as we like to always do going to start with Eric the blue Eric what's your overview of this fine looking slate yeah fine looking is a good way to put it like we're we're usually talking about games that we can just cross right off at the top of our slate overview and usually it's several games not the case tomorrow 12 games 24 teams playing by my accounting like 23 of them are legitimately viable right like you can probably toss out the Cincinnati side at Houston like that's the lowest total on
the board obviously Houston is putting up plenty of fantasy goodness even though they're not racking up the points but that defense will certainly put the clamps on Cincinnati I mean the only other ugly total is Wake but as we know with wake they they play like five guys and only five guys so I mean like even though the total isn't great there there's probably still some fantasy goodness Notre Dame you know not necessarily A team that we see on the Slate all that often not necessarily one that
we target a ton but they they've got some interesting value options there so yeah I mean I I think pretty much all but one team are on the board for us tomorrow and and look like we've we've got some we've got some built-in value with how the pricing came out only one guy above 9k we'll talk about that price King later on in the show so you can kind of do whatever you want and whenever that's the case I like to get nice and weird right so the uh the roster building latitude that you have is uh i
s definitely my style of slate it tends to lead to pretty massive scores too right like probably looking pretty close to 300 maybe even more to take down that that big tournament tomorrow so that's my initial look Mike am I uh I am I just dead wrong on any of this you you got a pretty similar point of view yeah I'm looking at our like our value pull yeah there's a there's a lot of options and usually we're like sifting through we're like trying to figure out like oh can we get the one guy that's
injured right um you know the Xavier Booker from Sunday that unfortunately I was at Walmart when that happened uh didn't get to see that in time but usually there's a guy that gets you know uh scratched or real late news that we can pivot to when there's not value but on this one we actually already have value that we're going to talk about so there one of those slates I know Jay likes these slates you can kind of just do whatever you want and then yeah I'm I'm with you Eric like I think gettin
g weird is definitely interesting um you know some of the some of the slates that have been like this recently I had Jaden EPS against St John's for 5% like getting these guys with massive ceilings that no one's gonna play um like those are the guys that are gonna vult you to the very top of this thing and also you can get into into a lot of these games for cheap like I don't even know that we're talking about Alys you and Georgia the total is actually pretty solid 151 there's no one over 7,100
in that game even though there's G to be like 500 guys to hit the floor in that game so there are so many ways to uh to go about this slate which makes it uh it's gonna make for a very very fun one nothing good happen to you know I mean that's after 10 pm especially smarty e do we know is that smarty e is he new I think we've seen smarty I mean clearly he's a plant rocking rocking those horns in his in his Avatar right well it's an inside job the fact that he's repping the stros too a little bit

with the highest total of the evening a 167 Point Oh that's oh that'll send those good shivers down your back looking at that one Iowa six-point favorites at home against those Penn State knney Lions both teams like to get up and down as evidenced by the first time the they played a 89 to 79 matchup which which Penn State actually won at home ball had 22 2 and six and uh for Iowa Cy had 22 and five Perkins 114 and eight so one of those things where but there's going to be some point score we've
seen it already once Mike Penn State only plays seven guys really and we know Ace is playing 40 smarty e sorry I was reading the comment been here before Mike's memor fading I'm sorry man I was in Vegas last week and and then I was and then I sent Jay a video this past weekend I was at the club you brought the Club Vibes back with you D I act I in my 21 phase right now so yeah I it's ingrained in this guy it's it's DNA can't you can't shake that you can't sh that but yeah sorry smarty you man a
ppreciate you Vegas F absolutely uh but yeah so this there's a lot to like in this game obviously the Penn State Side uh what you have to like Ace Baldwin right at 9200 I mean Iowa 13th in the Big 10 into defensive efficiency not good we talked about this all the time I would cannot stop bigs actually neither team can stop bigs um they're 13th in the Big 10 and two-point percentage they 13th in the Big 10 and opponent offensive rebounding percentage their 270th and opponent assist rate lots of f
antasy goodness to go around in this one and Jay mentioned it there were what's my math 90 plus 78 is what 168 is that right yeah Carry It Forward no math on this show anyway a lot of there were a lot of fantasy points scored in this first match up here ace baldwi at 9200 playing all 40 minutes putting up the 50 spot last game which uh led me to some nice coin on that slate for sure um and he's been so good and he's playing 40 minutes like what else do you want right his price has finally gotten
to you know we were getting 40 minutes and all the usage and shots and assists and steals at 8K for the longest time now it's like all right now he's 9200 but he's getting almost the the best spot that he's been in over the last couple of weeks against Iowa um so yeah it's uh it's pretty T like I absolutely think he's the first person you click in cash you can make a case in tournaments for fading him just because he is the price king um but because there's so much value he's actually pretty ea
sy to get to so Ace Baldwin absolutely at 9200 against Iowa is a nice spot now the DVP would suggest going down to cadus wab right I mean 6,300 pric man I was really hoping we get him right at six maybe just a little bit under six but he had 14 points seven rebounds three assists in the first matchup so uh you know Clos basically a 30 a 30 spot there for for Fantasy goodness for us uh and yeah we just we want to go to the well whenever we see Penn State and Iowa we want to go to the well with th
e bigs it just it feels uncomfortable because the bigs in this in this matchup aren't Premier now could wab actually has a really good rebounding combined rebounding rate a really good shot blocking rate it's just the usage and shot rate aren't great so while they featured him a little more in this matchup last time you just you have to figure like the guards are going to get um just a ton of run uh as far as the usage in this one so I I worry a little bit about waja but I think for tournaments
I think he's really interesting same with the The Bigs on the Iowa side we'll talk about here in a little bit so I have him on my tournament radar I don't know that I'll click the button it's that if I got get him at 5800 I definitely would take some shots in tournaments but what's he got to get for you to like if you get if you could guarantee like a floor what would be the floor you'd be most comfortable I mean a floor I'd be most comfortable with would be 24 okay um but that I mean that's not
going to win you you know the for ceiling yeah you want 30s and he just hasn't really been in the 30s so and a lot of that comes from the usage and the minutes they're just not really there so all the minutes are going to obviously Ace bald dos playing every minute Nick Kern sitting there at 6100 is a great pivot off of Ace Baldwin uh you know he's kind of been up and down right like he's either going to go off or he's not going to do anything at 6100 as evidenced by his last five games a 17 a
36 18 a 15 of a 34 but he's been one of the primary benefactors of Kanye Clary out the door so Nick Kar definitely in play for the large field tournaments 3K to First yeah we got to beat about a thousand teams so a lot of people are going to go to Ace Baldwin in tournaments as well so I think Nick Kar is definitely interesting let us know in the comments um what do you think about wahab and Kern DeMarco done kind of in that same path but you know just I I just don't can't pay the 5,000 because h
e's just not out there a ton um Jamal Brown's actually kind of splitting minutes with him right now I mean if you want a cheap way to get into those games You' be a lot of points scored so you know Dunn is someone that has flashed and actually uh I believe in the last matchup against these guys played pretty well if I'm if I'm not mistaken I believe I texted Eric during this matchup saying I was pissed off cuz DeMarco dun was like 3K in this spot and then uh it was announced that Clary was back
I took him out of all my lineups and he ended up having a really nice game look at Eric he know he remembers that text message yesterday he started off so hot too yeah he did and then he got into foul trouble I remember it like yesterday too so you never forget the ones that burn you but for me a priority Ace Baldwin interesting for tournaments wob and Kern DeMarco done slight interest just because of the price Eric anywhere else you're going I know I skipped over Zack Hicks but I feel like he's
kind of priced where he should be I don't it doesn't get me as excited in tournaments man what are your what are your thoughts on Old zachie Hicks and the rest of the squad yeah look Zack Hicks at 6.4k like it's not really a pricing play and you you talked about it earlier you know both of these teams kind of get beat up on the interior but Iowa is doing it despite the fact that they tend to double the post so um you know for for me the thing that sticks out with with Zack Hicks is like he's he
's just kind of stretch four right like he gets out there he's taking 162 attempts from behind the arc right so like definitely not shy about putting it up from range he's right at the 35% Hinrich line on those deep shots so look like from a matchup standpoint I I think that's where you really start to build the case for Hicks in particular the the price is fine but he's he's one of these guys that's here like 33 plus minutes every single night and just with how how the pensate side is priced fo
r this slate like I don't I don't see a whole lot of people getting there like obviously the the conversation starts with Ace Baldwin he is the he's the straw that serves the drink for this team but also people are going to be going down saving a couple hundred bucks with a wahab with a karna so hick is gonna be sitting there kind of overlooked you know he's he's generally a bit more of a cash play but you know he's he's flashed 30 32 you know kind of mid-30s upside here in in recent in recent g
ames and if he's if he's not going to have any ownership I think I think you might be able to look at him as like a one-off tournament play or maybe maybe stacking him up with with Ace Baldwin and and his 30% assist rate wob though I'm I'm kind of stuck on him because I think if you if you feel like like Michael was saying you need to get 30 plus out of him to feel good about that to win money with a comma in it right so I just don't know if I just don't know if I if he's a tough one for me beca
use I feel like he could get there but it's like you said wish he was like4 or500 cheaper that would be the icing on the cake for me but I don't I don't know if I can do it mama rocks you know mama rocks has been around for a while and we appre we always appreciate all the uh all Mama Rock does on the live chat keeping the keeping the vibe going turns out the referral to bring smarty in which we definitely appreciate that's the best sort of thing you can do for us is tell the hoop heads in your

n we can depend on six of them to play all the minutes yeah I mean just like I said this game's gonna hit 160 170 points so the reason why is both these defenses are terrible I was 10th in the Big 10 in defensive efficiency their last in the Big 10 and opponent offensive rebound bring percentage and also last in the Big 10 and opponent twoo percentage so excuse me Penn State is so uh what do we always say you play the center or or the Forman uh just basically you play bigs against Penn State tha
t is just been a rule of thumb all year this year it has paid off for us multiple times this takes me to h a weird spot kind of like the Penn State side with Iowa it takes me to a weird spot it took me to wahab here we go Owen Freeman he's 7900 and my God like this guy has absolute gpp winning upside like he can put up 50 to 55 fantasy points there are a few problems with this though one he's not always guaranteed solid minutes two there's a lot of guys around him that need the ball um Perkins y
ou know Sanford even cricky right next to him on the front Court um and and three really it's it's the volatility right like if you play him in a tournament you can expect to either go to bed real early um or you know you can expect to eventually be in the top 10 like that's just how it goes with Owen fre this is a great DVP spot for him uh yes I agree with Mama Rox he's gonna be a beast next year absolute Beast next year I I I wanted I want to say he's going to go for 35 Plus in this spot just
because I've seen Penn State get destroyed by big men all year long but problem is we saw Ben cricky uh have a have a decent game against him he's 6,300 the direct pivot he's $1,600 cheaper you know he had that 42 spot a couple of games ago but really outside of taking some shots and rebounding like he really doesn't do anything else which is kind of concerning for upside I've been kind of waiting for him to fall under 6K to really go after him in tournaments I feel like at 6300 he's kind of lik
e a Zack k I know I know cam saying Zack Hicks you know fourx and six to the last seven I know but I need I need 5x uh in tournaments I need five and a half X in tournaments so cricky in that same spot they're both priced I believe yeah they're both 6,400 and they both have upside in this spot but it's just kind of scary um especially with wahab and Freeman there to gobble up all the rebounds Tony Perkins maybe burying the lead he's 7600 he's popping off in our projections here I mean High usage
a good rebounding rate 23% assist rate uh 3% steal rate like this guy just does it all for this team he's playing a pile of minutes this year uh you know Jay mentioned it earlier uh you know that he uh he obviously uh played pretty well against them uh on the on the road he had 11 points four rebounds and eight assists so almost a double double uh you got to feel like at home he'll knock down a few more shots um and potentially challenge for that double double so yeah Tony Perkins for tournamen
t at 7600 is uh probably the most intriguing play on this side outside of omen Freeman and then there's Josh dicks he's sitting there at 5600 he's just playing a pile of minutes but I can't get over the usage rate the shot rate um it's kind of meh like he's kind of a what do you say Eric and Jay the all cardio team where he's just out there running around but last time he took 15 shots the problem is if you told me he was gonna take 10 plus shots I would have a little more interest to that 5600
but I don't know if he's going to take four or seven or if he's even going to play 30 minutes like it's just kind of all over the place he's another guy that feels $500 too expensive so I'll probably pass on Josh dicks but really I'm concentrating my efforts on Freeman really looking at Perkins I want to play cricky but the price is a little annoying so uh you know there's a there's a guy up there at the Top Eric that uh I don't know maybe I'm a little afraid because of what happened last time t
hese two teams played I was very very upset when I had him in there what are you gonna to do with pton Sanford yeah worry not as uh as smarty reminds us Sanford has been absolutely fire since Penn State shut him down a few weeks back for the record that was a 12 spot that Sanford had put up in that last game against against Penn State and and look like I'm I'm kind of I'm kind of going with the same logic that we had with with Hicks on the on the Penn State side right like a versatile big man wh
o can you know get out on the perimeter he's taking almost 200 three-point attempts he's shooting 37% from those from those long range bombs and you know you're you're making again kind of that same argument with Hicks but Sanford is a better rebounder 24% rebound rate and he distributes really well for a for a big man 14% assist rate right so like I I think I think Sanford is a guy that is is probably going to pop on the model you know people know that you can play bigs against Penn State but c
oming off of his worst performance of the Season arguably against this very team I'm I'm not sure sure how much ownership he's going to draw right so like he has been playing a a white hot branded basketball he's got four 5x upside seemingly on on every single night on every single slate and I I kind of feel like when we talked earlier about like ways to get weird paying 8K for a guy that got shut down by this team a few weeks ago that kind of checks the box as like a a way to to make your lineu
p a little bit more contrarian we we've got to get into this game on this side uh somehow I am closer to wanting more of Freeman I think than the other two but I totally understand finding a way to fit an 8K Payton Sanford into a lot of your lineups like I get it I get it but I don't know so gotta get into this game somehow guys this total is too big there's going to be so many points scored let us know what you're going to be doing in the life chat after you hit those like And subscribe buttons

n the in the ACCC meaning they give up 39% from three right 54% from two here's my layup my finger roll uh and then they're also last an opponent offensive rebounding percent so I know they're at home so you know maybe maybe a little bit of a boost in defense but when you're rocking Chris Bell uh Justin Taylor uh you know Malik Brown can obviously rack up the stocks but he's not like he's not a traditional like fiveman or anything like that so they're not rocking very good defensive players out
there so we should be able to get our hands on a bunch of rebounds a bunch of Threes a bunch of two pointers so yeah I have a lot of interest in this Virginia Tech side Shan padulla at 7200 yeah 48 spot coming off the 48 spot probably going to be ultra popular in this spot as he has been a lot of this year I mean he's it's crazy that his price is just like never never really gone up it's I feel like this guy is always in the low sevens mid sixes all year and so we're just gonna pop off um on the
on the 7200 sha padulla with a massive shot rate massive usage rate 30% assist rate 34% from three uh yes everything lines up here for him to absolutely destroy this Syracuse Orange defense uh Hunter Gucci Couture sitting there as a a pivot or even a stacking partner at 5800 I'm going to miss him when he's gone because I always say that whenever I say his name uh you know not the greatest usage rate but a guy that can fill it up from three uh man before the last like week this guy was about as
consistent as it gets playing high 30s minutes basically scoring 4X at this price or better every single time out on the back of playing a ton of minutes on the back of shooting a bunch of Threes uh and lately yes a couple of blowouts right I'm not going to count the Virginia game where they lost by 30 points then they went to pit lost by 15 points he fouled out in that game so some foul issues there he's going to play 35 minutes again at this spot forklift Jeremy jumping in here saying padulla
and kadour are jumping in his projections they absolutely should be because guess what we just said it Syracuse is dead last in the ACC in three-point percentage these guys are snipers especially Couture 158 attends from three 43% from three-point range one of the best three-point Shooters in the country and now we're getting him at 5800 I know I know shot dependency you're saying Mike but Mike you never like playing shot dependent guys well I do like playing shot dependent guys when they're pla
ying a defense that cannot stop anybody from the outside um or the inside so uh give me some sha Padilla uh you know working this team give me some Hunter Couture working this team Lin kid like if the minutes were there I I feel like he's still he still got some tournament upside here but man like the minutes have just absolutely evaporated I mean a guy that was I know the last couple of games right we talked about the the two blowout spots um you know UNC game you he played 16 minutes but that
was a 15-point loss at UNCC uh he also had four foul sues in foul trouble in that game FSU was the last game uh four games ago where he played 28 minutes he had 12 points and 15 rebounds he's going to have a rebounding Advantage I feel like he should play mid 20s type minutes uh we were playing him at in the 6K range basically for a lot of the early part of the year has kind of come back down to earth dust flash 25 to 30 32 Fantasy Point upside so very interested in Lin Cade there I mean when yo
u look at the rates like the guy just needs to be on the floor 25% shot rate a 34% combined rebounding rate a 12% assist rate for a big man 2% block rate like you'd like to see that up a little bit higher but it feels like if he can get into the mid if he could guarantee Le Jay likes to say 28 minutes here I feel like I would stack Lyn kid with one of these two guards so uh somewhat interesting four tournaments to stack him with one of the two guards MJ Collins is sitting there at 5400 uh a guy
that is doing a little bit more you know last year MJ Collins was just kind of like like literally an allar CIO player but he didn't only played half the game so like half a cardio player um and then this last like couple of weeks like he's done a little bit more than he ever has so MJ Collins at these price points like you're gonna want to get some Virginia Tech Guys into this I mean MJ Collins played 36 37 39 minutes he's taking basically double digit shots in every single game uh he's got a d
ecent assist rate like 177% like he can't shoot so that's kind of a problem um but the shot rate is trending up towards 20% uh 21% in conference too so you'll kind of like what he asked offer a 5,400 there are some great options here gentlemen so Eric anybody else you're willing to touch I think uh what is it mama rocks is saying the uh the old nickel bounceback day man what do you what do you think about old Tyler nickel Tyler niichel looking at his last four games in reverse order 24 26 27 and
five that little guy don't worry about that little guy at least that's that's the way I'm looking at it right like I'm willing to look past it in that in that five-pointer that he put up still played 31 minutes he was 0 for six from from the field right so like still putting up the the type of shot rate that you're looking for look I I love going back to the well on a guy that you know his role was largely the same that it's been for the majority of the Season he just kind of had a cold night a
nd that draws you know attention away from him so for me like nickel he's he's definitely a a stacking partner with um with padulla is probably the way I would go because padulla has that juicy 30% assist rate you know I I don't know if you want to go to nickoll as a standalone option just because he is you know so shot dependent he he really as evidenced by his 0 for six just tanking his fantasy output he's he's got to fill it up if you want to get there but kind of like you mentioned with uh w
ith Couture right like facing against a Syracuse team that is last in the AC CC in opponent three-point percentage it's last an opponent twoo percentage right like this is kind of the game where shot dependent guys feel a little bit safer so for for me like looking at the the VOD side it's clearly padulla and Couture and then just kind of everybody else but of that everybody else like I think you could make a real strong case for nickel I saw nickel and back in that same sentence right there and

iving up a lot of steals they're 11th in the ACC and opponent steel rate guess who's number one gentlemen that would be old Syracuse number one in conference play with the steel rate so a boost to the guys that can swipe the ball uh there's a pretty good guy that uh can not only swipe the ball but he can put the ball in the basket and he can get his teammates involved and his really just one of the best players in the league and that's Jud de menz and now he's sitting at 7900 which uh has my int
erest very very peaked especially on this site where you can pretty much get to anybody and multiple guys around this price point so Judah Mintz at 7,900 yeah coming off the 35 I mean it feels like his four in this spot is probably 30 so you feel pretty good about that at 7,900 um I would really play him in cash games one of the first players I would click um to be honest with you there and then for tournaments we know he has 4 to 45 Fantasy Point upside so judment a great play against this uh a
gainst this Virginia Tech defense oh boy Eric's guy here Malik Brown when you scroll down $200 cheaper here at 7,700 I I don't I you cannot play him at this price point like I I know the steel rate could be there for him he has a 4% steel rate I know that he could get some stocks in this spot 4% block rate a lot of his like ridiculous crazy games and we've we've always talked about this have come off the back of like 10 stocks I'm not doing this with a 14% usage rate a 133% shot rate um it's jus
t not for me I mean if he was 6,500 I would play him all day in tournaments because of that upside now that he's 7700 I mean that's where all his production comes from so when he doesn't have a huge stock game like he's gonna come into the 20s so Malik Brown the yes is gon to be out there maybe a contrarian tournament type play I am just going to full fade him for sure uh kavir copelan 6600 for tournaments is kind of interesting so 25% usage rate a 24% rebounding rate a 22% assist rate a 4% stea
l rate and also has a soft spot in my heart because he helped me win like $200 a couple weeks ago um or about a week ago on that 41 spot that he put up but yes Kadir copelan like a guy that can just do so much for this team and and projects very well here couple them bounce back run back on the on the kid Couture stack smart I definitely uh I definitely don't mind that at all okay the problem with p copelan is like he has to do so much in the minutes that he's allotted like yes every now and the
n he will jump into the 30 minutes but usually he you know Justin Taylor's out there for 20 minutes and then you know he's kind of picking off some of the the mint's bench time and picking off some of the uh you know some of these other guys that they're getting a couple of minutes rest here there so he'll creep into the mid 20s for the most part but at 6600 like you need everything to go right for him and you need this game to probably go over and I feel like he's kind of a stacking partner too
um because you know you're only getting 25 minutes in this game if this game goes over you know someone else in this Syracuse side that only plays six guys is going off too so I don't mind the Copeland mint stack um JJ Starling sitting there at 6200 I just I will never play him at this price point uh just two shot dependent and when you're shot dependent and you don't really shoot well like that's a that's kind of a weird mix right like 32% from three I that doesn't that doesn't really intrigue
