At 0:48 you can hear people chanting this part which makes sense since it says “what’s at the other side of this wall, that question has been haunting us since we were children” it gives the feeling this isn’t just our main characters thoughts but many of the other servey corp and shows how people really want answers

I like how this was the last aot OP with a triumphant patrotic feel. This arc was basically the Surevy Corps and Eren at their peak, their last and brightest moment as the unwavering heroes of mankind before the horrible truth turned them into it's greatest enemies. While I have incredibly mixed feelings about AoT's whiplash inducing genre shift I have to say it's very hard to not apreciate these little thematic details.

Man s3 part 2 was the peak of aot the build up towards to the biggest reveal in the series and basically a new start for aot

From 0:42 to 0:47, the scene with the Survey Corps riding sends chills down my spine. After you've watched this season, and watched the final charge of the Survey Corps, you'll get it. It's just haunting. And it's only a brief moment in this brilliant opening.
