hi everyone it's me can I find Britain's oldest pubs that is the challenge today for those of you who don't know me my name is Elena and I'm a Canadian but I have been living here in the UK for the last eight years today we are doing a geoguesser challenge all to do with Britain's oldest pubs and I can't read a map so for those of you who aren't familiar with geog guesser basically it is a game where it plops you down somewhere in the world based on the map that you choose and you have to figure

t time I've done this map and I am nervous and I'm just GNA say it right now you guys are probably going to be screaming at your screens um because it's probably going to be very evident where we are but not for me so hope that's not too annoying here we go oldest pubs we are having no time limit because of who I am as a person okay we can do this this is fine what is this is this the the shirt no of course not it's the skurd in now this feels like a Scottish word because I don't know what that
means never mind it's whale's oldest pub okay beautiful is there something better than a pub picnic bench on a sunny day I don't think so all right well we're in Wales but where we kind of oh a brown sign is my biggest friend okay nature reserve and I gonna assume these are two locations um we'll have to look at the map in a second more Herford that's very English isn't it are we kind of close which way is Herford don't look at my Hereford okay what was the other word abanin oh aberaman okay so

les as well this is fun okay we got to be in Wells Wales obviously oh lanthony is right here okay how far away is that six I have no sense of um distance so um that is going to be an issue oh Kim kimy okay hey Queen's head surely you think that this Pub would show up right okay let's go back to the beginning can we see what this road is called I actually haven't been very far sorry about that what's this street called love skuid Mountain okay okay is skuid the little locality perhaps is it is it
legitimately the the oh there's a church here we love a good church let's have a look at that St Michael's something church is that Chapel but it got cut off Parish of whales I love you what's with all the fun words eh can we see a St Michaels skewed sked mountain in St Michaels is that what that's called now it's more of an inn than it is a [Music] um the skewed in scared mountain in guys we're right here and I feel pretty confident about that wo all right how long did that take I don't know w
e are going to do the full map so we'll get the scores and and everything at the end very excited about that one oo flying high okay we can figure this out so this was 1251 which is very cool rebuilt in 1636 which is insane in this ancient Hosley James Stanley 7eventh Earl of Darby passed his last few hours of his life previous to his execution oh all right this is nice does anyone recognize this beautiful um cobblestones and they actually look like they've been taken care of we got the swan nex

o obvious where you are because of the telephone area codes my guy I don't even know the area codes in Canada where I am from you think I'm going to know the area codes of this country absolutely not can we see Bolton hey I know where I know where one Bolton is it's up here in it whereabouts not in Manchester but kind of close to it right here is that the same Bolton we looked pretty um like a really nice Main Road God there's so many what was was it Ye Old Man was it here let's go hold on ye ol

nd that worries me okay so cotswalds were kind of like here right hey I just went to chelham well not just went but recently okay there's a lot of names down here though it started with an S not strw I hope we don't have to be too close up oh was it the king hold on rewind what's the pub even called oh no it's the porch house this is a very unique name I can't say that I've ever porch like the king's head is so common right the porch house very very different oh my God diddly squat Farm [Laughte

I have done um a quick pass through in this area looking for bra Spear and I have not found it which is now I'm starting to panic so I'm I'm looking quicker now which I know I'm not supposed to I'm starting to worry what if I don't find it I was doing so well um but it's just I don't see it and I am only looking at the the green part of the map like this could be just on the outside there's so many names though do you know what I mean like the UK in general just has so many names you don't see

ondon was just kind of like picked up and plopped someplace else um the only problem um the people we were with that who live there were saying like it's a beautiful place and they love living there but you do you're kind of just on your own like you can't get to places super easy it's not too far from um Bristol why are all these signs blurred out I need help you're not too far from Bristol and stuff but like they never go you know it's just like slightly too far that you just don't bother okay
I need to I need to really pay attention because I am starting to freak out okay we know that we're kind why are all these signs messed up oh my God please we already know um chelam and whatever the other one was is kind of in this area but this doesn't help me because I'm really bad with signs can you believe I just said that I'm really bad with signs and I'm playing a game that is solely based on reading signs what's the other ones what's Stratford hey we have a Stratford in Canada if you can
believe it do we think it's Stratford upon Avon God we're all we're just like right in here where is it I refuse to give up but this round is taking me so much longer than that last one it really does help when you have a general sense of where things are obviously Town Center Morton in Marsh what the hell is that is that the place Morton in that cannot be a real name surely not oh my God it is is this where we were it's not bra Spear and I have been looking around for Brax Bear all this time o
r is it just on the outskirts okay I went back to the beginning we are on dig Beth Street um and I also noticed like a lot of these places have CAU swalled in the name like the street we were on I kind thought this was like a main road but I didn't think it was in Morton in but maybe it's like a little like sub place I honestly don't know I'm starting to panic I've already been I've been panicking this whole time I'm not starting to panic I have always been panicking I feel like this one is so o
bvious too and everybody's going to be screaming okay so I just went down the street and I found the Bell which is the heart of Stow on the world we are in a this another place so we've seen a sign for this place does this place even come up on the map Town Center which town my love which town okay welcome to Stow on the world historic Market town now we we walked to um on MASH which is not the right name we want Stow on the W but that is not ringing a bell oh my God it is ringing a bell we were
on dig bth weren't we this this round has killed me dig bth Street oh my God steuart we're going to have words oh my God that's taken me like almost 25 minutes okay that really um took the wind out of my sales but we got there in the end all right and I'm going to have to edit the ab abute crap out of that section that's fine moving right along this is beautiful the old fairy boat in green King all right looks nice it's time for brunch it's always time for a brunch okay so this is concerning be
cause we are aware that's a good question isn't it question of the hour we are just really out here in the middle of nowhere Stuart how could you do this okay for future reference we are on hollywell front so that's going to be an issue my coffee got cold I was so distracted on that last one okay we're going to be beautiful spot I'm just going to keep going along this road and pray that we get out at some point if that's not too much of a bother okay we've come up to a church but I don't see a s

onies in Canada if you're kind of like in the middle of nowhere you're like wow we're out in the boonies that's where we are right now suddenly a cold sweat has just enveloped me is this a school passionate about the power of Play WA where though my love where hollyw hollywell Primary School oh Cambridge Shear County Council needing worth sometimes I I've lived in the UK for eight years sometimes I see some of these place names needle needing worth that literally cannot be a real word okay Cambr

not me oh this is gorgeous imagine living across the road from the pub although to be fair I lived beside a pub before and um it's all right I think the nice thing is that most pubs especially like Countryside pubs they shut pretty early you know it's not like 3:00 a.m. and people are are still partying it's like pretty quiet for the most part until you get someone puking in your bushes this is gorgeous I love a bit of stone stone work beautiful but where is duding dudingston it kind of it feels
like it rings a bell I feel like there's a dotting tin or something similar in Kent where they make cider but I don't think it's duding tin this looks like different I don't know Church of Scotland all right well that helps doesn't it but where do we think maybe closer to civilization like maybe around down here maybe it's not going to pop up this far is it [Laughter] we don't have time for that all right I've done a quick scan I don't see ding tin unfortunately I wonder if we can see another s
ign perhaps to give us a general area because Scotland is kind of a large place maybe not large but there's a lot of names Holly rude High School city of Ed city of we're in Edinburgh o Ikea Edinburgh well we were in dudingston so is do we think that's that could either be like a sub like a neighborhood in Edinburgh or I was kind of thinking perhaps it's like just on the edge Oh no just kidding okay dingon here we are all right um do you guys remember what the was it the sheep head I remember se
