow that one is very pigmented um very similar to  the boss lady one just as beautiful but a little deeper these are my three favorites that I find  um that I am gravitating towards I don't

know if that means I should throw away the other ones  but these are definitely the ones that I wear the most so anyway you guys these are my Valentine's  Day themed January favorites let me know if you have any of these favorites what your favorite red  lipstick is are you wearing red lipstick what your favorite body care is are you using anything for  your edges please if you have any suggestions for a nice foot cream let me know and yeah Guys these  are the favorites and what I've been using

em are Valentine's Day  themed and some of them are not but of course as soon as I found them I bookmark them on my  computer just so that I can show you what I [Music] found every time I travel I'm trying to  figure out how to travel with my fragrances I've never traveled and just bought just one with me  I need options so when I saw this little travel case specifically for fragrances at K I thought  that it was the perfect way to um bring all my options with me it's such a cute little color it

's  very convenient and this way you ensure that your fragrances don't get broken I thought this was  a great [Music] idea now that flats and these little sweet type of shoes are very much on Trend  um I thought that these shoes would continue to be um so expensive but I kind of found them on  satire for much less than they are on the YSL website or on bur dwarfs or any high-end website  they are still expensive absolutely but they are much cheaper here and if you have been looking  at them I fe

el like this is a great time to buy them here are some gems on Etsy that I feel like  I have been missing out on um for example this beautiful cashmere and real fur and I believe  wool coat in this extraordinary color is just to die for if you are a person that loves a little  bit of Glamour this is such a great situation here this goes up to a size 3x I do believe there  are other colors and it is not cheap but it is a decent price compared to other coats of  similar nature I do like that you c

an detach the fur if you you just don't want to do too much  and the days that you want to do all the things add the fback whether you like coach or not it  is undeniable that their comeback has been so amazing starting with the Tabby the puffy Tabby  and going on now to even all types of things I am genuinely impressed with their comeback like  I said whether you're a coach fan or not it is undeniable that they have repositioned themsel in  the market as the place to go for midrange bags so I s

aw this bag and while it is not as big as  the YSL ey care bag it is giving a very similar Vibe I do not think it's leather but I do think  it's cute for those people especially for like students for those people who want a tote bag that  won't break the bank but it's also similar to that YSL bag last video I showed you guys some Tony  Bianco uh sling bags that I see a lot of you have gotten and I'm trying to figure out which color I  need but if sling bags are not your thing I also thought that

these Flats were just as cute flats  are having a huge moment whether you like it or not and if you are somebody who wants Flats but  you don't want them to be um just plain like the totem ones I feel like these are just a really  cute options they are definitely give me proud of Vibes sticking with shoes these gold are also  from Tony biano I think they're just like a staple shoe to have now right with some puddle jeans um  some straight leg jeans some baggie jeans whatever your jean preferenc

e is and then also these from  JW Pi super cute I'm telling you guys the little kitten heel and the pointy toe is the way to go  my feet have been thanking me and then this Coach bag listen I I haven't seen it in person yet  but I have heard so much good things about it it comes in so many different colors obviously  we know it's giving a very strong like Chanel Vibe right and it's coach so I am sure that the  leather is topped here and yeah tell what what you guys think about this bag is it too

much like  a Chanel classic flap and you think it's weird or do you love it because it's affordable and it's  probably very good leather and I am for sure a sucker for a top that shows a little bit of deage  I love the shape of the sleeves on this I love the color I love the shape of the neckline this  is from Urban Revival so you know it's not too expensive I could definitely see somebody wearing  this with jeans or even a beautiful skirt this is very cute very nice for the spring that we will

  be having in a few short weeks so yeah those the few things that I found this week I actually found  some more but didn't have time to put it in this video so you know I will have some great things  in next week's video this video we talked about some fashion icons and then on the Community  page I asked you all who do you think your fashion icons were and what defines a fashion  icon if you're not new here you know I love to do a little research so I did some research and I  wanted to talk mo

re about our fashion icon [Music] so when trying to determine your personal style  and really kind of hone in on what you love I always suggest that it might be a good tool to  look towards the people who you admire as far as fashion goes and we talked a lot about fashion  icons in a previous video and once you find your fashion icon it's a good time to start to take  notes from them not only about what they like um but what makes them an icon and how you can  use that as you develop your own pe

rsonal style but before you do any of that you have to know  what a fashion icon is and I asked this on my Community page a while ago and you guys gave me  some icons and a few you gave me what you think or how you think an icon is developed what  did determines a fashion icon so I did some research and I came across several definitions a  fashion icon or fashion leader is an influential person who introduces new Styles which spread  throughout fashion culture and become a part of fashion a pers

on or thing widely admired  especially for having a great influence or significance in a particular sphere a person or  thing that is very well known as being highly fashionable a fashion icon is someone whose style  is unique can easily be recognized and makes an impact down Trend Setter supermodel or fashion  celebrity with profound influence on style and Trends as we go through this journey of Person of  style I felt like I wanted to find the definition but all of them were kind of the same u

m but  didn't have everything that we talked about and everything that I want in one definition so we  are going to Define it as a Community from those definitions we found out that a fashion icon is  an influential person a fashion icon is a trend Setter a fashion icon is someone style who is  unique a fashion icon style is easy recognizable a fashion icon makes an impact now I left some  space so that we can grow and we could kind of figure this out together but we are going to  use that as a

checklist as we go through a few few of the icons that you mention that you feel  are actually icons we are going to determine if they actually fit the bill are they icons or do  you just like their style today we are going to talk about two different women with completely  different style meged marle and also Salange so let's start with Salange and according to the  checklist the first thing we should look for is is if they are an influential person and in my  opinion Salange definitely has inf

luence in fact there have been articles written about how to get  her style and how to duplicate her outfits I also feel like she had a big push in or big influence  on the natural hair movement whether um you were natural before or after her she definitely had  some influence in that Arena patterns she wore um how she was unapologetically who she was and  almost Regal in a lot of cases and in my opinion I do think that she isn't influential person the  second part on the checklist is a fashion

icon is a trend Setter and I guess I kind of talked  about this from the first one I do believe she was a trend Setter there was most certainly a  rise in natural hair when she was wearing her hair out in puffy even though it wasn't always  her natural hair there was definitely a rise in patterns and wearing bright color and just that  whole vibe that Solange was given so in my opinion I do think she a trend Setter but you let me know  your thoughts the third part on the checklist is is her styl

e unique and I think this is where  it gets interesting because though I do think her style is unique I also feel like she pulled  inspiration from other people maybe not so much other people but definitely an old to Southern um  African-American style she even talked about it well her stylist talked about it in an article  about how when she styled particular song they looked towards African-American southern style  so I guess that's not borrowing from other people more so than it is her cultur

e so I don't know if  it's Unique but it is definitely part that plays um a part that plays in her style her personal  style as it does to a lot of us next part on the check L is that a fashion icon style is easy  to recognize and H I feel like this gets lost or initially when she Salange kind of got bigger her  in my opinion her style was very recognizable um and very particular to her and I still think  that it is and the last on the checklist that we have come up with so far is that an icon m

akes  an impact and while I think that Salange has made an impact I feel like she has made an impact on  um a very Niche group of people whereas somebody like Naomi Campbell um has reached all different  cultures and colors change's style um I don't feel like has that same reach though I love it I don't  know that um has as big of impact as say like I said someone like Naomi Campbell now does the size  of the impact determine if choose an icon or not a fashion icon or not I don't know you let me

know  your thoughts so Megan marle is super duper tricky to paint for so many reasons um whether you like  her or not she does have some influential status Not only was she a successful actor she was also  The Duchess right so those are two positions that give you some influence some influence um in  life so the first part is a fashion icon is an influential person and yeah she definitely has  that the second part though is is Megan Marco a Trends Setter and this was hard for me um because  her

style is very traditional very clean cut um it's beautiful right but is it it anything new  has she set any Trends again I might be wrong um if you are a huge Megan Marco fan or if you  have knowledge that I don't have please let me know but has she set Trends and initially I was  like oh yeah she's totally a trend Setter because people talk about what she wears all the time  um but then I thought about it what trend did she actually set again I might be wrong let me  know then the third one um

is her style unique again I don't think so and I don't think her  style is bad by any means I love that she is clean and classic but is that unique and does that  make her a icon with someone like Princess Diana since we're talking about Royals her style was  unique in that she was bringing a more youthful approach to an otherwise stuffy institution so  she was a Trends Setter in that way Megan marle I'm not 100% sure how that translates again I  think her style is impeccable it's classic but i

s it Fashion Icon status you let me know yeah  I I feel like Mega marker style is very easily recognizable she doesn't do too much again very  clean cut very classy very classic and does her style make an impact and to this I feel like it  does people want to imitate her outfits from head to toe there have been many articles written about  how to get her look so yeah I do think that it is impactful is it unique I don't know I don't think  so does it make an impact absolutely yes so what are your

thoughts about Megan Marco and Solage are  they fashion icons in your opinion or do you just like their style because icon is such a strong  word in my opinion that's that's a big that's a big four little word okay what would you add or  deduct from our checklist and another thing to think about is do you think that the influencers  of our time are able to become fashion icons I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts so  what type of Valentine's Day gal are you what have you found this wee
