d right now is shoes so that's what we're doing Megan Anderson is co-owner of Mulberry Market where there's a new fundraiser each month and says the shoes will be used for all walks of life new shoes for school or they need something um extra that maybe they didn't have new shoes before and so this is something that they can grab off the shelves that's actually no cost to them a lot of times when kids come into car they are wearing the wrong shoe size or their shoes um are falling apart and so i
t's important to send them out um on their new Journey um with a good pair of shoes on their feet every new pair of shoes matters as the Foster network is looking to collect 2,000 pairs this year alone when we have to tell a kid no we don't have shoes for you it's heartbreaking um for the volunteers and staff that are working um so when we have businesses that partner with us um it's so critical and important the closet executive director Holly Christensen says the greatest need is tennis shoes
