ce president with the Maryland stadium Authority and Terry uh when I called you the other day to book you in here I really had to do it was like a Time Warp or something uh I said were you you apologize uh for not calling me back the day before you said I was at my daughter's graduation and I saw that's nice when she graduated from sixth grade or something like that and you told me that your daughter is graduating high school and going to college and that's how long we've known each other becaus
e that's that's got to be your daughter must be 17 now then yeah right so my oldest daughter is 18 going off the Towson next year and we're really excited for her I'm very proud of her you know getting through high school and sometimes we didn't think we were going to get there and then my youngest daughter is well I always know how long I've been here my youngest daughter moved with us when she was three months old so she just turned 15. so I know I've been here 15 years now that's why that's w
hy we we were about two years old Press Box and we did a story on you but we didn't even have a picture of you for the cover so we put the ticket ticket it was called ticket to the game game and we introduced you to the folks here in Baltimore and we've had a really good relationship over the years from from my perspective and I cherish it too Gary hasn't had that great a relationship with you but he's trying he's trying to catch up he's working hard he's working what am I going to do with him T
erry seriously hey Terry all kidding aside when you moved here you you left a pretty good job in in Kentucky uh and you took a chance on the state of Maryland governor O'Malley hired you and you've never worn a d or an r on your shirt you've worn a m for Maryland yes uh did you think this could work this well because it has really been a great relationship well I I did think in it could work this well and then part of the reason I took the chance with my family you know to move to Maryland one y
ou know grew up in New England and my wife being from Long Island we knew the Mid-Atlantic region really well we knew what the environment was like and I knew that if I came here and put the work out that I know I have it within me and I connected with the right people like yourself and Gary and others across the community people would open doors and allow me to Foster relationships and and really build something special and I think we built something really special here in Maryland through Mary
land Sports and then the creation of the sport and entertainment Corporation of Maryland and the partnership with with State leadership as well as the Maryland stadium Authority the Maryland stadium Authority has been such a great resource and an advocate for what we do across the state I mean people sometimes focus in on you know Baltimore and the like but people have to remember we touch east to west north to south and across all counties across the state through our team Maryland partnership
and I'm excited we built something really special and then we're just getting started in all fairness we did with you guys a 10-year anniversary piece which was like kind of a reflection now the 10-year anniversary piece I mean we've accomplished everything in the 10th anniversary piece that was projecting to the Future so we're just getting started and and Gary and we're really excited and I'm proud of the work we've done I'm proud of the partners that we've created and this is just really real
ly a fun thing and I'm just glad to be the head of IT how important was it Terry and I know you had early talks I believe with Governor O'Malley but you understood you had to take the politics out of this position for the position to really be effective long term didn't you well you have to I mean Sports needs to be a political especially in the youth and amateur side of the sport I mean our job is to create revenue for the state through Sports whether that's Youth and amateur Collegiate or prof
essional all the way up the ranks and the one thing you can't get caught up in is some of the internal politics that are associated with our federal government as well and the state government and we've always tried to walk you know very straight line about the importance and the value of what sports brings to the market you know after the pandemic what came on the market first and for some sports 911 Sports you know the Great Recession of 0809 sports you know Sports has always been a clog to ge
t the economy back up and running and that can't have baggage that might be associated with some internal you know bickering between you know um the D's and the R's and the eyes and any other letters that are out there in the political Circle we need to stay focused on the job we understand the importance of the job and we understand the value of the job therefore we have to be receptive to both sides we have to be receptive to all walks of life and we have to be receptive that there are differe
nces in how we tackle those differences through Sports is what makes us different than other sports commissions across the country very well said care I know you got a couple well let me follow up on that actually because Westmore obviously now is the governor of Maryland and um he's gotten off to a really good start but how much uh contact have you had with him and uh like what is that relationship right right like right now and how does it compare differ similar Etc to the one that you had wit
h the um uh Governor Hogan well it's obviously a lot different you know you have a lot of different people surrounding you know the governor and you know eight years of getting to know one you know group of folks and understanding the nuances and the quirks that go along with how do we get from point A to point B to get a really solid decision made so that we can pursue the right activities and or get the right attendance in the right places our relationship to date with Governor Moore has been
very good and I have to throw my hat off to you know Craig Thompson who is our new chairman of the Maryland statement Doherty he's been a constant Cog of connecting relationships in and making sure that when we do things that we're connecting with the right people within the line of the administration to ensure that we're not out in front of the administration however we're providing resources and tools so that when the administration makes decisions when it comes based on the sports or venues o
r the like that we're providing that you know unfiltered evaluation and resource so that the administration could be strong and we had a great relationship with you know Governor Hogan and his team Tom Kelso was a huge champion of our office still is a huge Champion so I've been very blessed and there there goes the previous conversation whether it's D or R it doesn't matter as long as you continue to keep your nose to the stone and you make sure that you're doing good work people recognize that
and it shouldn't matter I'm I'm from New England I carry a capital I on me I'm an independent and I'm about the people that surround me and the people that surround the process and I can work with anybody and I think you've seen that over the last 15 years that it just we just want to do good things for the state of Maryland and as Dan said early on I carry an m on my chest because it's all about Maryland and what we can do through sport tourism Terry let me ask you you made an interesting comm
ent before about um you know doing sports in this whole Sports commission thing uh from from east to west from the ocean to the mountains north south Etc you know Maryland is often called the America in miniature and I'm just wondering it as part of your pitch is that an important thing the fact that you can go from this from the shore to the mountains in about four or five hours get everything in between hot cold up down Etc that seems to me to be not something that many states can brag about t
here are very few that can stake that claim and we yes we use it as part of arbonacular when we're talking about people like when we did the you know white water canoe salaam event up on top of wisp and at the ASCII and people are talking about wow how do where do we go from here I'm like Baltimore's three hours DC's you know three hours you can be over on the Eastern shore on the water technically in three hours because you'll be on the bay side or even cross the bridge and go all the way out t
o the ocean and then four and a half five hours and then you can be a metropolitan Baltimore and or out in the rural parts up in you know the mountains of you know Frederick and Hagerstown all the way out into the Metropolitan Baltimore down to DC and you can be in our state capital right along the shoreline in a matter of minutes so having the I-95 Corridor that cuts right through our state the Beltway to the South around the district and then the Beltway around Baltimore and then the 95 quarte
r up through you know Pennsylvania Delaware and then we are accessible to over two-thirds of the U.S population and we're also accessible to terrain that mirrors so much of the world um the United States I shouldn't say the world the United States from water to mountains to Metropolitan and then rural you know farmlands Harry I wanted to pick up on something that you and I haven't talked about in a long time and that's amateur sports in the state of Maryland uh for all intents and purposes we've
moved from the pandemic to the post pandemic uh and while sometimes you hear still some some coveted spurts here and there uh has the return to normalcy impacted how the state of Maryland is doing because I know that was sort of one of the UN unfocused on real successes that you've had in this state yeah I mean the youth and amateur sports Market is a driving force in the state's economy and when we're averaging over 350 events a year in the youth and amateur Marketplace generating in excess of
250 million dollars in direct spending on our economy if you throw that into some type of economic impact Gallery we're doing over a billion dollars worth of Youth and amateur business annually in the state of Maryland we're doing everything from lacrosse and soccer you know we have the Chinese volleyball nine-man volleyball coming this Labor Day weekend in the convention center you know we're touching the fabric of so many sports across the state and then you add in you know sports that are yo
u know non-traditional like cricket and you add an equestrian Sports you put all those things in the fabric of what we're doing in Maryland we are right now tracking ahead of what was the Peaks 2019 year which was the Pica um amateur sports in the United States and right now we're tracking probably about four and a half to five percent higher than 2019 and that has to do everything with not just the number of events has to do with the number of people it also has to do with the number of um athl
etes that are getting back on the field to play as you remember during the pandemic one of our biggest challenges was you know the return to play how are we going to get kids back on the field to play and we created a task force to make sure that we were one of the first ones on the field of play but we also created youth in amateur sports grant program that allowed some recovery and then allowed some of these organizations to get back on track in a very successful way and then Michael Aaron Bus
h Youth and amateur sports Grant has been nothing but a success to date and we look forward to that being a part of our fabric of give for many many years to come yeah you know it's really interesting because that is a national health issue potentially coming out of the pandemic with kids and adults not being out doing stuff and working out and doing physical stuff that's kind of interesting Stan and Garrett in 2018 Youth and amateur sports in the United States did 19.8 billion dollars in econom
ic activity in the United States the NFL did 16.3 wow that means there's a lot more there's a lot more uh amateur athletes than NFL professional athletes so you know the Weekend Warriors the moms and dads and the kids getting out there traveling around whether it's through S um through a minivan and SUV on a flight on a bus you know parents are giving kids the experience to take you know take to the field and in order to court whatever service they play on and that's part of you know the new tou
rism model is the staycation you go to a tournament for three days you stay for two other days and you make a family vacation out of it so we're we're maximizing the opportunity and you know we're excited about what the future has in store for us you know as an aside if the three of us three Sports Geniuses could put our head together and get TV contracts that are larger than the NFL we'd be able to make quite a bit of money wouldn't we I'll leave that on you stand you figure that one out you ge
t with the right people and I'm gonna work through the platform to start Stein and I'll work on it I wanted to touch base with you on uh something you know the the probably the biggest loss that you've suffered and I don't mean personally but you worked harder on the world trying to bring the World Cup uh games to to Maryland you know uh and that was a bitter loss for you at the time there was all this talk about well we still could hurt not you I'm a happy talk but the the uh soccer folks were
safifa were saying well they could still host uh you know a team here or there and I'm wondering is the games are still about three years away is there still a possibility that Maryland could benefit from the World Cup brushing elbows with the World Cup oh most definitely I mean one of the things that you know I was just on you know in a meeting earlier today with some folks about you know maybe becoming a base camp for a couple teams using some of the facilities that we presented in our world c
up bid bringing in the soccer Plex over in Montgomery County one of the best facilities in the country how do we maximize those resources to ensure that we're still a part of the World Cup experience but also touching on the fact that playing a part in an event we might not be hosting matches in our building but we also know that the United States and Mexico are exploring the Women's World Cup in 2027 and maybe you know somewhere down the road if it's not 27 we want to make sure that people unde
rstand that we're receptive to rolling up our sleeves and working hard and even in defeats trying to find that light at the end of the tunnel that still keeps us involved with some opportunity and associated with the leadership of the game so that when the door does open we're ready to walk through it and that's very important to us because you never know when someone's going to trip in or stumble and and we have to be ready to push that crack open so that we can walk in the door saying we're re
ady and we we've been there and we we have the resources and we have the tools and that's that's kind of the conversation we've been having to date so I always stay tuned um there's also some other Scuttle out there that because of the length of the tournament and some things that they projected in the tournament they might have to expand a little bit because there's additional two weeks there's an additional 24 matches that they didn't account for when they grew the portfolio but I know that ou
r partner cities out there across the United States Mexico and Canada that absolutely won the rights they're going to do a tremendous job they have the tools and the resources so I'm not here to negate that but we left the door open with vipa in the soccer community that says you call we will listen and if the door makes sense to walk through we will walk through all right staying with soccer for just one second you know I was reading in the BBJ the other day there's a semi-pro team out in Annap
olis that Drew some tremendous crafts for even exhibition games preseason games now they've got a regular season opener coming up they're hoping to break the all-time record for that we've heard from many years now Terry about perhaps the USL placing a team here in Baltimore a 10 000 seat soccer specific Stadium being built somewhere in Baltimore haven't heard lately um is there any movement on that at all what what can you tell us about that potentially yeah there is actually a study that the M
aryland statement 30 is currently undertaking with the MLS and DC United about you know their um uh growth League they're based on their B league and you know still exploring that and the possibility but we get a lot of phone calls on this topic you know on a regular basis and we are right you know for soccer and we think that in the coming years between our efforts in the world cup and then the efforts that you're seeing down in Annapolis with the new team there and the growth of the game holis
tically and then our partnership that we just signed with the English Premier League to bring a double header to FedEx Field you know this summer on on July 31st anchored by Chelsea you know is a way to keep the conversation alive and open and showcasing over and over and over again that you're missing one of the biggest diamonds in the in the sport by not placing something here in our market so we're constantly working the angle we're constantly looking at opportunities but it has to be the rig
ht opportunity it has to be the right Partnerships both public and private in order to ensure that it's successful and some of the models to date haven't been totally in all fairness that that cohesive 50 the model that you know Works in so many other places it's it's been a little bit lopsided and now we're just continuing to be mindful explore evaluate assess in the right opportunity will present itself Gary you'll get the next question but I've got to take a time out here and tell folks a lit
tle bit about the Costas Inn Acosta sin has been sponsoring these zooms going on four years now and I've known the tree and tophlo's family for close to 30 years it's hard to believe they've been in the same location for over 50 years at 4100 North Point Boulevard fantastic place for crabs if you're getting ready you've been ready to try your first crabs of the Season you got to make a little bit of a plan call them at 410-477-1975 to reserve your crabs they got all different sizes but the idea
that you're going to walk in one day and get crabs that's that's like rolling Dice Man so make a plan and it's 410 477 1975 the best crabs around great friendly family atmosphere that cost us in go ahead Gary you can pick it up good stuff Stan Terry Let's uh stay with soccer you you mentioned that event coming up at FedEx Field end of July the Premier League match uh Chelsea uh tell us a little bit more about that and what's in it for fans well we're looking at a devil header um down at FedEx fi
eld on the 30 um 31st of July um it's an NBC broadcast event um hence you know the venue um we're obviously up here in Baltimore we have the Yankees in town that that evening so created a conflict there but we we partnered up with the English Premier League because they are looking at a league driven initiative to bring more matches from the league so they're bringing over four to six clubs every year and every year we have committed to the next several years that the devil had would be played i
n Maryland and that commitment is to you know once again a commitment to our world cup effort and our Legacy saying that we're going to find great strategic Partners this great strategic opportunities to make sure that people can see the game whether it's m t bank whether it's at FedEx out at the soccer Plex you know or in the local park and rec environment we want to make sure that the game is being exposed and we have a chance we're going to be you know doing some stuff with our football for p
eace partnership that were created during the World Cup and also expanding our let's play initiative which is which is an after-school program that we're working with the Maryland State youth soccer association on to make sure that kids in underserved communities have access to the game so we haven't given up on our commitment and our Legacy of bidding on the World Cup because we see that the strategy of these Partnerships will open the door and like I said earlier once the door opens we will wa
lk through because we have shown over and over and over again that we're committed to the game but we're also committed to doing it right and doing it well and that's starting to show go at all levels and it goes to some of the other events that we're hosting across the state too Gary I I listen to you very carefully and you said that the commitment was that the games would be played in Maryland does that mean that there's a possibility they could be played in Baltimore in future years yes we wi
ll look at it and one of the things because this was relatively a new launch for the English Premier League that we had to look at some specific days because of the you know NBC relationship that was formed and then next year we'll have a little bit more Runway to look and explore and evaluate I could see something on a rotational basis I could see something where they you know they're in one building for two years in another building for two years Etc the English Premier League has made a commi
tment to Maryland and the Maryland Sports commission that if we continue on the path that we're on that they will commit to us long term and making sure that that double header has played in Maryland every year uh moving forward as long as their summer tournament you know exists I want to turn our attention to a couple events coming up up in Maryland over the next couple months but I do want to ask you something that just dawned on me that FedEx is in Maryland yeah that didn't dawn on me but it
just hit home that the commanders are about to be sold uh have you had a good relationship with the Redskins slash commanders for use of that stadium and you anticipate that changing have you had any early conversations with the new ownership group I have not had any conversations with the new ownership group however our partnership with the commanders there are certain Key Personnel that we have worked with on various events in the past our relationship with experienced Prince George's County h
as elevated to a new level and they have created a strategic relationship with the commanders so we're integrating with our team Maryland partner to ensure that we're walking through the you know they keep using walking through the door together to collaborate and build those relationships so when the new ownership does take over they realize that there's an investment in the region of an investment in the sports commission an investment with our you know friends that experience Prince George's
County but then also an investment from the state in the blue line Corridor which comes up and you know buffers up right against where the current facility is so there's a lot of key cogs there that are playing some important factors there to try to make sure that the commanders remain in Maryland long term they build their new building in Maryland long term and the fact that the investment from the state and the county is investing in and around it should to the new ownership that we're providi
ng the resource and the tool to create an environment that's welcoming and others would want to come to by doing the Blue Line quarter and the Entertainment District as well as the youth and amateur growth and build around that you know existing facility so I think the future is very bright and very excited about what this Administration is looking to do when it comes to solidifying that long term I promise we'll get to the local events coming up and I'm talking about the Maryland Cycling Classi
c and the five star but talking following up on cooperation I know that the ownership of the Orioles historically hasn't always been the most Cooperative there's a new day with the Baltimore Orioles with John Angelos running the team now are you optimistic that the relationship between ravens Orioles and the state will be much more collaborative moving forward Terry I I honestly you know do Stan and Gary I think there's a tremendous opportunity to really grow the profile which is the 85 acre Cam
ion yard Sports Complex you know the Ravens obviously just extended their lease you know committed to you know to Maryland I know the current Administration along with you know Craig our chairman or having conversations about the long-term investment into the Oriole Park in the team you know remaining here in in the state but then also the vision of what's growing around the ballparks you know you have obviously from the casino up to m t you know stadium with you know addition of TopGolf The Par
amount Theater some other things coming along to create an entertainment Corridor there I know the the Orioles are looking at you know they've looked at several models about how maybe we can you know create some environment that connects the Inner Harbor you know up through and also out to the West a little bit so I I think they're just such energy right now that there has to be collaboration because if there's not collaboration we're going to go back to the old days where you know we just butt
heads on everything and we just say no to everything and you know that's not good for sport tourism and that's not good for Sports in general so the nice part about it though is when you put two winning products on the field they have a tendency to then resonate and support one another you saw the Ravens were at the O's games they're throwing out first pitches there's collaborate and then the O's have been going down to M T Bank during the NFL season cheer them on and do all this so you're start
ing to see the players and I think that's also started to be seen at the ownership in the management level as well no I totally agree you're absolutely right Terry let's talk about some of the uh some of these events coming up Stan mentioned at the cycling event I think it's in August if I'm not mistaken correct me if I'm wrong but last year was the first year it was delayed by covid right for at least one year maybe two very well received last year two two years uh talk a little bit about this
year's event I know there are some changes to it but I think for the better but it is Labor Day weekend correct it is Labor Day weekend the main the main race the professional cycling event is on Sunday we've moved the time up you know to you know 12 or 12 30. you know God I should know this upcom head but it's between 12 and 12 30. kicking off at uh Kelly benefits you know riding the beautiful terrain of Baltimore County and then making their way into local circuits in the city the reason we bu
mped it up is you know in all fairness it was for racing safety um last year finishing as late as we did the sun crests right in a a line of sight and around some some of the turns when they got into the city there were some camera you know issues because the reflection and then also for the athletes now they're accustomed to that however if we can do anything to make the course safer that's on us so when we talk to the UCI we tweak the time just to you know that it also opens up five plus hours
of live television coverage we have a half hour you know pre-show followed by the full race followed by a half hour post show with MPT as our partner and then WBAL is coming in to be our community partner and then we have you know um tour tracker from the digital we have uh dcn from the international and Eurosport coming in you know we we anticipate being in 80 countries this year with with the race and we're really excited about that and we're anticipating well over a hundred thousand people c
onverging on Baltimore for the day of the race but the more important things are the things leading up to the race so on Friday afternoon we're doing bike Jam over in Patterson Park it's a community you know day families can come out kids can learn bikes they to get out on a little course that we'll have Design Within Patterson Park what dignitaries will have you know last year Ray Lewis showed up and you know really motivated the kids and you know this year we're we're getting into much that's
his thing now isn't it oh yeah he loves it he loved when he's out riding in his Maryland Cycling Classic Jersey across you know the globe and then that day is also that afternoon we'll be in schools in both Baltimore County and Baltimore City launching a new cycling curriculum that is at the fourth grade level so we'll be penetrating probably a dozen or so schools you know that afternoon followed by the bike Jam the next day is The Bridges of Hope ride which is starts at Kelly benefits and peopl
e can sign up and Ride part of the course that the pros will ride on Sunday beautiful train up in Baltimore County I mean matter of fact the UCI said it's probably some of the most beautiful roads that they've ridden you know in their entire circuit you know across the globe so that's a testament that we we're doing something right in Maryland when it comes to our roads some people might challenge that in certain places but when it comes to our roads and then that night is the team and introduct
ion over in Harbor East and Harbor East has been a tremendous partner from day one of the race and we'll do a team introduction over there open to the public everything about this event is free you can pull up a chair watch from wherever you want but we're really going to be activating you know Market Street and the whole Pratt Street environment this year it'll expand a little bit further and there will be some you know paid opportunities to maybe get in some higher you know VIP locations to ge
t a better sight line or to be involved in some of the food and beverage that's a little bit more tailored it's just like any other major sporting event you got sponsors to take care of you got other things like that but it's we compacted into three days you know part of that was guidance from the UCI and USA cycling talking about making the portfolio tighter for the athletes so that there's not a lot of lag time this is the same course as last year because when you do something right the UCI co
mes in and asks you to tweak and modify some things and we wanted to make sure that we tweaked and modified based on knowledge and not throw a new curveball into the system and so we think 2023 is going to be a huge smashing hit we conflict with nothing on the schedule there's no O's no Ravens in in town so it is the mark key sporting event in the state of Maryland you know get on the side of the road cheer on the cyclist go to bike Jam come down and you know meet the teams get autographs see it
all it's going to be a great weekend I just want to jump in and I'll give it back to Gary to ask another question you mentioned the Kelly benefits a couple times you talk about how important the Kelly family has been to this event getting its you know really rooted now and yeah I mean I can tell you right now when we did the youth in amateur amateur Road event out in Hagerstown and we were out there and the Kelly benefits team was out there riding and all their green and white you couldn't help
but notice their presence in the cycling community in the in the state of Maryland and then when USA cycling said to us you know what you know Terry if you guys would just go out on a limb I can assure you that if you go after a pro event you know without a doubt you guys will have a huge success with it as long as you you keep the Kelly you know group intact so my first call when I heard that was to John Kelly because I know John Kelly is the cyclist within the Kelly family and he's he raised
his hand along with a couple of his friends and said I will chair I will be your partner and they have been nothing but tremendous to work with but he's been a huge advocate he's been a tremendous resource he's opened doors to sponsorships he's been a good friend to the the event and he gets it he under understands the technical aspect so you know sometimes you have you know someone that just is really has a figurehead but no he's a not only is he a figurehead for the race he's also a friend of
the event and the friend of the sport so he gets it so our partnership with metal Sports and Kom and the others that we bring to the table he understands the vernacular so when we're talking about some of the aspects he's right there I've not seen anybody who has his thumb on the pulse like John Kelly I know his dad just a little bit but the wonderful family very supportive of one another and all the things that they've taken on and invested in over the years so we are very proud and very please
d that Kelly benefits not only where the start of the race would it's also where The Bridges of Hope will kick off on on Saturday morning but just a great group of people and we're very proud to call them my partner yeah just as an aside my brother-in-law rides for the Kelly riding team and says the same exact thing that you say about John I mean you're absolutely right yeah um another big event coming up the a five-star event up at Fair Hill uh talk to us a little bit about that well the Maryla
nd five stars were turning for his third year yeah they're continued to grow and and build on that event year in and year out Jeff Newman who's the president CEO of the events uh does a tremendous job along with Marissa melzer and you know team of dedicated contractors to really build a small City up on the natural resource grounds um at the fair Hill special event Zone that place is this spectacular and comes alive for three to four days of just pure equestrian activity it's one of only seven i
n the world only two in America the other one is Kentucky which was just contested a couple weeks before um the Preakness here in Maryland and then you know the international athletes are just just boasting about the cross-country course and the footing and the the Rings for dressage and show jumping and then all the things that we've added on from amenities from shopping to food and beverage and the like and that's another event where the state and our County partner in Cesar County have been n
othing but awesome in supporting that event that technically I mean because it's a question that is truly the Preakness of the Fall it is an event that you know we're hoping to grow attendance and we think that needs to be on every marylanders bucket list is some time or another to get on the grounds at Bear Hill take in the five star and just experience the the culture experience the cuisine that is Maryland the beverages of Maryland as well as just the aesthetic beauty that is Fair Hill before
we before we let you go Terry and I don't want you to step on the toes of Craig Thompson or Governor or Moore or John Angelos but if you could give us us and our viewership here a little glimpse into what John and the governor might be talking about in other words are they trying to redefine that whole section that is the ballpark you mentioned it was 85 acres to make it they call it play 365. but could you give us a little glimpse into what they're trying to accomplish there I think you know f
airness and not to step on Craig or you know the government is they're trying to take a holistic approach to the entire business operation of how do you make the facility 365 days a year an active place that people come and experience something that's really special you know whether that's live close by whether that's have shopping right inside whether there's food and beverage and entertainment aspects so kind of you're just seeing in a full encapsulation of you know other facilities across the
country that have moved entertainment and other retail spaces tied to Ballpark so that the ballpark is not this thing that sits on the edge of town or sits out in the outskirts and you feel like it's always an adventure when you go there well we're camping yards is located there's not an adventure it's right in the the heart of the connectivity of the downtown it's one of the most accessible ballparks and by foot in the country by far and they just want to make sure that's maximized yeah and th
ere's ways to maximize with the convention center right there the Inner Harbor what you're seeing in the Baltimore Peninsula and then what you're seeing to the south of m t there's a way and there's a strategy being discussed that's way above my pay grade and possibly my intellect level but there is a lot of great conversations going on and I I'm excited to see what I'm excited honestly pops out of the egg when it's all set said and done very well very well spoken Gary you you done no I'm good w
