Citizenship Amendment Act, a controversial act that caused protests across the country. The All Assam Students Union came out on the street in different parts of the state to protest against the implementation of the act. SDPI, the political outfit, has launched protests in Chennai and Tamil Nadu. Protesting against a law that they say excludes them based solely on religion. This law has started to be opposed in Delhi. The students of Jamia Milia Islamia have opposed this act. On one side is the
Modi government, who says that through this act we will bring a revolution in India. We had announced in the 2019 elections in the Indian People's Party's announcement letter. And I never said that. I always said that this is a stone's throw and it will happen. With their allegations that the Congress government had promised its people that they will give shelter to our mothers and sisters in India. They will pass the CAA. But in the greed of power, they did not fulfill this promise. This is al
so the promise of the leaders of the Congress party. When the country was divided, there were a lot of minorities in the country. Hindus, Bahu, Jains, Christians. They were being persecuted. Everyone wanted to run away. At that time, the Congress party had promised that whenever you come to India, you will be welcomed. You will be given citizenship. Then they refused. On the other side is the opposition party, who says that the CAA law of the Modi government is absolutely illegal. And this is BJ
P's conspiracy to take away the citizenship of Muslims in India. To make Muslims a second class citizen. And in the end, to make India a Hindu nation. Asaduddin Obasi has made a big allegation that the Muslim community wants to make it a second class citizen. And if there has always been a target of BJP, then it has always been Muslims. If you look at the CAA, then it has only targeted Muslims. So what is the truth? What exactly does the CAA say? Is it really necessary to scare the minorities of
our country, especially Muslims? Is it really a conspiracy of the Modi government to make secular India a Hindu nation? And finally, is it a master blow of BJP to win the elections of 2024? Well friends, before you make any opinion, you have to understand the perspectives of both sides. You can't prove or disprove any argument until you understand where that argument actually comes from. Indian politics is based on narratives. And these narratives are based on both sides. Ruling political party
and opposition party are based on both sides. And these narratives are often not based on facts. Or they are increased to manipulate the common people. Now you must have seen the classic example. Swara Bhaskar was bashing the CAA very aggressively. But when she was asked about the details of the CAA, that exactly what clauses you have a problem with, have you read the CAA properly? So look at her answer. You have read the act. I have brought the act for you. I have read the relevant section. so
called actors ki bhi. Badkismati yeh hai ki information pura pura hamare paas hai nahi, toh isi liye uspe tipni dena humko lagta nahi hamari jagge hai. Malab law ke baare mein actual mein zero knowledge hai, lekin fir bhi compulsively dharna karna hai, iske khilaf vidro karna hai aur dusro ko bhi gumraha karna hai. Aur hume exactly inhi ki tara nahi banna hai. Bina dono parties ke logical arguments ko samjhe, favoritism ki giruft mein aakar ek hi party ke narrative mein agar hum aakhay bandh ka
rke believe kar lenge, toh yeh andh bhakti hi hui na. Ab ek dam blunt baat agar bolu, toh most of the media channels, even majority of youtubers, aapko sirf one sided perspective hi dete. Lekin saath saalo tak, India ka the biggest independent science channel chalane ke baat, hamari research methodology itni strong ho gayi hai ki hum har ek mudde ke ek dam jad tak jate hai. Ab aapko pohya jaha paate hai aur scientific methodology ko hi use karke sirf aur sirf logic ke basis pari rational conclus
ions par aate, naaki narratives aur emotions ke bhehkave mein aakar. Aur isi liye I would highly recommend, aap iss video ko ikdam antak dekhe taaki CA ko lekar aapka poora confusion hi dhur ho jaye. Hum iss act ke pro aur anti dono sides ke sare points aapke saamne rakhenge. In fact humne apne khud ke research se aise bhi kuch sawal khade kiye hain jo opposition bhi nahi khade kar raha. Sirf isi liye, takki aapko meri baat nahi sunna pade. You can decide for yourself if this law is right or wro
ng for our country So look, under the Citizenship Amendment Act, till 31st December 2024 All the refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan who have come to India illegally This act will give them legally India's citizenship Whether they are of any religion, Hindu, Sikh, Jains, Buddhists, Christians or Parsis Meaning, they can settle here very easily But according to Section 2, if a Muslim comes here, he won't get citizenship And exactly this is the biggest issue of the opposition That why
this discrimination with Muslims? Now their second counterpoint or blame is That CAA will be a final master blow for the 2024 elections A final nail in the coffin which will win the elections 100% in 2024 So look, as we all know, election dates have been announced So if BJP is going to win the elections, then it will be a final blow If non-Muslims are made citizens, then BJP will take two steps forward with one arrow. I mean, imagine that you've been living in the country as an illegal immigrant
for almost 70 years. And suddenly, one day, you get the citizenship of that country. You will vote for BJP in any situation, right? And maybe that's why Modi was so confident that this time BJP will easily get 400 seats. NDA will be able to get 400 seats. But BJP will get 370 seats. Now, their third blame is that CAA is unconstitutional. Opposition, especially Congress Party, has an argument that this act is not legal. It's illegal. Because it's clearly violating Article 15. Which clearly says
that the government cannot discriminate against citizens on any basis. But in the CAA Act, you saw clearly that the government is discriminating against citizens on the basis of religion. In the same way, the opposition also has an argument that the original Citizenship Act of 1955, Section 10 does not allow any legal immigrant to be a citizen in the country. And that's why, according to them, CAA is clearly illegal. Now, their fourth main allegation is that this act will turn India into a crime
hub. Arvind Kejriwal has told the CAA a big threat to India. Because, according to him, the doors of India will now open for Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. And in our country, crimes like theft, robbery, and rape will suddenly increase. All the laws and regulations will come into force. The thefts, robberies, and rapes will increase in our country. All the laws and regulations. And I don't know how people will come there. What will happen to the security system of our country? There wil
l be riots all around. Why have they brought these laws? They are saying that BJP only wants to make their vote expensive by bringing in 1.5 crore people. Once this issue is started, once the doors are opened, then in a very large number of cases, Pakistanis, Now this argument also seems quite genuine because if you look at it, the illegal immigrants who come to the country, they do some illegal work because they don't have proper documents. Now in Mysore too, last year's news is that many Bangl
adeshi illegal immigrants were caught. Now usually it happens that because these immigrants don't have any legal documents, they don't have any job in India or legally do any business. Like prostitution, human trafficking, in Bangladesh there is a complete nexus of cattle smuggling. Which recently burst. Also selling fake products is also a big scam which has become quite common in India. In fact, such a big scam happened to me too. Wait, let me tell you the whole story. So a few months ago, Seo
n and his sister Radha came to meet me from Karnataka's Hakki Pikki community. This community used to hunt in the jungles, but there was no wildlife protection. The government banned their hunting. After that, they had to start a business by utilizing the resources of their village. In the jungles of that village, rare herbs were found and with these herbs, they started making spices and herbal oil at home and started selling it. Now in all this, their Adivasi herbal hair oil became quite popula
r because it was helping people's hair growth. Graying, dandruff, all these problems are becoming very common today. But due to the natural herbs of the jungles present in this oil, all these problems were being solved. Today I got the opportunity to meet the brothers and sisters of my Hakki Piki community in Karnataka. But because these poor people used to go to houses or go to exhibitions and sell their oil, some scammers stole their videos and started selling their fake oil at a very low pric
e. This was causing a lot of loss to a hardworking community, but it doesn't stop over there. A few days ago, Mr. Seon came to meet me from this Hakki Piki community and he told me that this is also a scam with their oil. So there are a lot of scams in the market with the Hakki Piki community about this oil. So how to identify what is a fake product and what is a real product? So sir, in Mysore, apart from the Hakki Piki community, no one manufactures this product. After placing the product once
, verify the address details so that you know whether you have got the original product or not. Now after listening to this, I started giving awareness on my science channel. I also made a video to get more information. But the limit was crossed when the scammers stole that video and used my face without permission. Instead of their original Adivasi Nilaambari hair oil, they started selling their fake oil online. Look friends, if you see any of my ads on any other channel or platform other than
my channel, especially on Facebook, then these are fake ads. They are being made viral by running ads so that scammers can sell their fake products with trust. Now let's talk about this. But there are only 10-12 such families who are still making this oil not commercially but traditionally at home. And because of this, the results of their own oil are the best. Here, Sionji and his family are one such family who are still making original and high quality oil. Their 3 months oil course charge is
Rs.1500. And apart from this, if someone is selling this oil at a low price, then that may be a fake product. So if you want to buy real oil, then don't buy it before any ecom site. Secondly, to verify the seller, you can see the video here. You can also call this video which scammers don't allow. The numbers are And thirdly, if this product doesn't work for you, then you can return it to a return address which scammers don't allow. So hopefully, you can differentiate between real and fake hair
oil now. And now let's jump back to our topic. So now let's move on to the 5th and last major allegation of the opposition. After which, we will also cover the side of the story of BJP. So the 5th allegation is that through BJPCA, India will become a religious school. So till now, India has always had the same stance at the global level that India will not become a religious school. And because of this, India is not even the signatory of the UN Charter for Refugees of 1951. Which says that you h
ave to give refuge to the refugees in your country. And the reason for this move of India was also very simple and valid. You can see the condition of any country around us. All the countries are very unstable. And India is also a developing country. So if we allow the refugees from our neighbouring countries to come here, then crores of people will come to India together. For whom we don't have the resources here. So now the question here is that why is the government making India a religious s
chool through the CAA? Now friends, you know the perspective of the opposition parties. But I had told you in the beginning that before making an opinion, it is very important to know the perspectives of both sides. And that's why we saw only one side of the coin. So now let's know what the other side of the coin, that is those who are supporting this act, has to say. So well, for that, we understand the CAA law once and for all. On 11th December 2019, the Citizenship Amendment Act was passed by
the Parliament. This is a small change in an already existing act of 1955. So before 2019, because the Citizenship Act was in effect in 1955, then there were only 5 ways to get citizenship in India. Which will still be applicable after this new amendment. But now in 2019, after the CAA was passed, there have been 2 changes. First, of time. Meaning, legally, the time period of at least 11 years to get citizenship, will now be reduced to 5 years. The second modification is of illegal migrants. Be
fore this, no religion from our neighbouring countries could apply for illegal immigrants citizenship. But now, after this amendment, the illegal immigrants who came till 31st December 2024, if they have been living in India for more than 5 years, then they can legally apply for Indian citizenship. And then, whether they are Hindu, Sikh, Parsi or Christian, but if they are Muslim, then they can't apply for citizenship. Now naturally, the biggest question that anyone will have is, why was this do
ne only with the Muslim community? Doesn't India want to give shelter to Muslims? So to understand this from an overall perspective, we need to understand the background. Before independence, Bangladesh and Pakistan used to be part of India. But after the partition, these countries openly declared themselves as Islamic Republic. Meaning, they declared Islam as their state religion. Now, what happened is, the non-Muslims there didn't have any constitutional rights. Their situation there started d
eteriorating with the rising of the times. Today, in Pakistan, for example, there is only 1% Hindu population, which was 24% during the time of independence. Can you imagine that? Directly 1% from 24%. Meaning, the entire quarter population of the country was suddenly destroyed. Reason? Persecution of minorities. There are many cases where non-Muslim girls are kidnapped, gang raped, forced conversion, and the most unfortunate thing is, all of this is common. But the Pakistani police, even refuse
to register such cases. Even in Pakistan's law, it is written that, the president, higher authorities, even junior government officers, should be Muslims. And because of this, there is not a single Hindu judge in the Supreme Court. Many Hindus there don't even have the right to vote. In fact, during the time of COVID, Hindus and Christians were even told that if they want ration, then they should convert to Islam. And the same situation is present in Bangladesh today. Their constitution is also
fundamentally biased towards Islamic religion. Due to which non-Muslims don't get any rights there. And even there, the Hindu population has decreased from 30% to only 7%. In fact, a book has also been written on this issue, which says that, if this discrimination is not stopped soon, then in the next 30 years, not a single Hindu will remain in Bangladesh. And this is their biggest counterpoint from the side of BJP. They say that, CAA is not for Hindus, but for persecuted minorities. And that's
why, naturally, this law does not benefit the non-persecuted majority. Because these minorities of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, were part of India at one time. They are our own mothers and sisters, who are still suffering there. And if they want to take shelter in India to get relief from this, then shouldn't they be allowed to do so? When the partition took place, 23% of the Hindus were in Pakistan. Today, only 3.7% are left. Where did all of them go? So many of them didn't come here.
Religion was violated. Religion was violated. They were humiliated. And anyway, according to the history of India, we have given shelter to persecuted minorities in the country every time. And whether they are Persians from Iran, or even Jews. In many places, Jewish people suffered. In many places, Jewish people faced institutionalized discrimination. In India, the Jewish community was never persecuted. Now, the next turn of BJP is that these persecuted minorities will get shelter in India. Thi
s promise was made by Congress itself. But then, in order to do minority appeasement politics, they did not fulfill this promise. But when BJP is doing the same thing today, they are opposing it. And the leaders of Congress themselves have been talking about freedom So look, it's not like that at all. There is not a single clause in this entire act in which any citizenship has been cancelled. And then why doesn't that citizen belong to any religion? Think for yourself, the act on which citizensh
ip has been given, why will it cancel someone's citizenship? It means, if you are an Indian Muslim citizen, then you don't need to be afraid of the narratives of these political leaders. In fact, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan's Muslims can also get citizenship from India, but for that, they will have to follow the legal process. The best example of this is Pakistani singer Adnan Sami, who today has become an Indian citizen by following the legal procedure. Now, as we already know, some p
olitical leaders are also saying that CAA is against the Constitution. Because the government is discriminating against citizens based on religion. But here, in the case of opposition, there is a major problem. There is no constitutional restriction on what kind of law should be applied to a foreigner, right? So, this loophole is also often not told. Whoever is against CAA is only telling half the truth and spreading a one-sided narrative on their own. And the same thing is said about the statem
ent of the opposition that if India is made a religious place, then that is also completely wrong according to the government. Now, take the example of Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu. The Hindus there are not so oppressed and persecuted. And that is why we have included them in this act. This law is only for persecuted minorities. Persecuted means those who have been able to endure injustice on the basis of their religion. Like, before World War II, Jews and Nazis were in Germany. But yes, on this who
le issue, the opposition is absolutely right that after CAA is implemented, the Hindu vote will increase. Now look, hypothetically, given some time, if 1.5 crore Hindus come from these countries, then most of them, if not all, will vote for BJP. So BJP can easily win 11 extra seats. Because according to DTE, to win 1 seat, it takes a minimum of 14-15 lakh votes. And finally, the same thing is said about Arvind Kejriwalji that if crimes increase in India, then look, these refugees have already co
me to India. Many have been living here since before 2014. And if we look at the data, then after 2014, crime rates in India are decreasing. Delhi's Chief Minister says, he is raising questions. He said, blind people will come. BJP will give them citizenship. From that, theft, robberies, rape will increase. Delhi's Chief Minister doesn't know that all these people have come. They are living in India. It's not just that they didn't get the right, it's about giving them the right. Those who came t
ill 2014, they have to give them citizenship. And they are so worried. So why don't they talk about Bangladeshi ghuspetis? So the argument that you heard, I personally didn't find it so sensible. But as I said earlier, when we personally looked at both sides of this issue, when we tried to understand each other, then we found two more strong points in this law that even the opposition itself is not taking. There is no issue of religion or caste in this. But according to me, it is a bigger issue
than that. Because this is a matter of our country's national security. Threat to India. So the first disadvantage, which I personally feel can be converted into a threat, is the naturalization period. So the naturalization period is a process in which, after living in India for 11 years, even a foreigner becomes eligible for Indian citizenship. Now BJP has made this term of 11 years from the CAA of 2019 to 5 years. Which can be problematic. Because if we look at a country like the US, then thei
r naturalization period is 134 years. Does anyone live that long? Even in the UAE, where there are so many Indians, this period is 30 years. So is it really right to give India citizenship in just 5 years? Because if this process becomes easy or short, then refugees and minorities, will immediately come to India. But we have already discussed this problem, that India doesn't have that many resources, at least for now. And the second threat, which is felt by this act, is the national security thr
eat. If you think about it, if any ISI agent becomes a Hindu, Sikh, or a Parsi, comes to India and tells them, that I have been living here since 2014, so I want citizenship. So India is not an anti-national in the face of that minority. How will it be able to verify this? And if the difference is not right, then it can become a national security threat for India. Already, India's security agencies have openly said that the leader of the Khalistan protest, Amritpal Singh, was an ISI planted agen
t. Even in the Indian embassy of Russia, we learned about an ISI planted agent after 14 years. And the Indian raw agents, like Ajit Doval, were also living in Pakistan as Muslims for 7 years. And no one even recognized them. And so, on these issues, not only the opposition, but we too, should raise the question. Because the government says that all the people who will get citizenship, they can become the big profiles of the country, like MP, MLA, even the Prime Minister. Now, yes, we can make th
e security and procedure for citizenship very stringent, but the procedure to get the Aadhar card is also very strict. But fake Aadhar cards are still being made. And that too in the number of lakhs. In the number of thousands, illegal Bangladeshi and Pakistani people are caught, who make fake Aadhar cards for 2000-3000 rupees, and at night, they become the legal citizens of India. And that's why, according to me, this can be a big national security threat, if we don't pay attention to it. And u
nfortunately, if you look at this, not a single politician is raising their voice on this issue. But anyway, I have told you all the pro and anti arguments of this act. Now, you can take a rational decision on this, you can pass a judgment according to you. You don't need to be a part of a crowd like them. But if you look at the details, it seems like something can happen. It seems like something can happen. I mean, if you read what's written in it, it seems like it's a possibility. If everythin
g was okay, why would so many people be concerned? People will keep spreading narratives, people will keep getting trapped in narratives. Like recently, a narrative caught a lot of attention, that PM Modi is a dictator. And almost all opposition parties, some big news channels and influencers, were circulating this concern. Why is the dictator saying this? Modi is a dictator, a man worse than Hitler. If Modi ji, wins the elections of 2024, then from next time, elections will stop and the taunts
will start. But what is the reality? Is India really looking towards a dictatorial regime? Well, we have already made a detailed and unbiased video on this, which you can click here to watch. This concern will be clear from the root level, forever.
