Welcome to our channel SJ Movies Recap. Today  we will explain the story of Hollywood's superhero movie "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom",  released in 2023. It is the sequel to Aquaman, 2018, and stars Jason Momoa as Arthur  Curry or Aquaman, alongside Amber Heard, and Nicole Kidman. Lets go further  and start explaining the plot. After ruling Atlantis for four years, Arthur  Curry, now king, has married Mera and they have a son named Arthur Jr. He lives in the lighthouse of  his father Tom and di

vides his time between living on land and in the sea. Despite the importance  of his diplomatic and bureaucratic royal duties, Arthur finds them boring. He frequently  clashes with the Atlantean council, especially regarding his desire to establish  contact between Atlantis and the surface world. Meanwhile, David Kane, also known as Black  Manta, remains determined to avenge his father's death by collaborating with marine  biologist Stephen Shin to locate Atlantean artifacts. on in Antarctica,  Shin accidentally fall under the ground. Where he and his companion attacked by a giant monster.  Shin's companion got killed by that monster came from a cave. Manta came there in search  of his missing team and found hidden Shin. They headed inside cave with whole team and found  a huge lake there. Manta and team dive into it, where some old structure of some  lost kingdom found. Same monster attacked them but on reaching ground of  lake, Manta found a broken but powerful Bla

ck Trident. As Manta hold it and try  to combine, he got some powers and saw visions of its owner. Who promises that if  David helps his Atlantean tribe recover, David will receive the power he desires to  destroy Aquaman, his family, and his kingdom. Five months later, the impacts of  global warming have intensified. The surface climate is facing extreme weather  conditions, and ocean acidification is leading to diseases among the sea population.  Manta launches an attack on Atlantis, breaking

into its Orichalcum reserves. He intends  to steal the Orichalcum to power ancient Atlantean machines, whose design remains unknown to modern  Atlanteans. However, they are discovered midway, leading to a pursuit by Atlantean forces.  In the ensuing battle, Mera is injured. Reuniting with his mother Atlanna and Mera's  father Nereus, Arthur learns that David is responsible for the escalating temperatures. David  targeted all the concealed reserves of orichalcum, a substance that emits large amou

nts  of greenhouse gases. In the past, its use by an ancient Atlantean kingdom  had nearly caused a planetary extinction. To know Black Manta's location, Arthur  decides to pursue one of David's ex-allies, his half-brother Orm Marius. Orm is imprisoned  by the Fisherman kingdom for killing their king in a desert. Arthur plans and executes a  prison break to free his half-brother Orm from prison. Together, they go to a pirate  refuge known as the Sunken Citadel and meet with Kingfish to gather in

formation about  Manta's location. Kingfish refuses to tell anything about Manta but Arthur fight with his  guards and threaten him to kill. Due to which Kingfish gave them details, which lead them  to a volcanic island in the South Pacific. Arthur and Orm send an octopus to Atlantis  with coordinates and head toward the deep forest of island. Arthur and Orm discover  monstrous plants and animals in deep down forest that had been mutated by an orichalcum  furnace where Black Manta's base is loca

ted. They successfully reached the base of Manta and  engage in a battle against Manta's forces. Then Manta arrived there and fight with Arthur  and Orm. Manta with great power of Black Trident injured Orm and nearly killed  Arthur but Mera reached there to save him. Manta and team ran from there in there  machine as Atlantis forces arrives there. Before all this, Orm hold and try to combine the  Black Trident, revealing visions of its origin. He discovers that the trident was crafted by  Kordax

, who is brother of Atlantis founder King Atlan and once ruled the lost kingdom of  Necrus. Kordax was imprisoned in an icy prison through blood magic of Atlan after a failed  attempt to seize the throne. Orm realizes that the blood of any of Atlan's descendants  can release Kordax, which David want. So they all got tense by realizing that Arthur and Orm  is not the last bloodline of Atlan. On other hand Manta lead to attack Tom Curry's lighthouse  and kidnap Arthur Jr. On reaching Tom's house,

he found injured and Arthur Jr. being missing.  Everyone was in an anger and intense for the safety of Arthur Jr. Shin don't like the idea  of Manta to destroy world and kill a little kid, so he send there location to Arthur, which  is situated in Antarctica. Arthur, Orm, Mera with forces and alias of Atlantis headed  toward that location which is Necrus' prison. Manta lead towards the throne of Kordax where he  imprisoned with Shin and Arhtur Jr. Atlanteans have to face Kordax's monstrous force

before  reaching to Manta. Manta asked Shin to give him Arhur Jr., so he can kill him and awake Kordax.  Shin gave him a bomb instead of baby, which blasts but Manta survive. Shin try his hard to save  baby from Manta but Manta succeed in getting baby. As Manta going to kill baby, Arthur reached  there and they both encounter a dangerous fight. Manta is going to kill Arthur but Mera arrives to  rescue him. Manta hurls the Black Trident at Mera and baby, but Orm intervenes, catching it just in 

time. The spirit of Kordax, previously with Manta, transfers to Orm. Orm, now possessed, fights  Arthur and uses his blood to release Kordax. Arthur manages to convince his brother to let  go of his hatred and destroy both Kordax and the Black Trident with his own Golden Trident.  As Kordax's magic vanishing, Necrus begins to collapse. As Manta hangs from a fissure, he  refuses Arthur's help and throws himself down the cliff to his death. The Atlanteans and Shin  escape to safety, and Arthur and

Mera decide to let Orm go and tell the rest of Atlantis that  he died, on the condition he remains hidden. Recognizing the need for unity between  underwater kingdoms and the surface to prevent further harm to the oceans, Arthur  makes a significant announcement at the United Nations. He reveals the existence  of Atlantis and expresses his intention to make the kingdom a member state, emphasizing the  importance of collaboration for the greater good.
