e while I will punish the house of jehu for the blood of Jezreel and I will  put an end to the kingdom of the House of Israel and on that day I will break the bow  of Israel in the valley of Jezreel she conceived again and bore a daughter and the  Lord said to him call her name no mercy for I will no more have mercy on the house of Israel to  forgive them at all but I will have mercy on the house of Judah and I will save them by the Lord  their God I will not save them by bow or by sword or by w

ar or by horses or by Horsemen when she  had weaned no mercy she conceived and bore a son and the Lord said call his name not my people  for you are not my people and I am not your God yet the number of the children of Israel  shall be like the sand of the sea which cannot be measured or numbered and in the  place where it was said to them you are not my people it shall be said to them children  of the Living God and the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered  together an

d they shall appoint for themselves one head and they shall go up from the land  for great shall be the day of Jezreel foreign [Music] Hosea chapter 2. [Music] foreign say to your brothers You Are My People and  to your sisters you have received Mercy plead with your mother plead for she is not my  wife and I am not her husband that she put away her whoring from her face and her adultery from  between her breasts lest I strip her naked and make her as in the day she was born and make her  like a

wilderness and make her like a parched land and kill her with thirst upon her children also  I will have no mercy because they are children of whoredom for their mother has played the  [ __ ] she who conceived him has acted shamefully for she said I will go after my lovers who give  me my bread and my water my wool and my flax my oil and my drink therefore I will hedge up her  way with thorns and I will build a wall against her so that she cannot find her pants she shall  pursue her lovers but

not overtake them and she shall seek them but shall not find them then  she shall say I will go and return to my first husband for it was better for me then than now  and she did not know that it was I who gave her the grain the wine and the oil and who lavished  on her silver and gold which they used for bail therefore I will take back my grain in its time  and my wine in its season and I will take away my wool and my flax which were to cover her  nakedness now I will uncover her lewdness in th

e sight of her lovers and no one shall  rescue her out of my hand and I will put an end to all her mirth her feasts her new moons  her sabbaths and all of her appointed Feasts and I will lay waste her Vines and her fig  trees of which she said these are my wages which my lovers have given me I will make them  a forest in the beasts of the field shall devour them and I will punish her for the feast days of  the Bales when she burned offerings to them and adorned herself with her ring and jewelry

and went  after her lovers and forgot me declares the Lord therefore behold I will Allure her and bring her  into the Wilderness and speak tenderly to her and there I will give her her Vineyards and make the  valley of acor a Door of Hope and there she shall answer as in the days of her youth as at the  time when she came out of the land of Egypt and in that day declares the Lord you will call me  my husband and no longer will you call me my bail for I will remove the names of the bales from her

  mouth and they shall be remembered by name no more and I will make for them a covenant  on that day with the beasts of the field the birds of the heavens and  the creeping things of the ground and I will abolish the bow The Sword and War from  the land and I will make you lie down in safety and I will betroth you to me forever I will  betroth you to me in righteousness and Injustice in steadfast love and in Mercy I will betroth you  to me in faithfulness and you shall know the Lord and in that

day I will answer declares the Lord  I will answer the heavens and they shall answer the Earth and the Earth shall answer the  grain the wine and the oil and they shall answer Jezreel and I will sow her for myself  in the land and I will have mercy on no mercy and I will say to Not My People You Are My  People and he shall say you are my God [Music] Hosea chapter 3 . [Music] and the Lord said to me  go again love a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress even if the lord loves th

e  children of Israel though they turn to other gods and love cakes of raisins so I bought her for 15  shekels of silver and a homer and a leather of barley and I said to her you must dwell as mine  for many days you shall not play the [ __ ] or belong to another man so will I also be to you  for the children of Israel shall dwell many days without king or Prince without sacrifice  or pillar without ephed or household gods afterward the children of Israel shall return  and seek the Lord their Go

d and David their King and they shall come in fear to the Lord  and to his goodness in the latter days [Music] Hosea chapter 4. [Music] foreign of the Lord O children of Israel for  the Lord has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land there is no faithfulness or steadfast  love and no knowledge of God In the Land There is swearing lying murder stealing and committing  adultery they break all bounds and bloodshed follows Bloodshed therefore the land Mourns and  all who dwell in it languish

and also the beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens  and even the fish of the sea are taken away yet that no one contend and let none accuse  for with you is my contention no priest you shall stumble by day the prophet also shall  stumble with you by night and I will destroy your mother my people are destroyed for lack of  knowledge because you have rejected knowledge I reject you from being a priest to me and since  you have forgotten the law of your God I also will forget your child

ren the more they increased  the more they sinned against me I will change their Glory into shame they feed on the sin of  my people they are greedy for their iniquity and it shall be like people like priests I will punish  them for their ways and repay them for their deeds they shall eat but not be satisfied they shall  play the [ __ ] but not multiply because they have forsaken the Lord to cherish whoredom wine  and new wine which take away the understanding my people inquire of a piece of woo

edom is within them and they know not the Lord  the pride of Israel testifies to his face Israel and Ephraim shall stumble in his guilt Judah  also shall stumble with him with their flocks and herds they shall go to seek the Lord but  they will not find him he has withdrawn from them they have dealt faithlessly with the Lord for  they have borne Alien Children now the new moon shall devour them with their fields blow the horn  and gibia the trumpet in Rhema sound the alarm at Beth Haven we follo

ter two days he will revive us on the third day he will raise us up that we may  live before him let us know let us press on to know the Lord his going out as sure as the dawn  he will come to us as the showers as the spring rains that water the Earth what shall I do with  you o Ephraim what shall I do with you o Judah your love is like a morning cloud like the Dew  that goes early away therefore I have hewn them by the prophets I have slain them by the words of  my mouth and my judgment Goes Fo

rth as the light for I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice  the knowledge of God rather than bird offerings but like Adam they transgressed the Covenant  there they dealt faithlessly with me Gilead is a city of evildoers tracked with  blood as robbers lie and wait for a man so the priests band together they murder on the  way to shechem they commit villainy in the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing  ephraim's whoredom is there Israel is defiled for you also owe Judah a harvest is a

[Music] when I would heal Israel the iniquity of Ephraim  is revealed and the evil Deeds of Samaria for they deal falsely the thief breaks in and the  bandits raid outside but they do not consider that I remember all their evil now their  deeds surround them they are before my face by their evil they make the king glad  and the princes by their treachery they are all adulterers they are like a heated  oven whose Baker ce

strayed from me  destruction to them for they have rebelled against me I would redeem them but they speak  lies against me they do not cry to me from the heart but they wail upon their beds for grain and  wine they gash themselves they rebel against me although I trained and strengthened their arms  yet they devise evil against me they return but not upward they are like a treacherous bow  their princes shall fall by the sword because of the insolence of their tongue this shall be  their derisi

[Music] set the trumpet to your lips one like a vulture  is over the house of the Lord because they have transgressed by Covenant and rebelled against  my law to me they cry my God we Israel know you Israel has spurned the good the enemy shall pursue  him they made Kings but not through me they set up princes but I knew it not with their silver and  gold they made Idols for their own destruction I have spurned your calf o Samaria my anger Burns  a

gainst them how long will they be incapable of innocence for it is from Israel a Craftsman made  it it is not God the calf of Samaria shall be broken to pieces for they sow the wind and they  shall reap the Whirlwind the standing grain has no heads it shall yield no flower if it were  to yield strangers would devour it Israel is swallowed up already there among the Nations as  a useless vessel for they have gone up to Assyria a wild donkey wandering alone Ephraim has hired  lovers though they hi

re allies among the Nations I will soon gather them up and the Kings and  princes shall soon writhe because of the tribute because Ephraim has multiplied altars for sinning  they have become to him altars for sinning were I to write for him my laws by the ten thousands  they would be regarded as a strange thing as for my sacrificial offerings they sacrifice  meat and eat it but the Lord does not accept them now he will remember their iniquity and  punish their sins they shall return to Egypt for

Israel has forgotten his maker and built  palaces Judah has multiplied fortified cities so I will send a fire upon his cities  and it shall devour her strongholds [Music] Hosea chapter 9. [Music] Rejoice not o Israel exalt not like the peoples  for you have played the [ __ ] forsaking your God you have loved a prostitute's wages on  all threshing floors threshing floor and wine vat shall not feed them and the new wine shall  fail them they shall not remain in the land of the Lord but Ephraim sh

or us they utter mere words with empty Oaths they make covenants so judgments brings up  like poisonous weeds in the furrows of the field the inhabitants of Samaria tremble for the calf  of Beth Haven it's people mourn for it and so do its idolatrous priests those who rejoiced over it  and over its glory for it has departed from them the thing itself shall be carried to  Assyria as tribute to the great king Ephraim shall be put to shame and  Israel shall be ashamed of his Idol samaria's King Sha

hem because  of their own councils my people are bent on turning away from me and though they call out to  the most high he shall not raise them up at all how can I give you APO Ephraim how can I hand you  over o Israel how can I make you like adma how can I treat you like zaboyam my heart recoils  within me my compassion grows warm and tender I will not execute my Burning Anger I will not  again destroy Ephraim for I am God and not a man the Holy One in your midst and I will  not come in Wrath

[Music] return o Israel to the Lord your God for  you have stumbled because of your iniquity take with you words and return to the Lord say  to him take away all iniquity accept what is good and we will pay with Bulls the vows of our  lips a serious shall not save us we will not ride on horses and we will say no more Our God to the  work of our hands in you the orphan finds Mercy I will heal their apostasy I will love them freely  for my anger has turned from them I will be li
