t your personal details and it's just to say um also that my policy here if you need to read it that i keep everything confidential only pass on information if you want me to and by your say so now idea to all the regulations so if you could just fill that out for me please no no no that's science and if like if you're um for a legal guardian or pressure on anything that's great thank you okay so usually i ask people you know what can i do to help you why have you come to see me today yeah so ma
inly it's right now my main health concern is fatigue like quite bad fatigue i've never had before um it's a recurring problem it doesn't seem to be getting better and how long has this been going on since about uh april like early may i didn't know yeah i did have covered in april but i'm still not entirely sure if it's inked or anything but yeah and how was the covey tower did you have it it wasn't awful um i had a temperature and big headaches or throats or nose but i didn't lose my taste or
anything um yeah and just lay in bed for about like five six days that yeah it seems to have been worse after it almost was at the time did you get any muscle ache no so when i actually had covered i didn't um but i've had them since which was quite mainly my legs any cramps not really no and how long after um the muscle pains were about a month ago when they were happening quite frequently mainly at night and i just couldn't sleep um but i haven't actually had them in the last few weeks okay go
od yeah it seems to be like a like a little symptom roulette coming on at random times and the fatigue is that throughout the day or is it certain times in the coming waves waves yeah ways of good work yeah it's quite sudden often after i've done quite a big walk or something maybe just get really really worn out whereas before i'd be fine um but most of all in the evening after the day where i've done a lot of activity just very very trained and i was never like that before so yeah and again an
y other muscle pains or aches sometimes chest pain okay and how long does that last for the chest pain it's more just like yeah it's like a slight pain but then it goes it's not like lengthy or anything yeah and the fatigue afterwards how long does that last until you actually go to bed or did it last all evening yeah so i sleep it off and then it's there once i slept okay until like the next wave i guess yeah and how is your sleep generally my sleep is actually really good yeah i over eight hou
rs most days and yeah sleep pretty early and yeah what time do you just tend to go to bed as early as i count after like half 10 or 11. and what time do you wake up half seven okay so yeah i'm in bed by half ten eleven i don't know if i'm actually asleep or not but yeah yeah usually aim to get about eight hours okay and do you wake up quite refreshed uh yeah yeah in the morning sounds alright and do you wake up in the night at all uh a few times yeah just to go to the toilet and stuff okay do yo
u notice you if you wake up more or less the same time um i've never really checked um i think it's usually like mid it seems like 2 a.m or 3 a.m i think okay i'm not entirely sure and you can you get that sleep okay afterwards yeah yeah straight away okay so when you so just keep going so say like you know you've had a full day at work so you go home do you just instantly have to go to sleep do you like sit down and think oh god you know yeah that's about it yeah how long do you sleep for so if
yeah i'll be in bed like lying there kind of on my phone ready to go to sleep and then when it gets to like 10 30 30 or 11 i will just sleep oh so you don't have a nap before you go to bed no okay i'm just lying there on my phone or just like not moving yeah okay and any other symptoms um i think that's about it yeah and that's it okay so i've just asked you a bit about your medical history um have you had any major recurrent illnesses such as asthma you know hay fever eczema hey people are get
ting summer but it's not very severe have you had the usual childhood diseases chickenpox mumps measles yes oh yeah i believe i've had i definitely had chicken butt fox as a kid and yeah okay have you had any um hospitalization surgeries at all no and generally what's your health like generally like other than this and before this it's pretty normal okay uh so can i talk about have you had the javital the covered yeah i think like all three yeah i had the two and then the booster okay which ones
did you have do you know all times oh yeah actually i occasionally do get some slight temperatures as well sorry to mention that but they're very very low grade temperatures i just seem to be prone to getting like overworked and a bit hot quite easily recently okay very low grade like 38.5 or something or four so okay 38 37 37.5 sorry that's very different and does that usually happen um after like lots of activity yeah yeah often after my lunch break or when i've got home okay are you on any m
edication no you're taking any supplements yeah i'm going to take you vitamin d and then also just like gut health supplements so that health health which which one's what like probiotics yeah yeah i can't really remember the brand though okay that's right and you take them daily weekly because they're on my desk at work so when i remember at work i take them very often skip them all the weekends okay and the same with the vitamin d yeah my bad habits coming out any other vitamins or anything no
it's just these ones okay and you know what the vitamin d is in the iu three thousand yeah um is there any family history of diabetes cancer disease yes my gran and my aunt is this on your mother's side or your father's side your mother's side is that type one or two do they have um the one that like comes on in and your parents are they still alive are they healthy do you have any brothers and sisters yeah i've got a younger brother and is he okay healthy yeah yeah okay okay do you drink any a
lcohol not really at all no i used to when you say not really what do you when do you drink or how much i i literally if maybe if someone's got a glass i'll have a sip to try and that's it i just don't drink it okay do you smoke at all any recreational drugs no i have to ask caffeine you take caffeine not coffee now i have green tea that's got cabbage yeah yeah okay how many green teas do you have probably four cups a day okay a green tea addict um and you exercise no not not at all really just
commuting that's about it okay and how do you relax do you relax editing videos or sometimes reading when i'm commuting i like to read and watching netflix i guess okay and how's your mood your temperament you quite balanced person or do you tend to go up and down pretty balanced yeah okay good and you get um anxious about things um maybe i don't know i feel like does mind chatter and stuff come without justice i feel like what do do you worry about things does it bother you um no i'm just proba
bly always thinking about like the next schedule or the next appointment but not in an act i'm not like worried about it yeah yeah yeah and that's fine mind chatter yeah it's you know lots of people get it but if it's if it actually bothers you and you you you like your focus on it and then you like become fixated on it and think and you know start to get tense and worry about it okay now you're just just sorting your life out yeah just always yeah okay and how's your memory decent yeah okay and
um how do you respond to stress okay do you let it out do you talk to someone or do you tend to internalize it i probably talked to someone too yeah i just offload on to everyone i think good and how's your energy at the moment pretty low okay so on a scale of one to ten ten being really energetic where do you fit yourself well okay especially this week have you had a busy weight okay and stress index as well as your stress levels one to ten ten being really stressful five five yeah five or six
is your job stressful um it is right now it comes in waves um but depending on the time of year right now it's suddenly quite stressful all right so um do you get any chest pains yeah how often um it's actually been a lot less frequent recently certain extent of even maybe once a week right now so not at all and it's always in the same place yeah it's always like around here on the left hand side okay and do you get any wheezing shortness of breath yes and palpitations no and how long have you
had the chest pains again since like april okay yeah that i've been aware of it at least it's been since about then yeah yeah yeah okay have you been to the doctors at all about it or anything yeah i actually i had a chest scan and there was nothing um i always had a blood test nothing came up and an easy tea yeah yeah so so far it's like all healthy do you get carbs and infections easily of course i catch colds quite easily do you suffer from cold hands and feet yes in especially like in winter
yeah really poor circulation do your fingers go white at all um i don't think so but i do lose like the feeling in them yeah okay any problems with your sinuses you throw your ears no um how's your appetite do you have a healthy appetite yeah yeah ate it and how do you feel if you actually miss a meal hungry does it irritate you does it annoy you do you feel sick or does it just not bother you um i think it depends on like what i've had for the last meal maybe how sustaining that was um but i c
an survive it like i can sometimes if i'm if i was working from home i could quite easily miss breakfast okay do you get any reflux at all acid reflux and after eating clothes any bloating uh depending on what i eat yes do you know what type of food scoops you blow to like often like restaurant stuff like thai food or like anything with lots of garlic and stuff so spicy food yeah but i still eat it but the thai food's nice is it any indigestion can i any nausea or vomiting after eating do you ge
t suffer from gas wind just going back to your sleep um do you suffer from any night sweats at all do you dream yes do you dream vividly i don't usually remember them that often so i'm not sure some people do some people don't okay so there's nothing unusual about it i never knew what the correct answer is some people just you know they claim they never dream because they never remember them yeah and other people yeah they just said oh my god yeah like it's like a you know a film or something so
you know but everyone's different so don't worry about it do you know if you dream in black and white or color i think it's color the times i have like remembered often if it comes up in conversation i'm like oh i think i dreamed about that i think it was color do you suffer from any headaches yes occasionally yeah okay and where where abouts and there do you get them the front and then the eyes often okay often it's either pressure headache so like before a storm or just like eye strain what t
ype of headache is it like a throbbing or is it a dull ache or a sharp pain dull and how long do they usually last for um not usually more than a few a couple of hours any migraines no i don't think so and how often do you get them um [Music] recently not that often so one maybe once or twice a month actually yeah do you notice if it's around the time of your period yeah it is yeah also if i've just been on the computer too much very often with you when you're on a computer do you look away quit
e often no we don't tend to do it yeah you should and because for some reason i don't understand why um when you're on the computer you tend not to blink okay yeah so um we should sort of like look away like every half an hour if we can or at least an hour and sometimes if you just fix your eyesight on you know a distance like something in the window or something and just look at it and blink a few times that will help to um see you know the eyes help the eye strain maybe you know put your phone
a reminder or something like every half an hour or three quarters an hour an hour and just to like you know set the alarm off so you can like look away and blink yeah i think you know just blink for a few for a few seconds or a minute or so um and then like you know sort of look into about 20 feet away just keep your eyes focused and then just like blink okay that will help um obviously help you stop your eyes drying out as well yeah and it'll help you you know any eye strain as well oh thank y
ou i didn't do that so any fainting any tremors dizziness um dizziness occasionally like with the fatigue in the evenings just like wanting to loads of cleaning around the house often i'll get really dizzy okay any visual disturbances like floaters in the eye and how's your skin any fungal infections or rashes or itching no good any joints or muscle pain uh just uh yeah a bit in my legs sometimes but and is that the lower leg or the whole leg so when i did i had like a week of just like loads of
like night pain in my legs but it was like this the lower bit under my knees but it seems to be gone now so i don't know what it was yeah sometimes on my feet as well the sound was fatal no the top bit yeah but i didn't know if i pulled it or something when i was running for somewhere i didn't know just seems to always be the same place yeah yeah and then and is it swollen a bit i mean any information i don't think it's all and i think the bone is actually just higher on one side than the other
so it's just like yeah have you got a high instep i have no idea what does that mean you know where your foot comes here so have you how high is your instep because sometimes if you've got a high instep the the bone will be higher than um and you need to look about you know stop like be aware of what shoes or how tight yeah the top part of your shoe or strap is oh okay i i don't think it's got like also if you if you do have a high instep if you have you know like an arch here you need to make
sure you've got proper support okay yeah because otherwise that can like cause pain okay i didn't know that yeah i don't i don't remember this bit being too high but look when you go home yeah when you go home just sort of you know i'm like and then this so you can see whether it's quite high or just you know how high it is really okay i'm curious now okay um and the pain in the lower legs when you did have it what sort of pain was it like a constant like throbbing like pulsing throbbing okay an
d did anything help it just seemed to go away with time but at the time i took neurofen and then it like dim down a bit and then i just went to sleep yeah okay okay so i've had to go through your diet okay so what do you have when you first wake up in the morning um sometimes yakult like the drink um then i get on the train and then when i get to work i have green tea and then when i get hungry i have a yogurt like a greek yogurt okay and then i'll have lunch which can be like anything um depend
ing on the day like sometimes i go out to like a restaurant and have like like tapas or thai food or noodles or like yeah or sandwich even so do you eat meat yeah poultry fish yeah i think love's the only thing i don't really eat just because i don't like it okay that's fair enough okay and what do you have for dinner it varies really depends on the day like often rice and some sort of food with the rice or sometimes even like takeaway sometimes junk food like if it's gonna be bad food it'll be
dinner um yeah and what sort of takeaways do you have yeah get like anything more often like chips and burgers though than anything else okay um sometimes like japanese food um yeah so you don't tend to cook a lot i used to but now that i get home so late and i just when i was trying to cook on top of my schedule i was getting even more like tired and like overwhelmed and so i've stopped cooking and i partnered to cook um so if he isn't cooking they'll get delivery so yeah did have burgers yeste
rday though like homemade ones so he did but without chips just just a burger with an egg in it okay so do you eat do you eat vegetables uh do i eat vegetables if it's in something yes i like them occasionally a snack on a tomato yeah don't think about it yeah they're not really there a bananas i got a that's not a vegetable though yeah not too many okay and do you have yeah what do you have any snacks during the day um i try not to snack too much on like sweet foods or anything so not really nu
ts maybe if i do snack on my desk like cashew nuts and almond nuts and they salted roasted or natural natural ones yeah and any fruit um not recently yeah i used to snack on blueberries a lot but quite expensive at the moment so not really okay but yeah i got a lot of bananas actually not like daily um like three or four times a week okay and do you take any dairy apart from the yogurt yeah just the yogurt yeah okay and what do you drink throughout the day water and green tea okay okay so your d
iet isn't very balanced but the more i was explaining it the more concern is getting about the vegetables yeah yeah it's it's uh you know and food is medicine food gives you energy and if you're not giving your body the right energy and the right nutrients um you know it's not going to function properly fair enough do you you know you say you get you know quite a lot of fatigue and some of this could be connected to the covid um because there is no um fatigue connected to that but also it can be
connected to the dye as well or your diet is not helping yeah actually the time i moved in with my boyfriend was me i'd never pieced that together actually so yeah my diet would have gotten a lot worse from may onwards as well [Music] greek yogurt and bananas they're both mucus forming okay now when you produce a lot of mucus your immune system when you catch a cold or a virus or pathogen your immune system produces mucus and likes to try to surround that that virus that pathogen to actually yo
u know get rid of it to kill it okay now if you're also eating lots of food that produce mucus you are congesting your body so the energy is not flowing properly um you know the blood's not flowing properly so you don't want to be eating all these foods every day okay so you know bananas although you say three to four times a week that's probably too much you know so wants to talk once or twice a week and greek of that night every day oh okay um [Music] so you know is coconut yogurt would be oka
y but there again lots of coconut yogurt has sugars and sweeteners in it so um that's probably not the best so you don't eat anything at home you just wait until you get to work too yeah and then on the weekends you just skip breakfast okay well you know porridge would be good probably to give you energy you can have with nuts and seeds that'll give you energy you know take you through to the lunch time yeah lunchtime you know again yeah you're eating just i mean you know you say tapas you know
what type of tapas do you have tapas like chorizo quesadilla like tortilla as well just like i think there was artichoke an ostrich dish in there and maybe a salad dish it depends how i'm going with like what we order yeah yeah i mean it'd be good if you could include some salad um or some vegetables rather than just oily meats and you know yeah uh and noodles and sandwich if you have a sandwich what's in the sandwich like tuna okay chilli sandwich and is that on white bread brown bread whole gr
ain um recently i've got a bread machine so whichever flower i think the only flower i've got right now is the pro like the one from sainsbury's that's like white flower um but i'm trying to get my hands on some gluten-free ones because i often can't if i eat too much bread i get a bit like stuffy so i tried to eat brown bread usually so yeah recently it's been white bread because i got excited with my new bread cooker yeah and white flour products also omega's boiling oh okay yeah because i alw
ays get like like stuffy in my fruit when i have loads of white bread so yeah and you'll probably notice it if you eat like lots of white pasta yeah yeah pasta's like the one thing i actually avoid because i always feel really rough after it yeah and it could be it could be the actual the flower or it could be you know say the gluten which is in the flour which is you know the wheat so i mean pasta obviously you can get gluten-free pasta you can get other types of like corn pasta things like tha
t but breads yeah trying um sourdough would be good for you if you can get a starter um but you know sourdough something like that but gluten it's in mainly in wheat rye and barley okay um so you know do watch those those grains um but it might be it might just be because it's white flour rather than a whole meal or whole grain flour all you need to do is experiment okay experiment with your bread maker and see which ones and listen to your body if you start to feel you know pain or bloating or
your stools change uh or yeah you start to feel like stuffy up here congested then you know it's probably that you know after all after it doesn't matter what flower then it's probably the gluten okay okay and then but you can buy gluten-free flours yeah so you know perhaps you know make some breads experiment with them yeah but yeah so i mean again all the white flower products all the processed food because all these takeaways and everything you know they are processed you don't know how much
sugar how much salt is in them um and what other additives so you know your diet you really must try and clean your diet up because you know you're having takeaways at lunch and then takeaways dinner yeah never really thought about it so ideally would it be more like some sort of salad with each meal yes salad would be good or vegetables you know or a bit of both bit of salad some vegetables and a bit of protein but the protein the size of your palm whatever the size of your palm is that's the o
nly protein you actually need okay um in any meal so you know you don't need a great big steak like this you don't need maybe a piece of fish like this you only need like you know a small piece of protein and the rest should be the rest of your plate should be a small amount of carbs which is hopefully complex carbs such as brown rice something like that or sweet potato and then the rest and vegetables now those vegetables could be made up of good vegetables steamed vegetables or salad or a bit
of both okay okay so but you know plate for the noodles [Laughter] yeah lots of like tapas that you know is all meat and yeah that's that's not really doing it okay yeah yeah okay yeah i've had all these health concerns and never really thought about the diet part of things yeah yeah yeah because you know food is the same food you need the body needs food you need to give it the right nutrients in your body because you know you're asking it to to go all day but if you're putting crap in you're g
onna get crap out you're gonna feel like crap yeah and that's where you know a lot of the fatigue is coming from because you're not giving the body you know the right nutrients the right vitamins to carry on through the day yeah do you usually get a slump in the afternoon at work and you're like yeah not enough yeah because your blood sugar levels are going like that you need them to supply be balanced and that's because you're eating lots of stuff that really isn't good for you uh you need to t
ry and think you and your partner you need to sit down and think okay perhaps we should do more home cooking yeah especially you know in the evenings you know have a takeaway but not every day and not twice a day yeah definitely yeah i'm trying to think at work as well like i don't i think the reason i end up going out to buy food even if it's like prayer or somewhere is because i'm always like prioritizing sleep in the morning over like making something but i'm thinking there is like supermarke
ts nearby where i can at least try and get like different like vegetable selections or something yeah or salad you know i mean if you work in the city there's do you work in the city yeah in central london so you know there's gonna be salad bars there's gonna be you know where you can get take away salad and you can choose your salads and you can choose you know what meats you want in them yeah um so you know that if you want a dressing or you don't want the dressing so that probably you know th
at'd be a good idea um but you know think about you know organizing and planning meals yeah especially like you know for the evening because it's all about planning because otherwise you know you think okay what we're going to cook or what we've got in the cupboard nothing so yeah you know you need to sit down and plan you know what you're going to cook throughout the week and what you need to buy and then any leftovers you could perhaps take to work the next day yeah or make up into a salad the
next day yeah i don't know if you've got any heating you've got microwave or yeah yeah you know something like that but you could always make you know leftovers into a salad add some herbs add some spices you could do that the night before yeah or do it in the morning just put it in a wet dish and like take it to work yeah it's it's a it's about organization and planning yeah but you know you need to sit down and think okay well let's let's try and plan meals plan the shopping and you know you'
re not going to get it right every time and there will be times you know when you're too tired and you too like come home late you think i just can't be asked to cook so you know there are going to be times like that yeah but if you've got something in the cupboard something in the fridge that you think now actually yeah that's going to take me half an hour to do i can put that on i can have a shower i can just have a cup of tea watch the news for like half an hour then then the meal's ready yea
h and the thing is by cooking your own food you know exactly what's going in it it's far more nutritious and healthy for you than all these you know takeaways with sources with msg in and everything else in you don't know what's in them too much salt probably so um have a think about that yeah i will i'll be this evening's conversation yeah that's quite opening yeah and i mean your partner's probably doing the same thing having takeaways at london having takeaways yeah yeah in the evening so and
the more you start to cook um you know sit down have a nice meal together and you know you get the more you get into it the more you enjoy it yeah and the more adventurous you you'll get um so yeah you know you can like okay let's cook a time yeah let's do it let but you know you do it from scratch and see how you go because you then do it to your your taste yeah yeah and when you go yeah and then you know you can have you can start with the salad like the mediterraneans do start with the salad
because when you start with a little bit of salad salad will actually get the digestive enzymes going the juices going also it's very good for the for the gut okay okay so and then have like you know your thai food or your mints or beef or whatever you're gonna have chicken whatever you're gonna have see how it's like a starter um okay yeah i mean if you include fermented vegetables as well such as sauerkraut that is really good for the guts okay really good for the couch yeah i love kimchi as
well yeah i stopped having it because it's not too it's not the fridge out yeah kimchi is lovely i like cooking but fermented foods are really really good for the guts okay like put some good bacteria into the gut yeah and like say if you have them as startup that will really help the digestion right okay so have a bit of sauerkraut a bit kimchi with a bit of salad yeah um and then have you it only needs to be a little small bowl not a great big salad and then have your have your main meal okay
yeah i'm gonna start planning see what i can take into work and how i can like adjust yeah yeah i think i could take rice or something in really easily rice is great i mean i've done it you know you cook rice in the evening have it hot with a meal and then if there's some leftover just have it cold and you can actually add in a bit of oil a little bit of vinegar dressing add a few if there's any veg vegetables vegetables again i had you know add in a few uh cold vegetables and just make it salad
yeah and you can add a few bits of piece on it a few raw nuts yeah and a few fresh herbs there you go got yourself a nice tasty salad sounds like all these meals i never eat but you know have a think about it definitely i can email you some information about what a balanced diet should be if you're willing so yeah definitely yeah it's quite concerning yeah but you know i think if you if you start to look at your diet that will help a lot with fatigue yeah because it will help to balance your bl
ood sugar levels because at the moment you know you're having big dips and that's you know a lot of it is because i think you know it's your diet yeah okay okay but um i will i'll email you some information so you do drink any other herbal teas apart from green tea um if i do it's usually like once i've got home in the evening i try to avoid it because of the caffeine so it'll be like a nettle tea or like some sort of like come a mile maybe like something more calming yeah yeah i love tea so let
me see yeah good yeah chamomile's lovely in the evenings it's nice and relaxing yeah nettle's very good uh it's a blood tonic so it's really a blood tonic yeah so it's good for the blood oh okay yeah it sounded really cool when i saw it in the supermarket so i bought it yeah i didn't know it had like health benefits yeah nettle's great good for the bladder um good for the skin but it's good great for the blood as well so yeah i'll be drinking more of that and nettle and mint if you put two toge
ther you can either i think you can buy some uh nettle and mint tea but if not what i do sometimes is like a bag nettle and a tea bag of mint and mix them together that's very nice as well but don't have mint in like you know before you go to bed because it's diuretic so you'll end up getting up for a pee a bit more if you don't mean mint at night okay okay okay so yeah talked about your diet can i just have a look at your tongue please all right just relax it just flop out yeah okay okay thank
you there are signs there of some malabsorption okay um which again would go to uh towards some of the lightning towards you to take because if you're not absorbing your nutrients properly then obviously your nutrients are not getting around to your body so but there are some signs of that apple cider vinegar if you try that um before meals have you heard of apple cider vinegar is that yeah i think i tried it once like i had to be with the mother or something the mother tincture yeah i tried dri
nking it jerry lockdown was like a phase i had it with water for a while but i ended up yes didn't continue doing it yeah but it's good if you have a teaspoon or you know if you work start with a teaspoon and then like work up to a tablespoon in a little bit of water 20 to 30 minutes before meals yeah that helps to uh helps the digestion okay but again think about the gluten as well because it could be you may have a gluten intolerance so yeah so experiment with your bread making yeah experiment
with flowers and see just listen to your body see how it feels if you start to get bloating congestion or changes in bowel mode motions then it could be the gluten right okay is gluten it's a really dumb question is deuteronomy gluten in white rice as well or is it right it's in the grains um such as wheat barley and rye they're they're the main ones it's in okay um rice is okay corn is okay that's free gluten and amaranth millet and quinoa they don't have gluten so it's the main ones that say
a wheat barley and rye okay trouble is with gluten is if it does cause a problem you could end up having a leaky gut and that's where particles of food go through the gut lining and then go back into your bloodstream and then your immune system like we'll go hello there's something foreign here we don't like this so every time you eat that food again yeah your immune system is going to react so then it like yeah cause bloating um ingest indigestion constipation diarrhea yeah fatigue muscle pains
so you know so this is gluten can be quite a big problem so do do experiment yeah with a different plans and see yeah okay yeah or just go to the gluten-free flour and just cut out with rest yeah but um yes so i'll email you some information about that thank you okay i just need to take your holsters okay okay thank you look into your eyes okay so okay you've got quite a bit of acidity in your body okay one more time yeah okay yeah you've also um you've got quite a bit of a sorry quite a bit of
acidity in your body um and again that could be due to the diet as well just uh you know you're taking too much acid that's the acidic food in okay um so you do need to you know alkalize your diet i eat in lots of vegetables which foods are acidic meat meat fish they're all acidic grains are acidic um so you know we do need some acidity yeah but we've got to get it in the right balance um so vegetables are very very quite alkaline so i'm probably just not eating the other yeah yeah fair enough
but yeah um you know meats and everything that we like everything fast food processed food all acidic you've also got some um signs in your eyes that shows congestion as well so dry skin brushing would be really good for you you know you get um have you had a dry skin brushing when you do in the shower you do it just before the shower oh okay um so yeah you get a soft really soft bristled brush and it's just a very very light touch and you start the ankles and like just work your way up to the h
eart and with your arms as well and then just do it towards your heart a couple of minutes before before you shower in the morning and what it does it just gets the lymph moving and the blood moving and so it just helps circulation because you have got signs there that you know you've got some congestion in your eyes okay so dry skin brushing would help um also rebounding you know like a little trampoline jumping up and down okay but uh yeah they would help because you say you don't really exerc
ise so you know the circulation you're not getting it do you sit down a lot during the day yeah pretty much all day yeah so some some movement would be good um so you know you can buy little rebounders okay they're just tiny little trampolines um and then you just jump up on them for like five minutes and that again really helps to get the circulation and the blood moving and everything okay okay but dry skin brushing again that would really help because it just helped to weight the whole system
up and gets everything moving yeah yeah and it takes literally minutes yeah quite just before the shower i can imagine that's quite easy to put in my room yeah and the same once you start doing it it feels weird when you don't yeah yeah and it's a very very light touch you know you're not really you don't you don't need to press hard it's just just a very light touch i did have someone saying yeah but it hurts if it hurts you're doing it wrong and imagine the brush would color if you're going l
ike yeah exactly why am i ending up with all these slight things no i don't do that okay i just want another quick look okay okay you've got um blue eyes as you know we call them lymphatic because it's to do with the lymphatic system so when probably when you're small uh you may have had problems with the tonsils you know you see the kids with their little the runny noses always got colds and coughs they're usually the blue eyed people they're like kids because your blue-eyed people react very q
uickly so you know it's good because it shows you immune systems working okay but you they catch the colds have the runny noses tonsillitis when they're kids you know that's all again because it's all to do with the lymphatic system which is part of your immune system so again you know sort of like producing lots of mucus yeah um but yeah lymphatic system so you know that's that's what we call blue eyes or blue gray eyes okay so yeah but you say you've got some signs in your eyes of like say con
gestion um you've got a medium constitution so you know you must watch your um your energy levels but you don't tend you don't tend to push yourself to the limit but you know you usually know when to come home and draw back and you need to like um you need that as well you know sort of like you can be a bit of a perfectionist at times you see this in the eye yes that's so cool you can be a bit perfectionist and you do like to look after people and you like to create a nice home but when you're o
ut of balance you can be um very touchy and demanding but you do you know you need to you like a nice home environment and you like to please people but just make sure you're not put upon too much you know you can say no to people at times [Laughter] yeah [Laughter] it's learning to say no okay um [Applause] [Music] okay so um probiotics are good um vitamin d is good again you need that you need that for calcium to absorb properly and you need it for lots of other things it's good for the brain
it's good for energy yeah so you know especially coming into autumn winter now we are in autumn you need to take it every day especially when it gets dark uh you know you're going to work in the dark you're coming home in the dark take it every day okay and maybe you know keep a bottle at work and then have another bottle at home so you know you know you definitely take it weekends and you're definitely taking it during the week okay okay probiotics again take daily if you can how much do you kn
ow how much is in i'm not really sure at all okay do they do they use the same thing like are you or no different types yeah it is but you know if you include some fermented vegetables into your diet it gets so that you know their prebiotic food as well so they give the probiotics food to feed on okay okay so you've got you know you've got the all the your microbiome in your gut all the thousands and billions trillions of bacteria the probiotics need good bacteria to feed on those fermented food
s were prebiotic so they they give those pro they produce good bacteria the prebiotics for the good bacteria to feed on so you're really good you know you're giving your gut some wonderful bacteria to actually help fight any infections and to keep your immune system going okay and then the probiotic is like the supplements and the yeah i mean some foods are probiotics as well you know some of the foods are pre-biotic as well as probiotics i know it's very confusing yeah they name them such simil
ar names yeah but no you know take probiotics as well as the fermented vegetables as well right okay okay but you know that i think by helping your diet changing your diet um will really help yeah will help the fatigue because it helped to see you throughout the day um at the moment your diet is quite poor oh it's good to shed light on it i honestly didn't realize it was that bad i mean it's you know you're eating that's that's the main thing you are eating it's just it's not very balanced yeah
that's the problem um you know it's not very balanced and it's too much fast food too much processed food yeah okay and and if you continue down that road it is going to have a more detrimental effect on your health so you know it's nice to have a treat yeah now and again it's a nice day i think i'm so focused on like cutting out because i used to be a lot worse with eating sugary foods like i'd always want dessert after i've had something more savory so i was so focused on cutting all of those
out i kind of forgot about everything else yeah being bad as well so yeah and the thing is you don't know you don't know how much sugar yeah it's in these foods yeah all the fast foods definitely i mean start you know have a look at reading the ingredients i know you know you can't read the ingredients in your restaurant however but um you know if you're if you're getting takeaways um you know just have a look look and see what's in there and if you know chinese food you're probably going to hav
e msg you want to sodium glutamate because it makes it taste nicer but that's not really any good for you at all and again you know you don't know how much sugar is in things and if you're buying processed foods or you know ready meals i don't know if you buy ready meals ready ones no no you just get from a takeaway it sounds ridiculous but like i remember i remember someone telling me that they were really bad for you and then i just never got into the habit of ready meals but yeah i feel like
because everyone grows up to eat to chat and stuff and never really saw that as like the enemy it's not it's not necessarily the enemy because you can have some healthy foods when you go out yeah but you need to pick and choose you know don't have something covered in loads of sauces not every day you know it's to say it's nice to have a treat but you know when you go to a restaurant um try and have something with the salad try and have something with vegetables trying to you know trying to have
you can still have really nutritious food yeah but you need to like you know know what you pick and choose but choose wisely yeah have steamed fish you know steamed fish with some vegetables or salad i do love this actually yeah so you know something like that rather than you know tapas which has got lots of oil in it and so would even let both potatoes be valued as vegetables boiled potatoes no they're uh they're not really counted as vegetables they're a starch that would be the starch cycle
yeah yeah i would count that then fish i would have but i guess i still need the cream part yeah it's still yeah it's turning into vegetables yeah yeah but i will i'll email you some information yeah about balanced diets and you know how how it should be okay and some suggestions and also some information about gluten as well because i think that will help you as well yeah okay only up from here if it's not great yeah yeah but you know it's not it's not it's not dire okay but there is definite r
oom for improvement okay and um also you may want to think about um getting a good multi-vitamin mineral okay because your diet's not that great at the moment at the moment yeah um and again we you know we're going to go into winter uh soon it may be best you know if you just just help your immunity um if you get a good mineral vitamin supplement to take okay okay yeah because if you get vitamin and mineral that'll give you the magnesium which will help you you that would give you because quite
a lot quite often people are deficient in magnesium magnesium also helps with cramps okay so around your period time it would help you because you know any cramps you need magnesium but if you get good mineral vitamin supplement it will have magnesium in it have calcium in it have potassium in it have all the other minerals that you need vitamins that you need so it just helped to boost your energy right okay and also i mean do you have any smoothies or anything or vegetable juices uh i don't ha
ve smoothies because they're really cold and feeling cold afterwards but um very very occasionally i might have there's like um this packet like it's like a japanese thing because my wife is japanese and it's like this kind of like green shop that you mix into water and i think it's like kale and stuffs um we were in the habit of having that daily but it seemed to have got another habit of doing it get back into that i really liked it as well yeah just found a bit tedious to make each time but y
eah but yeah i mean it could be uh it's probably got you may have spirulina in or or grass or yeah wheatgrass yeah that was it i remember looking up the history of what exactly this juice was and something about them using wheatgrass to help people like in the war time where they didn't have the right things yeah i think it's a week-long root grass shop thing yeah yeah we'll get back into that bit because again if you do that in the mornings it'll give you energy okay and it's also again full of
vitamins and minerals so so try try and get back into the habit of doing that right so that'd be better in the morning than the evening yeah well okay yeah right and again you know japanese food yeah can be really healthy yeah it takes a long to make yeah i think before i was getting like quite sick i'm not sick but like very overwhelmed and like fatigued i was trying really hard to make all these like different side dishes and stuff and all of that it just took so long do that when you're ente
rtaining on a daily basis yeah just cook one meal yeah one meal that's all you need um you know get yourself a good cookbook or you know this just go on the internet yeah youtube yeah yeah it's amazing what's on there so um you know have a look yeah um but yeah just have a have a sit down and have a chat with your boyfriend and like cooking when are we gonna start yeah his consultation would be the same yeah like a bad diet yeah start there okay and i think your energy will definitely and your i
mprove as well yeah yeah yeah especially going into winter i really don't want to take catching cards again yeah like all the time exactly and you know the better you eat the more nutrients you have the better your immunity will be ah okay i'm a bit inspired now to i mean i think when i know there's a payoff like being having more energy again yeah i'm more likely to stick to it yeah and you'll catch less colds and infections that sounds quite good really yeah i didn't think of this before obvio
usly i did not think that diet i've had all this time like long covered and like what's going on with me it's the same time frame did not stop to think about how badly i was eating it may have had something to do with coverage we don't know yeah um you know but diet is so important and you know that's one thing yeah that you've you know that you can change yeah yeah and from today well yeah tomorrow maybe yeah when i next eat yeah so any questions um not right now i don't think yeah i think i'll
make sure i'm just more aware of the food and stuff over there so i'll email you some information about balanced diets and also a bit about gluten and just general food advice um and then you know if you've got any queries after that just email me back or give me a ring yeah and i'll answer them thank you so much okay you're welcome thank you you

The more pseudo the science the more relaxing the video

One point of fact: Your liver, kidneys, and lungs all balance acidity. That's why you can smell ketoacidosis on the breath. Further, just generalizing "eat fruits and vegetables to lower acidity" ignores the acidity of a ton of vegetables including eggplant (aubergine), tomato, onion, grapes, and most peppers. Fermented vegetables can be even more acidic (through the fermentation process). As for MSG, it's been proven to be totally healthy. MSG as a seasoning is derived from seaweed, but it also exists in mushrooms, tomato, meat, and your own body.

I liked the lo fi aspect of the audio, very easy to relax to 😊

@demiV55555

It was relaxing but unfortunately i am a dietitian and her advice about diet was sooo ridiculous and hocus pocus that i was raging that these people are so uneducated and they get paid to advice nonsense. She basically said all the Instagram trends.

I say this with all the love (and at 2:51AM), I'm so jealous of your healthy sleep schedule.

@DDSMASH74

The naturopath has such a lovely boring relaxing voice! I find monotonous voices asking questions and droning on super relaxing.

@TheSandwicht

I like how you nod after answering the questions like reassuring yourself that it's correct 💯

@jesssss12

She talked for so long about the salads. That I had time to get up from bed, make three salads, and ate them all while she talked about the salads. Edit: melisa hair color is really cool ❤️

@StacyOnWheels

This was brilliant!! Really enjoyed it. I went full mum mode when she asked if there was anything else and you said no, I was shouting at my phone, no tell her about the temperatures!! I was so relieved when you told her in the end!! 😂

@eloisemarch6289

You seem like such a genuinely sweet person. Thank you for sharing videos that are quite personal. I'd probably die if a video of my poor eating habits was shared on the internet 😂 that being said, this has inspired me to eat better as well lol 💛 (also, A+ ASMR)

I saw this on your TikTok and was wondering when it would be uploaded!, Tysm very relaxing! :D

@bogbabe

A few other people have pointed this out, but the talk of body ph/being too acidic is flat out put wrong. If your body was the wrong ph, it would be a sign of a major medical emergency and is not something that can be effected by diet. Various organs regulate our general ph balance, it going wrong would cause severe issues much further than fratigue (dont get me wrong i deal with fratigue too, i know how much it sucks to not be able to do the things you want to because of how exhausted you are)

@amandanewman3112

Loved this!! I recently went through the same problem of extreme fatigue and was diagnosed as a Type 1 Diabetic two weeks ago. A symptom of high blood sugar is sleepiness. And I too didn’t eat veggies or exercise as often as I should! I just watched your eye exam video from two months ago and you mentioned a family history of diabetics so it might be something worth looking into. Hoping this helped!!

@richardmangelmann4975

I know for you it might have a different cause, but I've suffered from fatigue a lot due to my depression, especially during the past two years. But even If thats different, once you get into that slump its very difficult to get out of, I didnt even eat enough. I got so many treatmenst and nothing made it better, only when I stared my new job it somehow improved the most it has in a decade honestly. It was fun, I laughed with my colleagues a lot, I liked going there and sometimes did overtime cuz I liked it so much. I worked somewhere else before where I also loved the people, but it still wasn't the same. I dunno, it just made me realize that doctors sometimes can't help, even tho, I always recommend going. But sometimes a change in life itself can do wonders. I think the treatments gave me a good basis, of course they played a role, but they themselves didnt solve it alone.

@TheSusanbantony

This is incredibly relaxing This video has helped me fall asleep many times.
