I'm here for 3.5 hours. Start now! As you can see, there's no one behind me. There're some people on that side. Oh man, look at the view! This was without a doubt the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen. Even while I'm talking to you iron ore is entering my mouth. I'm having a sore throat & unable to talk. Its around 8:30 pm now and we're entering Mauritania from Western Sahara. Welcome to the most dangerous train journey! This is the world's longest, and heaviest train. This is Nouadhibou's ra
ilway station. People will even take goats on this train. The train has arrived but its so long that it doesn't seem to end. It is 1 pm now & the temperature is about 45 degree. There's no shade anywhere. Its all sunny now! The water was chilled as it was cold at night. The same feels like boiling water now. We've almost reached Zouérat. There're many taxis here for those getting off the train. This is my hotel. Welcome to a new video & it is going to be full of adventure. Where am I? I am in sm
all town called Zouérat. Its a town in Mauritania. Mauritania is a country in North West Africa. Its a dry town with lack of water here. You would know why I'm here from the last videos. The world's longest & dangerous train ride comes to Zouérat. It takes iron ore from here to Nouadhibou which is Mauritania's 2nd largest city. Iron is then exported from Nouadhibou. I came on an empty train to Zouérat. I left day before yesterday and reached here yesterday evening. Its 11 am now. I'll go to thei
r train station now from where with iron ore the train will return to Nouadhibou. I'll get down at Choum on the way which is a small town lying mid way. I'll tell you about it later. It gets so hot in Zouérat but you'll think why I'm wearing black clothes. I've no option as this was the only full sleeve jacket I had. The red t-shirt I wore yesterday is dirty and filled with sand & dust. I had no other option. You've to keep your face & skin covered as the hot winds here are very dangerous for th
e skin. It can cause cuts or nose bleeding or other problems. So, as you can see I've applied sunscreen today. I got this sunscreen in 2020 & was gifted by my subscriber in Dubai. A taxi will be coming to pick me up & I'll buy water & chocolates for the journey. I won't get anything during the journey. There're no hospitals or shops. I'll be travelling midst the Sahara Desert with iron ore. You can see I look fresh right now. When I came in an empty train yesterday I was all covered in dust tha
t'll come off in 2-3 showers. Let's see what my condition is after this train ride. This is my taxi. He was waiting. We've left now! These are some views of Zouérat . Old cars are driven here. Look at their condition. This is still better as compared to the one I came in yesterday. I wanted to get some sack for my bag and I got it here at this shop. He has helped a lot by asking everywhere. I got 2 bags & I'll pack my bags in these. Let's go! These are the petrol pumps in the middle of the road.
Didn't even realize when it got done. I'll get water & chocolates from here for the journey. I've got these things: water, yogurt drinks, & some chocolates. I already have some dry fruits. Will go to the station now. These rocks that you see here are like a blessing for Mauritania. The country's economy majorly relies on these. These are iron ore reserves. Like I said, this iron is exported. They also export fisheries & petroleum. All fishing ports are in Nouadhibou. The main source of their ec
onomy are these iron ore reserves. Without these, the country won't sustain. Railway station is half hour from the city and its already 12 as we were buying things. Train's timing is quite confusing. As per sources, it will leave at 12 from here. I'll have to reach the railway station by 12. Although, we'll be there in 5 minutes. But, its not fixed the train will be leaving at 12 or if it will leave by 1 pm. It is been 50 hours since I left Nouadhibou & have been on this train journey. The train
had to leave at 1 pm that day and I reached the station at 12:30 pm. Train didn't come at 1 or 1:30 pm. Not at 2 pm or 4! Not even at 6 or 9 pm. Not at 10:30 pm but it came at 11:15 pm. From 12 noon to 11:15 pm, I was at Nouadhibou railway station in the middle of the desert. I waited there for the train to come and spent 17 hours on that train. It was super cold at night & was cold enough making it unbearable. It became hot in the noon with the sun right over the head. For now, I'll reach by 1
2 but no idea if the train will leave at 12 or not or in evening, at night or even tomorrow. The adventure is going to be filled with struggle & I'm prepared for whatever happens. This will be the last leg of the train journey After this, I'll complete the iron ore train journey with both an empty and filled train. I think this is the train & I might have to board it from here. This is my train? Yes! Okay! This is the train. There's no one else. Only me. Let's sit on this one. That's your first
time on train? Thank you! Bye-bye. See, there're iron ore bricks in this. This is the station & I'm the only one here. There's not a single person except me. Not a single person! How will I know when Choum comes. Oh god, just save me today. Welcome to the world's longest, dangerous & the heaviest train ride. That wagon seems more empty to me so I'll shift my things there. I can only hope for it to depart on time. Hopefully, what happened in Nouadhibou doesn't repeat as its quite sunny today. Th
ere's no place for me to take shade. Its going to be an adventure today. Each wagon has over 84 tons of iron ore in the form of brick or powder. There're over 200 wagons attached to it. A single train has over 16,800 tons of iron ore in total. The amount of iron ore this train has can be used to make 2.5 Eiffel tower. There's so much iron! I think to do this adventure, you don't need a lot of things but just some physical fitness & courage and a lot of patience. Its over 2 days since I started t
his journey and I don't know when I'll reach my destination. You can't do this without patience as the train has no timing. No idea if the train will stop or leave. You won't know where it will stop. You'll get anxious without patience. You'll get anxiety. You'll be travelling midst the Sahara desert with no hospital or shop in sight. You'll be in trouble as soon as you lose your patience. You can do this easily if you have patience. I was prepared for this journey with patience which is why I'm
able to do it & think I'll be able to complete it too. There's no track of time here. with no idea of what can happen. It can be super hot or super cold. But, everything will pass. Somehow the time will pass with the night turning into day. Everything will pass if you are patient. The last time, there was sand all over me but we've played in sand all our life. Now , I'm around iron ore but we're around metal in gym. So, don't stress about it much. The more you get scared of being in Sahara dese
rt or about something happening. We don't have to this everyday but only once in life. Nothing will happen, just stay relaxed. What is the worst that can happen? I already have food & I can sustain on it for only 2 days. If anything happens, I know I'll be able to find help. So, I am relaxed. I'm sitting here under the sun since 45 minutes and it doesn't seem to start anytime soon. Its 1 pm now. Its past 1 pm actually. All I can do is just hope as this isn't in my control. Not sure if you are ab
le to see it or not but these silver particles are Iron Ore. I can clearly see them with naked eye but not sure if you see it on camera. I can even see them in the air around. I'm thinking how harmful it is when it enters body through nose See it is so much! For those who do this regularly, it is very unhealthy & harmful. See, an engine is coming. I think this will be attached to this train. I'm sitting right at the front of the train. The engine is being attached here. There're wagons back ther
e, if you see. I think they'll attach more wagons to it. I've been lying here in the sun for the last 45 minutes just like a dead body. Its so problematic in the sun. Just start now! You know what I hope! I press a button and this wagon gets covered & form a cabin with a lot of ACs in it that start on their own. These iron ore pieces convert into a bed. A luxury bed with a mattress and pillows Time to time drinks get served. Chilled lemonade! I drink lemonade & as Choum is near, I press the but
ton for it to reopen and I get down from the train. But this isn't going to happen. I have to sit here in the sun now. The wind started to blow as soon as I started the video. Feels so better! I can't do anything. You must be wondering what am I saying & if I have gone mad lying here in the desert. But I am getting bored. I am passing time talking like this or by saying what comes to mind. I will be bored if I do not record this. What else can I do! I'll enjoy now. I feel bad for these shoes. I
always wanted to get these Nike Air Max 90 but I never had money during college time. These are very old shoes. I always wanted to get them. I didn't get my size in India & they costed for about ₹12,000. It was a dream as I couldn't afford them. But I got them from Germany as I earned some money from your support. They have to be in this condition now in Sahara Desert. No worries, I'll buy other shoes. Oh man, see this. This is the empty train in which I came yesterday. Nouadhibou, 2nd largest c
ity of Mauritania receives iron ore from this train and it will leave again with iron ore. Keep counting! So many wagons have already passed. and just keep watching as this doesn't seem to end. The train came here at 2:21 pm and its 2:27 now. The train hasn't passed by in 6 minutes even when its moving and not stationary. Its 3 pm now and I've come way too early today. This car just arrived & is loading luggage onto the train. They might be taking stuff to Nouadhibou. On touching my hands burn a
s if its melting hot metal. Getting down is also a challenge. I've been here since 3.5 hours! See, a loaded train has come. Will this get attached to this! Yes, it seems so. See this has just iron ore in powder form while this has a mix of bricks and powder. What have people even done! I thought I'm in the front of the train but it just passed ahead and this compartment will shift behind. This is joining in the front. People are praying here...they're very religious. They pray 5 times in a day a
s per the timings. That train stopped there & this compartment will be attached to it. See this! It got attached & gave a jerk. It can start anytime soon. The shopkeeper gave me a chilled water bottle the others were a little less cold. I just drank water from this & felt I'm drinking boiling water. It was too hot. Don't know about the other bottles, though. Finally, the train moved. See! Its moving hence its being pulled from front. As you saw its too heavy and long There's over 1000s tons of i
ron in it and then their train's own weight Its taking time for the engine to pull it. Its hardly moving . It'll pick up speed in a while. As I said, this train is important for them so repair work for the line happens non-stop. If the track breaks through the economy will come to a standstill. Iron ore transportation will also stop. They fix or repair that instant & timely. As you can see, this old railway track is kept on side after repairs. Dismantled or dysfunctional cargos are kept on the s
ide. See some more! See some more! See behind me mining work is being done. These rocks... Cars have stopped as there was a railway crossing here. That was a railway crossing. There's iron ore on both sides and train is passing through them from this passage. See, there's no behind me. There're some people sitting ahead. Oh, look at the view. Its been 5 minutes since the train started & all my clothes, phone even mobile's charging jack is filled with iron ore and sand. There's so much iron ore a
nd sand in the air. I can't even explain! Mauritania is a desert just like this and can be called the most Saharan country as more than 90% of its land is just desert. The train is giving jerks as soon as brake is applied. They lack water. They share Senegal river in south with Senegal. The majority of population doesn't live here but lives towards the south. This area is all deserted. Mauritania has an area of over 10 lakh km sq. with just a population of 44 lakh. Just 44 lakh people live in su
ch a vast area. Hence, Mauritania is among one of the densely populated countries in world. In fact, its also among world's least visited countries. Hardly any tourists come here because of the extreme conditions here and there's not a lot for them to do here. Talking of the train's speed its less than when it was empty. Nobody else could see. Good that I wasn't on the edge At the speed right now I can stand and maintain balance with ease. But I have to be cautious as if I were to fall due to an
imbalance I might get injured or even die. You might think I am exaggerating but even while talking to you iron ore is entering into my mouth. I have a sore throat and I'm having difficulty speaking. My face is covered still iron ore is entering my eyes, nose & mouth. I could've got down at Choum while coming from Nouadhibou instead of coming here till Zouérat. Or I had come to Zouérat in an empty train so this leg of journey wasn't important. I could've directly left for ahead. I've to go to t
heir capital Nouakchott. I thought to do the entire journey and didn't get down at Choum but came to Zouérat & saw their mining town. Now, I'm going back in this train filled with iron ore. I'll remember this adventure for lifetime. No doubt, I got troubled since last 2.5 days and will get even more now. These 3-3.5 days will be full of problems but I'll remember this adventure for lifetime. I'm not sure, when this train will be stopped or made strictly illegal, or ride on this gets banned espec
ially for tourists. I'm having fun although its challenging. Its full of fun. When will I have another chance to travel through the Sahara desert in a train which is world's heaviest, longest & is considered the most dangerous too. Amazing! I think I woke up at 9 am and its 5 pm now. I've had 3 litres of water since morning. Or I would've had more definitely not less. I went to the washroom just once & didn't need to go to the washroom after that. I think all the water's turning into sweat. I'm
still feeling thirsty I'll drink water. Not sure why, but I don't feel the need to go to the washroom. I've a magnetic wireless charger behind my iPhone so iron ore gets attracted & stick to the back side. It gets stuck again as I take them off. I slept for about 45 minutes and I woke up to such beautiful views. There's a bit of greenery... Compared to the desert, this does looks like greenery. What else do we have! Sunset is happening and hence such beautiful views. I'm not lying or exaggerati
ng for the Youtube video. I'm genuinely enjoying it. This looks beautiful, right. There's also a road on the side. Just a narrow road! I didn't see any other road on the way. Look at this! The sunset will be the best part of the day. People do live here. Just a bunch of houses. These people would be having a great life. They live in privacy, isolated from the rest of the world. This place on Google maps is a small settlement called Twajeel. We're either already there or on our way. There's not
much here. Just 1-2 houses in the name of a town and I didn't see anything else yet. Its around 6 pm now and sunset will happen in about 30 minutes. I finally went to the washroom too. And ... I start coughing as I speak as Iron ore enters into the mouth. I had to become tricky and smart. I had the empty bottle of yogurt drink I purchased as I knew it would come to use later on. So, I used that silently and then disposed of the bottle. I should've not thrown it as its plastic but I did & I'm sor
ry. This train is a bit lifted due to iron ore but as I said, the one I came in was quite down. During the afternoon, I don't need to go to the washroom Day before yesterday in the train I was shivering in cold and felt the need to go to the washroom. But, I couldn't do anything on a moving train. So, I had an extra bottle with me & I used it. I felt better after that. So, if you do this journey carry 2-3 empty bottles with you it will help you a lot. This is the best part of the day till it get
s dark or sunset happens. I wish to enjoy this part instead of sleeping. Without a doubt this is the best sunset of my life. In the middle of the desert I am on this comfortable bed made by me. I'm enjoying the sunset sitting here. Look at the colors of the sky behind. This is how it looks all around. Its so beautiful! Just saw the sunset & enjoyed it. It will get dark soon. These are some views before it gets dark. Let's enjoy this journey and reach our destination: Choum. Its 7:45 pm now. I ca
n see the stars clearly already. I'm lying down, closing my eyes, or watching the stars. I'm enjoying the views. Interestingly, my Morocco's sim card is in my phone and is receiving network. This is because we are close to Western Sahara. We're heading to Choum has a Choum tunnel which isn't functional yet. So, train pass through Western Sahara. Although this region of Western Sahara is Polisario-controlled region. Polisario is the opposition force to Moroccan government controls this area. So w
e are passing through Western Sahara. We are coming to South from North. Then after a while, we'll be moving in East to West direction or towards Nouadhibou. Its 8 pm now and we'll reach Choum within an hour. I should pack my stuff because if I leave behind anything then I won't ever get it back. I'm unsure of how long train will stay there and if I'll get time or not. And its already very dark! It'll be better if I pack things up. We've officially come out of Mauritania and this is Western Saha
ra's territory. We're officially out of the country. The train is passing through Western Sahara now. Like I told you, this region or south of Western Sahara came under Mauritania's control due to which Polisario attacked these tracks. Power was transferred with president's removal and this region was given back to Western Sahara. This region can't be called of Morocco but of Western Sahara as this area isn't controlled by Morocco but of Polisario forces. I am already too black & then this blac
k iron ore is all over my face. If by chance, I'm not visible in the video then the darkest spot in this video is me. That light shining there is Choum. Train will stop anytime soon. Let me get the other bags. Come! *chanting God's name* *chanting God's name* This one is the heaviest. Don't know how heavy it is! Maybe 15-20 kgs. I'm not wanting to make a mistake if I do, the whole trip will come to fail. Everything has been good so far. I hope nothing bad happens in the end. This is my blanket.
Let me see if anything is left behind. Oh man! I won't need it now. Whoever needs it will pick it up. Oh man! Honestly, I feel like the king of the world and this is my private train as I don't see anyone else. There are cars here on the station. These people will board the train. Oh man! So many more people. Wow! Not sure if you saw it. The train is stopping now. Its getting noisy. I'm too far from the station. I was at the end & the train is so long. I'll have to walk a few km to the station.
See, people are running towards it. Yes, friend. Yes! Oh man! I've to get down from here with all these things. There's no one to help. *Chanting the lord's name* I'm done for today. I'll keep this here first. If it falls, it will be a problem. It has all the things like laptop, etc. Don't feel like leaving it like this. It fell! Someone come and help me. I'm done for. Now its my turn. Come! Did it tear open? I got down from the train. I'll organise the stuff as I won't be walk like this. If som
eone tries to rob me, I'll have to run. I've unpacked the bags. I can people's voices from nearby. Don't know who it is. I'll wash my hands and throw this bottle. I want to carry minimum weight with me. I'm a km away from the station as I saw on maps. I'll need light to see the route. I'm ready with my bags on my shoulders. And... I'm unsure on how long it will take with the bags. I'll have to be cautious as its a sandy & rocky route It will take at least 15-20 minutes to reach the station. I'll
keep the phone inside & go to the station. The train began its journey again. Goodbye to a beautiful journey. This will take hours to move. I'll also get going. If someone gets down on the wrong side of the road they'll have to wait 5-7 minutes to cross the road. Just so amazing! The train just passed by from the side. Before getting down, I saw people from the train then some even had goats and camels to take along with them. I saw them on that side before I got down. They were boarding camels
on the train. There's no space for a man inside as it was filled with heaps of iron ore. I faced trouble getting up or down How do people manage to take camels on this. Interesting! Help has come for me. I'll tell you. Here it is. Hello! Hello brother, how are you? How're you doing? I'm good, how are you? How are you! Hey, thank you for coming. How are you? Where can I put the bags? Are they dirty? No, they were in a plastic wrap. Thank you so much. So, how was the train ride? Oh, it was so mu
ch fun. Okay! But, I think it was easier than I was expecting it to be. It was easier than I expected. But it was so much fun, very adventurous. Once-in-a lifetime experience! So, Mohamed came to pick me up who runs a tour company here called time4mauritania. I spoke to him on WhatsApp & he kept updating me about the train. I told I'll be coming to Choum today and fortunately he was also here so he came to pick me. This is the only place here & I would've not been able to find it. I'm here to sp
end the night. Its about 9-9:15 pm. Wow! Lovely! I'll be spending the night here... Which bed? This one or this one? There was no accommodation in Choum before this or there was no place for tourists to stay at. But this... also this isn't sponsored. I'm telling it for you all. What will I even charge from them. He came to pick me up. The accommodation is currently being constructed. I'll show it properly in morning. Its being developed. There's common shower & bathroom that side & some huts thi
s side. I'll go and show it to you once. And for this... Here's the shower. You can take a shower here after the train ride. Its quite nice, considering this place. It looks nice and is new too. This is the washroom. People had no choice to stay in Choum before but to go to Atar which is a big city nearby. One can get a taxi to Atar from Choum which is about 120 km & takes 3-4 hours. One had to spend the night there or sleep at the road. This is nice . I didn't expect such a place to exist here
but Mohamed picked me up & brought me here. It is still under construction for now. There's electricity till 12 only. I've about 2 hours to charge my phone. They're preparing to install solar panel & will be ready in a week. By the time the video goes live, this will be all ready. I'm paying 500 Ouguiya ($12.60) for this which is around ₹1000-1100. I'm the only tourist here as its still under construction and I've got this room all to myself with 2 beds here. One bed costs 500 Ouguiya ($12.60) e
xclusive of food charges. But they said the meal is on them today because I've come when its still under process The food will be ready in a while. I'll put my phone on charging. The journey was smooth and I had fun. It was once in a lifetime experience. If you ask me, if I'll do this again then I can surely do it. I won't mind doing it again but only if I have a company this time. Overall it was good and luckily no mishap happened with me. I didn't get robbed or lose something. Didn't get injur
ed or fell sick. Don't know about tomorrow but its been perfect till now. I'll freshen up, have food and rest now. I'll meet you tomorrow & will head to Nouakchott which is Mauritania's capital city. Here's my food. Spaghetti with chicken! This is a chilly sauce. I'll eat this and sleep. Goodbye!

You are really a gutsy fellow. I was in Noudhibou in 1987 loading iron ore on a ship. We used to load 100,000 tonnes for Belgium. Ship was covered with 1 foot of iron ore dust. Used to take 2 days to clean the ship . We were on duty during loading and our skin used to bleed with multi cuits from iron ore dust.
