Ambient.ai + LenelS2 OnGuard Access Control Integration

See how Ambient.ai, the AI & computer vision physical security platform, integrates with LenelS2's access control system. Ambient surfaces urgent incidents that require attention — including many that cannot be detected by access control systems — while automatically deprioritizing less urgent alarms in real time. Hello, I'm Rodaan from Ambient.ai, the AI-powered Computer Vision physical security platform. Ambient has built API integrations with all the major access control systems. These integrations provide significant improvements to enterprise security workflows by equipping security teams with automated AI-powered threat detection and response capabilities, as well as our patented signals intelligence product, which auto-acknowledges and clears thousands of false positive PACS alerts that operators r
eceive. In this video, I'll be demonstrating Ambient's integration with Lenel OnGuard. You'll see me switching back and forth between the Lenel OnGuard and Ambient products as I simulate two different door force open scenarios. In the first scenario, I'll simulate a false door forced open alarm where Ambient will detect the false alarm generated by Lenel OnGuard access control system. In the second scenario, I'll simulate a real door force open alarm that Ambient auto-detects and raises to the s
ecurity team. So let's begin with the first scenario. I'm going to show you the security camera that the applicable reader is attached to. As you can see, there is nobody here on the video stream and nobody will be forcing these doors open, but an alarm will still be triggered anyway. When I simulate this door force open incident in the Lenel OnGuard product, Ambient immediately consumes that alarm event and begins validating it by running AI-powered computer vision models on the applicable vide
o stream as the event is happening. In other words, it's like having an always-on operator who can auto-acknowledge and auto-clear thousands and thousands of access control alarms the moment they're fired. As you can see, Ambient has temporarily marked this alarm as pending while it validates if this is real or not. This status is also pushed into Lenel OnGuard where it is marked as in progress. Now, you'll notice Ambient has auto-cleared the alert because our AI was able to detect that no peopl
e were present in the applicable camera stream when this alert was triggered. In fact, the AI would also see the door remain closed at the time this alert was triggered. So this is clearly not something that needs to be raised to the security team. Ambient still logged the event and provided a reason why it was auto cleared. All this information and more is also tracked in our analytics dashboard, which helps teams measure their security system performance. Now let's look at the second scenario
in which a real door force open incident occurs. First, I'll simulate the door force open alert in Lenel OnGuard. Next, what you'll see is our AI consumes the alert, analyzes the footage, recognizes the incident, and raises the alert within the Ambient product in real time. Ambient AI-powered Computer Vision Intelligence cuts out all the noise produced by false alarms while automatically surfacing real incidents in real time. This allows your team to become more proactive and efficient at threat
detection and risk mitigation. If you want to learn more about how we're leveraging advanced AI technology to help Fortune 500 companies significantly improve their security operations, please visit our website at Ambient.ai or reach out to sales@ambient.ai. Thanks!
