-Her. -David!
-Ja. Det er sjovt, når cirkus ankommer. Medmindre du er med. Bare rolig. De kan ikke komme ind. Vi druknede. Men han fortsatte bare. J
Hvad gør man bagefter? Synk eller svøm. Der var noget i ham. Den beslutsomhed. I har ikke set noget endnu. Kommer der mere? Måske.

I cried when I saw how they treated him.. such a sweet man .. the fact that he still kept going shows how strong he is

@carrieflowers

This was the best show I’ve watched on Netflix in a very long time. Thanks to the Beckham family for sharing their story. Pure joy!

@whynot1348

The best documentary I’ve seen in a long time. I’m a man and I got emotional the way he was treated for a smallest mistake that anyone can do. I got so much more respect for Beckham after this 👏🏻

Just finished watching this and it’s almost 3:00 AM. Had a flashback to all those crazy adrenaline pumped moments of 2000s and what an absolute powerhouse Beckham was. A very well crafted docu-series by Netflix. Even if you aren’t a football fanatic, watch it to know David Beckham, the man, the myth and the absolute legend!

@AZ-ge5hd

Man so many guys looked up to him and his style. He was a true legend of football. Still a fashion icon, a humble family guy and a successful business man. He got it all

@marylawrie4729

This documentary opened my eyes to how much character posh and becks has ,I don’t particularly like football and never had any thoughts about the beckhams, but what an amazing pair they are I didn’t know about the World Cup fiasco a weaker man would have caved in with all the abuse he got and posh has always stood by him , certainly am impressed by them both

@gorrillasofficial

Only 90's & 2000's kids can understand the feeling of being fan of Beckham❤💯🔥

@timothyfifield8369

Also my fav quote is David’s Mum , “I have a hit list for people who upset me” perfection ❤

@NicolePoliskey

I had not one clue about "football" in Europe. This documentary was absolutely fantastic. I cried at least 3 times. I love the focus of how important it is to have other men who support you in your life. Yes, David was very clear about his love for his entire family and their love for him, but I came away away with an appreciation of the men in his life, his father, his teammates, managers, friends. This is a beautiful tribute to the true nature of men and I loved it xx

Beckham's evolution from the horrors of France '98 to triumphing in the CL final '99 is one of the greatest redemption stories in all of sport . Athletes talk about pressure today, but Beckham showed everyone back in 1999 how to deal with adversity when the spotlight is constantly on you.

When he left Man U, I left too. What a great footballer he was. Heartbreaking to watch back how the fans turned on him and abused him for a long period of time. How he coped …. But I’m proud of him and his legacy.🙏🏽❤️

@plyyy2534

I could not stop watching the documentary, it is so well done. The feeling of nostalgia, learning things you didn't know, remembering how good Becks was... but it was hard to watch the abuse he had to endure. I had no idea it was this serious. I am Turkish, I remember my dad watching "the game" and saying "poor boy fell right in to the trap. English fans will destroy him." As a kid didn't understand him. Now I do. Can't even imagine what would have happened if social media existed back then.

@sbaby-kg8hn

People don't understand how good a football player David was he was brilliant pure magic

@KathyC-sk8tu

What a superb docuseries! I did not want it to end. David Beckham was a fantastic football player and such a good person who loved his family. Best docuseries I have seen on Netflex in quite a while.

@NoorAnne123

Ive finished watching this, and i can tell you, it was absolute worth to watch. His journey as football player, his determination and motivation can be example to us. He’s trully a legend.

@deborahlarsen4384

Netflix did a great job with the Beckham documentary. I was shocked at the brutal treatment that David received from his fans, especially the Brits. He was, and still is an amazing athlete.

@sandraberry612

What a remarkable man David Beckham is ! I was born & bred in Manchester! a City fan & wasn’t living in Uk at this time, I live in Australia 🇦🇺 I was absolutely shocked watching the Netflix documentary, the way David was treated, by his own father, Alex Ferguson, Glen Hoddle & The press ,TV ect ! But most importantly the English People ! I’ve alway been proud & protective of England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 but i cried,after watching the documentary! I thought no wonder David has OCD. As a child his father made him practice football relentlessly until David got it right no matter what!He never praised him & getting annoyed,when he got it wrong ! He was a littler boy! Then there was Ferguson ! who wouldn’t speak to him after matches when United lost! when he did brilliantly he didn’t praise his either! We all saw it! Ferguson kicked a boot into David’s face & said he did something to make the cut look worse & never apologising! ( No wonder David has a compulsive disorder) It didn’t matter how brilliant he played,these people were never there satisfied or wasn’t there to protect him ! And what a nasty piece of work Hoddle was ! David was playing his heart out when he was fowled,everyone at that match could clearly see it,David retaliated as many players have & do only to get a red card ! all hell let loose & blamed him for the loss! Was it the responsibility of David to win the match on his own,I don’t think so ! All those people including managers Ferguson & Hoddle should be ashamed of themselves, for not protecting a brilliant footballer & fellow countryman! At his time of need! today he’s still absolutely gutted over the treatment & accusations that was thrown at him ! But you know what he’s a better man than any of the accusers will ever be & all have to live with themselves for what they did to him! In their eye’s he couldn’t do right for wrong 😑 Good luck to David ,Victoria & family 🥰💕 I was a privilege to watch your wonderful documentary ! The world needed to know how brilliant young sportsmen are treated by managers !

@jmc6687

Ive never been a fan of Beckham, but after watching this I found a new respect for the guy. I never realised what a brilliant footballer he was. The documentary is very well done and I admire his openness in it.

@cribb6376

His personal stardom covers up how great he was as a footballer.. Work rate.. Passing.. Set pieces.. Determination.. Stamina.. Accuracy.. Skill.. The younger generation have no idea how good he was.

@dandruffegg

Just finished this and honestly it’s so emotional. They came across as such a lovely down to earth family at the end. What an amazing series. And after all this time, David comes across so well. And he will go down in history as an icon. Absolutely loved it!
