Can Young People Read a Clock?

Times have changed a lot. Even the way we tell time has changed. When Jimmy was a kid they learned how to tell time in school which made him wonder if young people even know how to read a clock anymore. So we went out on the street to ask people to tell us what time it is using an old analog clock in a new edition of #CanYouDoIt? Everytime I feel dumb I just watch one of these segments and realise I'm dumb but not THAT dumb

@halofreak1398

I love how the last guy looks even more confused after he says AM or PM

@TheWealthGenerator

As soon as I saw the title I knew these people would disappoint me.

@TheGoldSwordSquad

Clocks still exist though in public spaces, homes and schools. It’s not like they’re no longer in use

@silencer6805

3 kinds people in this world: 1. Old people 2. Young people 3. Pedestrians in JK show 🤣🤣🤣

@yawoelevn

The lady said 4:37 and people clapped? Why? They thought it was really 4:37?

@stephaneclerc667

I don't think you could find a single person in Switzerland that can't read a clock... My 4yo nephew can.. Seriously...

@cfh86

I'm 17 and I'm making and selling my own homemade clocks. I didn't realize how many people couldn't read a clock. I have a friend who can't either. The best thing to do is to teach them so that they would know for next time. Each number equals 5 minutes. The lines between represents one minute. The short hand is the hour hand. The long hand is the minute hand. The thin hand is the second hand. They'll learn if you teach them, not male fun of them. We never know someone's situation.

@astonleonard7509

His face when he asked am or pm

@nnnn12361

Where the hell did you find these people? People still wear analog watches on their hands, you know. This is not an ancient thing lol

@peterbernard8576

The best part of this video is that it starts at 9:46 AM and ends at 6:48 PM. Love to see how many young people they had to ask to get the 5 who gave the answers they wanted.

@JoshuaOtusanya

If you’re reading this amazing things are coming your way in 2019 -Josh Otusanya

@marschap5135

Something is hella wrong with the US

@adeymanny

1:29 Guy: Yes I think I've got it ... Jim :AM or PM ? Guy: ?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!!

@hbhehbhe1803

This is not reflection of millennials but a reflection of the education system

@carterweiss8053

As a high schooler I can confirm that this is perfectly accurate.

@trudyziegler4977

On Canada we used to learn at home. Was covered later in school “just in case” parents didn’t teach them.

@noone8130

Cant relate I was watching the clock all the time in school

@PanickedTato

My 13-year old definitely cannot tell time using an analog clock. They taught it once in each elementary grade (K-5) for a literal week. That's it. They also no longer teach cursive in schools so a "signature" isn't anything different than a printed name. The world has changed.

@UnitZER0

As a kid, I wasn't allowed to have a digital watch until I could tell time on an analog one...
