the Christian faith this uh eternal life is not for everybody only to those who cry out to you repent of their sins and then come to you they will have eternal life the others will be judged to Eternal condemnation thank you father in Jesus name amen amen the speech or sermon was focused on the fact that the transgender day of visibility fell on Easter Sunday this year which Diaz blamed on President Biden who had nothing to do with it but it was one of the reasons why it was quickly condemned by
house Democrats and the transgender Community I would like our body to stop weaponizing religion to condemn our constituents and I want to remind members of this body that this is not a church and it was watched with more than a passing interest by Tucson Democratic representative and min Stephanie stall Hamilton who last year was censured by the Republican majority for hiding the Bibles which are placed very visibly in the house lounge frustrated and angry and and you know and most people know
that I ran on a platform of talking about the separation of church and state and and people questioned whether or not I would be willing to uphold that because I am an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church stall Hamilton says she has and her Bible hiding was meant to show how the lines between church and state have blurred at the state house and this latest episode is proof and justifies her actions it's not about vindication it's about we need to have a serious conversation about the wa
ys in which Christian nationalism is seeping into our government business stall Hamilton was caught hiding the Bibles because the house leadership secretly installed hidden cameras in the lounge to catch her that she says overshadowed her intent I will go back and say um yes what I did caused a spark but I will also say the thing that people focused on was not the separation of church and state instead people focused on her act of hiding the B Bibles but as more incidents come to light her day o
