This money will go towards serving individuals, older adults who are suffering
with through homelessness. Today we are bringing together our community
grant recipients and supporters of CECO for our annual awards ceremony will be distributing
more than $101,000 in community grant awards, as well as recognizing CECO champions that have
elevated our organization in the past year. 100% of the funds that we raised in the past year are going towards the grants
that we are distributing today. $81
,000 of those grants are community grants. So this particular funding is going
to allow us to provide some furniture and equipment for our teen center down
at the Border View YMCA in San Ysidro. 20,000 of that is supporting our employee crisis
fund. And again, all of that money, 100% of it that we raise is making this event possible. And
that's what's special about our organization. You know, we have eight individuals who
have volunteered so much of their time. Their heart and soul in helpi
ng us really
have that collective impact for our community. CECO!
