Car Based Survival Game? - Terratech Worlds Demo

hey y'all iron here and today we are playing Tarotech Worlds now originally wasn't gonna play this game out of the next best demo but I played the tutorial and actually had a lot of fun with it so I decided to give it a shot so it's kind of loaded up here no more Wendy's actually just go into the demo world that they have and I've been really having hankering for a car ish game I should say um and when I started playing this tutorial remind me kind of a Banjo Kazooie Nuts and bolts which is actu

ally something I wanna eventually record and put up on this channel um so I decided hey you know what let's go ahead and give this a shot I'll uh I'll do a quick little play through the demo recording upload it um and just see how it is and have some fun with it hey y'all this is future iron chiming in really quick uh hit a bug was playing the first run through of this game um within like the first 5 minutes so thankfully I just restarted but I hit a bug where my uh my car got blown up and when

I respond it didn't respond the parts with it so massive issue there so I actually had to restart so I'm gonna do is actually feed you in into the you know the second playthrough aka you know fixing the game and getting restarted so hop on in alright so we are back and hopefully this is a lot less curse than the other run alright um let's see let's get that on there and then we need to get okay we need to get this set down and we'll get a ramp on there and then we'll claim it alright um we need

to get the iron stuff and this just kind of cracks so we'll kind of just warm it up ran out of power let's break this little guy in this little guy oh back it up I ran out of power oh that's weird so if you get stuck in that little crevice you're screwed you gotta jump out all right I need to craft some platforms again and we'll build this base yeah so that run we just did went really bad and hopefully this will be a little bit better um wants us to place the platforms again see that's so weird

I wonder why is it being so finicky about catching seems like if you move the camera though it's better and we need a workbench and AC carburetor put the workbench here and the power there alright we need to click carbon so let's go back to our nemesis here and then what do we do can we just shoot him alright so if you're way too close it'll bump you back but can I blow them up okay well I gave me a lot that's really nice so we'll blow this guy up too um oh jeez it's weird though okay I gotta re

member what the front of my car is okay so that went a lot better it seems like maybe you just gotta puff them up three times and blow them up so let's see here we gotta go to the workbench and we gotta put carbon in the generator and turn it on and they're both on the same platform so we are good to go now how do I fast transfer alt wait why did it I'm not clicking that though is it considered no I want this very odd it seems to be off I don't know and when I say off it seems to be like the mou

se curse isn't where I think it is alright power on the workbench alright it's on is this on alright that's on and that's on but it's on the same platform isn't it or do I need to like move it like here let's find out machine on thank you all right and then this is idle this is being a little finicky I don't know why let's grab this and try putting it under here same with you is that what's going on it's on and this is off hmm put carbon in the generator and switch it on and switch the workbench

on off off okay turn that on turn that on hmm I don't know am I missing something big here I feel like I'm not uh let's look around says it's idle machine on oh there's something with the power grid you have to turn on machines off okay machine why does it say grid power unpowered okay okay that's on it's powered wow y'all I apologize that was terrible in my part definitely not as intuitive I maybe it's just me it could be me as well I will wholly admit that alright we need to make a supply fab

ricator here let's see what's a supply fabricator look like here we go and let's see here and crafts ammunition okay so what do you need can I just autofill you so let's take a look at this 8 iron and two carbon okay and then I'll take that and I assume it wants me to put it down alright so we're gonna go back to the build menu and steal one of these and we're gonna try to put it down here yes thank you all right it is powered and then we need the craft light ammo okay up there we go all right l

ight ammo and now this needs aluminum and carbon and I have neither so we need to find aluminum and carbon now what was this again now this isn't gonna give me any aluminum is it uh oh it did okay uh so let's just gather some of these there we go and it handed me some aluminum debris okay and then we need more carbon so I wonder if blowing it up is actually my issue here so let's go check out these over here run into them yeah so it seems like mining it with the lasers actually more detrimental

oh some sounds like a storms coming oh yeah look at that you can see it over here starting to form up alright so I can't jump apparently so let's turn and go that's really cool kind of hear the storm in the background alright so we need to make 100 of this so let's just auto fill it oh I need to make oh is that making only 10 per turn oh yeah okay so I need nine more now is there a way to say like hey I just want nine or is it just oh you just fill it up until you have the amount of materials yo

u need alright so we'll let that go for a second here and how fast is this burning carbon okay now I'll just dump the rest of the carbon in there and we'll check on this almost done little unintuitive with the whole powering on the platform and stuff like that I wish that was a little bit easier I'm definitely getting a little backwards at points with stuff um but sometimes that can just be about learning the game alright we need to craft the refinery now and that requires copper so let's go fin

d some copper now what would provide copper around here do I need to travel up the mountain or just further away from my base okay well here's a dude oh he's not friendly and I think he's stuck as well so let's just try to piece them in there all right is he done for can I steal his stuff oh wait oh cameras really messing with me there okay all right back up and turn I assume there's gonna be tires or something like that that make it easier to get up and down and we're gonna head up the mountain

here oh jeez I'm just getting caught on everything it's because I'm driving backwards yeah I think it is needed to be more visible where I'm facing as I'm really getting backwards at points uh oh there's something up here oh boy no that's not working alright let's see if we can go over here oh there's whatever that green stuff is it's right there too let's back up sounds like something's blowing up over there now this is coop right which I'm assume has copper in it and it's all rolling down the

hill anyways oh battery definitely seems like uh something you need to upgrade or get more of alright so let's check here yes there was copper in there great alright so let's get out of here alright turn turn turn cause I'm every time I hit something I feel like it's backwards a million miles wow do you hear that shooting out there sounds intense oh so I keep one of the treat space like a hover bar and I have to remember that that is definitely not a hover bar alright so we'll go over here now

we should have enough to make that refinery it's requesting so let's get a oh let's back up I get up here alright and then let's turn the machine on now here's my question did I run out of power no okay turn it on and oh it's waiting for oh that is my fault my apologies it's waiting for more iron or yeah so let's go over here that's me just being a bad gamer so we'll go over here and finish uh a lot of these rocks and there we go don't wanna get stuck in that dip again so let's clear this and th

en refill it alright there we go bear with me here we'll figure it all out eventually uh so we need oh wait I crafted that what was it oh then pull it out uh so let's make a new platform and let's make two actually alright and then we'll go out here and we'll just slap these down and oops spin this guy around all right no so it turns them on automatically I got to stop doing that all right we can make okay so let's oh so you just slap the debris in and it makes it okay so you can do it's like bl

ocks of stuff I'm assuming that's kind of help you keep your inventory managed cause it's not a lot it's only 3 iron uh we have copper blocks yeah alright uh destroyed an enemy tech we need a launch pad what is a launch pad oh refined iron copper in carbon okay so now we're getting to the you know crafting copper iron and carbon so now we're getting to the you know the pickaxe part of the game where you got to start mining everything now this was not copper if I remember correctly this was alumi

num yes okay I think it takes a hot second to get used to these controls um but they kind of make they make sense as you play it's just becoming a thing of making sure your and also you got to realize that that crosshair there is for your weapon not for your mining laser your craft your mining lasers on the dot that's something that's really messing with me when I try to do this um so I was speaking about the controls my apology so yeah they definitely take a minute to get used to but once you d

o it's kind of makes sense uh very uh independent of each other it's almost like if you ever drove a um lawn mower with zero turn on it but you use the sticks instead of the wheel and I'm kind of curious I have dual sticks for space sims so I'm wondering if those can be used with this don't have to mess with that later alright so we're gonna need 30 okay I got enough of that 30 iron 30 copper and 30 carbon so let's get out of here and we found copper up on the hills here now there is another car

over here just kind of checking what he gave us a spotlight thinking more of these wheels I'll slap them on so let's take a look here oh he's a big boy now we'll I will admit the combat it feels like I'm shooting a pea shooter at him which I don't like I wish I was somewhere on for that alright so he blew up and then what's this is this just the rest of his so do I have to defeat him or defeat the cabin I have no room in my cargo oh boy yeah I hear you so let's see let's see if they're willing

to follow or if they're gonna stay behind seems like they stay in their area okay let's see if there is a storage chest cause I am filled up with a bunch of stuff all right uh let's see tech crafting now there's none here but that doesn't mean oh I won't have enough room to fit this thing oh there's okay so I got a small cargo storage for my car so I'll fit that let's get out of here whoops now it's mad at me all right we'll slap that there and then we'll pick that up all right so let's see here

now this gets into the car building part of the game oops so let's see oh yeah we can build it like that I guess this additional storage slot so can I is there a quick button to move storage slots doesn't look like it unfortunately but what I can do is use this to my advantage now and get these small things out of here and then fix this and then we can actually run back and grab the last of the parts from that car over there and did I get more wheels no I did not what's this though armored spal

der so a little bit more reactor load so it looks like we got a lot to learn about these cars so let's get over here try to grab any oh try to grab anything we can what's this that's something Howlite let's break and see what it is uh chlorine okay makes sense alright that I picked up a small battery okay great so we can actually use things like that right now that'll give us another battery uh charge which is great now I'm curious about this armored spalder can I like slap it on the front to pr

otect my let's see here oops and I wanna spin it now this seems like it's probably something that you slap on the sides um so like I could put it can I put it just thinking turn I bet if I pull the extra battery off could you put it like here you gotta protect your wheels and then we'll slap the extra battery right here in the middle oh now it's putting a lot of weight on my back end you can see my lift when I hit it hmm I even think about weight distribution or anything like that it's great tha

t they put something like that in it's really gonna make you have to work hard for everything you got so let's head back here and see if we can build a storage container I'm thinking it's getting dark here is that cause there's a storm moving in or is cause there's a day night cycle might be a day night cycle all right uh let's see here interact launch pad fragmentors let's see wind and solar definitely some more platforms and stuff like that ramps what are Silas for doesn't say it'd be nice if

they put a small description in here saying like oh you know this is this okay so we found a storage chest I need 3 refined iron so that's gonna be 9 iron um but I kind of need it oh my car fell over um alright so let's fix my car really quick alright so we need some refined iron so let's just slap some iron in there for now now can you break down iron out of here let's do four okay okay so at least it doesn't take up much space but if I need to if I need to break this down can I do that doesn't

look like it oh you know what isn't there a there was something in here that made it sound like there is a fret yep there it is I bet you you can break them apart in the fragmentor so we'll see how that plays out let's get a starch chest though um so what's that require again I'll just autofill it there we go alright perfect and then let's get you up and running now what I should do is actually build like an extra ramp right here an extra platform my apologies and then we should move this here

talk to this guy and actually get another ramp alright so let's get another ramp up and we'll actually put that here so we can kind of just drive through oh alright my car is backwards I'm backwards alright so there we go that makes more sense I could just drive through when I'm doing stuff alright that's a supply fabricator where's my chest to the nearest connected tech yard okay here's my tech yard so now how do I hmm that's fine and dandy but how do I thought that was a storage chest tech yar

d storage block stored is 0 100 it's like I'm missing something here please please please missing something big is there not just a normal storage chest block fabricator I don't know what that is well I don't know I thought I knew but I really don't uh and there's like no way to hit that and when I go in here it's just all my it's all my stuff weapons and equipment the Wikipedia hmm alright well I guess we'll just have to move on so looks like it is night time so that definitely is a day night c

ycle around here so I do need more iron I do need carbon and what was the other one I need copper so let's go over here actually see if there's any copper close by there's something don't know if that shadows are not up there we'll go take a peek now my main concern is I got too much weight in the back with this oh here we go here's some copper but my main concern is I got too much on the back come on and that's giving me a hard time moving around gotta get my batteries restored here I think I'm

stuck yeah whenever I said I'd have too much weight in the back I had too much junk in my trunk now let's blow this open yeah the game is definitely fights you at points I feel like I might just need a little more refining cause the camera fights you with the plants and stuff like that that's not fun and I wish I had a stronger laser cause trying to get this copper going is slow come on out of power again wish I had more wheels spotlight 2 way connectors I guess could I no I don't have any bloc

ks so with these wouldn't be any useful yeah I need some blocks in the middle just to kind of weigh myself down you can see here I got small wheels but no just regular stuff let's just try to get the rest of this hopefully that's enough to move forward with the launch pad and we'll run into that plant hopefully get some carbon out of it yeah carbon seems like it's the hardest thing to find and I don't know if it's cause I'm missing something I hear something okay so it seems like I can mine this

tree with a mining laser seems like this isn't too big for me so let's go ahead and try that my car is like stuck alright so it seems like I can target these smaller trees to get carbon out of just checking how much I got of each so that looks good iron might be a little low on so that sounds like a burning tree that's actually good use of sound effects alright that guy's gone and we'll finish this up so I feel like the car mechanic is actually gonna be super fun but I feel like you have to get

through so much of the survival to start just to hopefully start building a car up but I will say I'm not really a main survival game player um this just peaked my interest cause of the car builder factor using the blocks and stuff like that to build up a car alright so here is some more iron that's a big chunk all right little hard to see you know what I could put that spotlight on but I didn't know where I'd put it probably in the center of the car because let's see how do you okay there we g

o just there we go that's better my my headlights were not cutting it look at that alright uh stuck again so yeah definitely too much weight on the back end with these wonder if I could spread it out really quick I imagine there's people out there just having panic attacks watching this because I'm not spreading my weight out or anything alright uh don't need the spotlight anymore can I yank that off so let's go here and let's talk about making blocks are you the block maker you are alright slap

that in really quick wait machines off wait is it on or off oh I ran out of carbon uh can I split stacks hmm what splits it's supposed to be shift something oh hey that's actually a clever system I'll give it to you for that that's really clever all right let's see talk to you oh now it's the grid off so let's figure out here restore power grid there we go and we need to make a launcher which they said was oh 10 of each block yeah so 30 so okay let's get that out of there alright so let's see n

eed to grab 30 and now does that do that one by one oh it does oh that's no boy though um I guess we're just got to wait it out look at these shifted wheels plus 5 armor on to this block okay and then these are so then we have reactor load over here you have a recharge rate restores I don't know where stores are he hasn't talked about that yet oh rewards alright so you get some kind of item here which is never talked about what else we got Techyard options alright oops here's the refinery done i

t is alright we'll grab those 10 then we need uh 30 of these I wish the crafty was a little quicker if you want me to pump 10 of these out I understand but don't make me do it for three seconds each maybe make it a second and a half or a second but I guess the benefit is that doesn't require much material all right what else is in here this is a fabricator fuels there's nothing in there that no I think it's done crafting all right and then last but not least we need copper I did 31 backs and tha

t's okay I wish there was a more clear storage options for us just looking around here power displays yeah there doesn't seem to be anything that's like hey this is how you store extra stuff out of your inventory all right that's all done so let's talk to this about making a launch pad say fill that up now I'm curious about what this is gonna do alright let's see what the game says collect and launch resources that's not very very well I apologize a lot of banging going on back there um not very

clear but I need two more platforms cause I need more room to build so let's see then we'll take you and go over there oh my God this thing is massive do I have to put it on platforms or can I just set it somewhere oh my gosh I need to like zoom out oh I do need to put this on platforms I think alright so I'm gonna assume four platforms for that thing uh so let's hop in here uh wrong ones and we'll actually build it over here so we need a little ramp our little pathway over there um let's see h

to get more yield because you lose yield as you sit there and break it down longer and longer alright hopefully this is enough to push me over for this rocket request and there we go I can kind of hear my suspension that's funny me a little feature um slap that in there slap that in there alright we're getting close I wish I could put this refined iron in there and just be done with it let's go take a peek over here and see what else is around oh I see a big thing of iron over there run this ov

in this game I would like to be able to hit shift and just kind of fire my way back it is interesting having cars be the main predator so you just see these little cars moving around like micro machines alright oops don't hit the space button it's not a jump button that perfect so we get to launch that now there it goes I don't know where it's going but someone got it alright so we need a block fabricator let's check that out um block fabricator okay and it requires iron and refined copper so I

think we have enough for copper and how much iron did it need 10 I like got eight on me alright so let's just go get a little quick bit of iron so this game is very heavy on the iron the start like everything requires it in big old batches I could have sworn there was one right around here but I'm probably just not seeing it it's okay let's go explore a little bit is there a map in this game oh there is that's neat oh oh he's only got a mining later laser alright so I think I'm getting a bad ang

le on him cause he's on the Hillside right there so we'll take out his cabin all right what did he have on him anything good another laser which if I'm not fighting I might as well just have another laser on me turrets and then looks like it's just wheels and stuff almost have enough for changing my wheels out there looks like there's one up there too just staring at me menacingly I don't know what he's doing I'm staying away from him I just need like 2 iron bud don't mind me no you can leave me

alone too I've done nothing to you alright we're gonna run just hoping my car doesn't flip backwards yeah I think they have really short leashes when it comes to where they're allowed to go and not go so that really helps us as we try to run away uh okay so our power trips I probably miss that the first time it happened that's okay um let's just blow up this thing see so that's two that's 3 we can use that carbon to fill up the power supply but I really just need some iron and I'm really gettin

g agitated cause seems like the supply is so dang low it could just be this area too I wish it was closer as I guess I should say or more abundant near me that'd be better um let's see let's see let's see I guess we'll go check down here oh boy I really not trying to pick fights I just want to get 2 iron and head back I don't wanna bother anybody just trying to figure out what's going on look at this that is scary oh what happened there oh oh come on what is that bowl hahaha oh I guess I got way

t for my car can't stay up right come on I'll just try to dual laser these into oblivion except that destroys your power stop and it's like everything stuck behind these rocks get out of here alright hopefully it's 10 it is oh wait it's gonna be I'm gonna be out of other materials alright I do gotta make a run back and try to grab these things so jeez problem is it like it locks onto you so I don't even know how to get everything out of there okay take all this take all hmm let's double check wh

at do we got here this will help soften the blow so I don't know which one okay here we hang on we're doing this now if it hits me from there that's bowl that's what I thought alright so let's go back and create a block fabricator now a little blue area on my map above my head there is where my base is so that's how I know where to head to every time well hang on top heavy uh I block fabricator I need copper refined coppers I need 5 of them so 15 there we go I gotta put some power back in here I

wonder if it's um beneficial to turn this off when you're not using it so let's see we'll let those refine and then as soon as that's done I turn that off and we'll steal these out of here alright and we're gonna say we want this can I restore the power grid no I can't so what I gotta do is actually go back and turn that on and then say make this hmm I have enough to make it don't I oh restore the power grid now I'm interested to see if this is what makes oh jeez all the extra stuff wait I trip

ped am I pulling too much power alright so this is how I make extra parts okay listen to the song I think we are legit pulling too much power no I don't know oh we are interesting so off um turn you off okay restore the power grid go here and craft a small cargo block and what's that require aluminum and copper don't think I have enough aluminum no I don't all right I'm gonna wrap it up here for now um you know I'll see what else there is to do recorded and put it up if there's substantial but k

ind of gives you the idea what the game is so far it looks like you know you're gonna be building bases with your car actually then taking pieces of the uh pieces of extra cars or car pieces that you've made and slapping it on the car and you know building machines for yourself um really interesting game I definitely wanna see if I'm gonna sink my teeth into a more uh fun so far um controls are a little bit odd but you know what it's a demo um these developers are nice enough to let us try these
