But now the night market is no longer running. I was told they are planning to reopen later this year. Today, Ben Thanh Market welcomes more than 10,000 visitors per day to shop and visit. The market has nearly 1,500 booths with more than 6,000 small businesses selling wholesale and retail items from consumables
to "luxury" goods. Here you can find pretty much any brands you desire. The only thing is....are these brands authentic or are they fake? LOL ;) Rolex, Cartier.....Oh My!!! I was warned by locals to be careful of the price the vendors quote as they are 3X to 5X else where in Ho Chi Minh. There are so many visual eye candies that you have to experience this for yourselves in person. This is a bargain hunter's paradise. Where you can negotiate prices. Just be careful when bringing these "luxury"g
oods into certain countries, such as Japan or the USA. The food here are so delicious. A person can spend a couple of hours shopping and not visit all the booths in Ben Thanh market. Rolex, Cartier.....OH MY!!! Ben Thanh market has a total area of 13,056 m² Throughout the years, the market underwent major renovations to both the exterior and interior. But the overall architecture remained with its iconic bell tower in the foreground.
