there is an unbelievable amount that goes into a golf tournament especially at the professional level the months even years of planning from tournament to tournament take a ton of work it was a busy day at The Landings ahead of the seventh annual Club Car Championship officially starting the events that the tournament has spent months planning for the biggest on day one was the annual kids Clinic more than 100 kids took part Monday evening I talked with several parents they said this is is the b
iggest Junior Clinic the club C Championship has ever had from kids who are just getting into junior golf down to kids who aren't any taller than the actual Golf Club it was an event for everyone to enjoy that excitement and enjoyment even stretches to the professionals who volunteer ahead of the big week this is my first Children's Clinic on the entire corn Fair tour they do a couple of them a few of them each year but this is probably the biggest one I think well there must have been almost 10
0 Kids uh six different station set up short game six on putting and they're having a blast I played the back nine today and walked off knowing I had a junior clinic in about 5 minutes and I saw about a hundred kids over here it's like wow that's pretty special you know and there's kids that are four years old there's kids that are 12 years old I mean it's so I mean it's definitely pretty special that they can get that many people out here just having so much fun like they don't care where it go
es right it's probably something for us to learn for this week too I I mean I wish I had experiences like this when I was you know seven or five whatever it was and especially helping out the kids I mean early in the week just kind of sets a tone for a good week there are always some local ties at the club C championship and this year it's with Georgia Southern Ben Carr and Steven Fisk have been on the schedule but a third Eagle qualified today Mason WIlliams will join his former Georgia Souther
