oming you can of feel it we're going to head a little north of La yeah and you know I've traveled over 90 countries and territories internationally but a lot of my favorite spring break destinations that are budget friendly are local right here in Southern California starting with Ventura now Ventura is just a great place for a Charming Beachside town uh it's home to the X Games that are coming up this June so bring a towel a picnic basket and enjoy Ventura's crowd-free beaches explore The Pedes
trian downtown which is lined with boutiques and fabulous delicious bites and if you are wanting to head to the Wild Side head out to Channel Islands which is just off the coast of Ventura you can hike with the island foxes and enjoy some sun and fun and a little bit of water play lots of things to do over in the Channel Islands and in Ventura they call it Ventura Vibes which I love cuz you really feel that Beach Community up there it is beautiful yeah it really is um all right the next destinat
ion uh really popular or well-known iconic gy of the desert linta yes linta has so much to offer families there's a hiking trail over in linta Cove as well as the linta museum which has history and cultural exhibits great for the kids to learn and they have it first of all it's free to get into the museum and they have rotating art exhibits also check out the farmers market in Oldtown linta on Sunday starts at 8:00 a.m. lots of of fun treats and neat stalls and the lint Resort and Club they have
41 pools uh to choose from and um they're announcing this here today linta Resort is offering the double your spring package so normally you get $50 credit they're offering $100 credit per night to use at the resort for dining for spa treatments activities retail therapy you name it and I don't know if you saw the golden Bachelor wedd but that was filmed at that iconic Hotel so interesting it's such a beautiful a the desert you can't eat it so beautiful all right so just north of Malibu there's
like a little secret place I've never heard of yes Malibu Beach sorry Mandalay Beach and oxen our chores it is so beautiful it's like you said just about an hour north above Malibu perfect for swimming surfing relaxing it's 7 miles of beautiful uncrowded beaches views of the Channel Islands and they have the all new all sweet zakari Dunes right on Mandalay Beach it was voted number one hotel um new hotel by USA Today readers and it has lots of fun activities for the family like cookie decoratin

ich you might need to upgrade you know increase the size by the time you're done sounds like a lot of fun yes all right the next uh is Idol wild up in the sanito mountains yes Idol wild is so beautiful it's known for all of its hiking if you want a really challenging hike head up to Devil Slide Trail it's an 8 mile hike but it will take you to the um the starter Trail for the sento peak if you want something more beginner head up to otta wild Park Trail it's about 5 miles long and you're right i
nto the San Bernardino National Forest and stop by Mama's B house for some of the best breakfast burritos which you can take before you go and enjoy a nice breakfast in the forest and if hiking isn't your thing Idol wild has been a a top place for artists since the 60s and 70s um lots of galleries antique shops and um eclectic art shops including Mountain Mike's custom leather which is really fun he's like the Daniel Boon of Idol wild and if you're looking for a place to stay there's the grand I
