they're cookie cutter life and for for good reasons because it made them want to look within themselves so they decided to move off the grid but they took their problems with them so the American dream turns out is not for everybody and instead they end up in a U.S government standoff uh so much for a history lesson there right okay so so here's the deal here's what I love about this film because it's we see it's a family situation on screen but off screen it's also family affair because you hav
e relatives working with you oh my goodness it's really married to somebody so the my husband who co-wrote and co-directed it with his long-term partnership deach and then my husband's brother plays my husband and they're like uh husbands also in their partnership you know writing for the last 10 years and making movies so everyone's related my sister is in the movie as well the wonderful Angelina Jolie Mahendra uh so it's been very supportive my I play Alice Hayes she's um former public school
teacher who is a really fun-loving mother who suffers from mental illness so it's been really wonderful to have two husbands on set to just support me too right because you have your family there with you so you're here you're playing this character on here which I'm sure people are gonna get to love because whatever it is you do people get attached to the characters you play whether it's on the Americans or The Walking Dead and it's just incredible so what so how how do fans react to you becaus
e I told you I know you're from the romanovs I remember you I've said the romanovs everyone has something some of my state fathers too we just never know so which which of them has like the craziest most die-hard fans who think your character should be doing something she's not or has something to say about the roles you play I'd say The Walking Dead they really you know Hawk was uh something and I was really sad to see her go spoiler I think everyone's caught up those fans yeah they watched it
already and funny enough no one spoiled the Americans for me yet see because people are because people can be good yeah just don't go online just don't go online because some of them might spoil it tell myself but but they've been so kind to me okay so speaking of speaking of the Americans The Walking Dead your recent movie which is why you're here manifest West has You Off the Grid we saw you homeschooling your kid in that clip you so which means of the grid meaning no outside world situation s
