I could not stop thinking how courageous an act it is to stand in front of sometimes drunk dudes (males, females and confused ones) and speak your mind through jokes (that in reality reflect a sordid state of affairs in our society) and be exposed to violence on the part of possibly crazed "customers". I wish you to be always safe Adam.
I had a buddy who got too drunk at a club and started in on the comic. The worst part is that there were 10 of us in our group, we had the tables center stage right in front, and none of us in our group wanted anything to do with the shit my homie was talking. We figured a bouncer would come and throw him out on his ass and we would get to stay because he's the one being an ass, right? Instead of that, the comic was seasoned enough to engage with my boy an calm him down for 30 seconds and then burned him to the ground with the funniest shit I've ever heard in my life. 8 of my buddy's best friends and his girlfriend were laughing their asses off at him in front of another hundred people who were doing the same. It was glorious.

I was at a Jeff Dunham show in Las Vegas recently and he brought Walter out as Joe Biden. The crowd roared with laughter as soon as they saw him because they knew it was going to be hysterically funny…and it was! 🤣
Adam Ray is friggin' hilarious and that was awesome crowd control by him too. He is obviously a very smart guy to succinctly have multiple conversations going on at the same time with the audience members, while still doing his routine and all of it is so especially funny because he ties it all in so well. Keep up the great work Adam.
This is a great display of how EFFED up our country is, you're at a comedy show and people feel that once politics are brought up they can just start talking and interrupting the act. Hecklers are stupid.
It’s so easy to heckle a comedian from the back. It’s not so easy when they come after you. It’s terrifying. You don’t have to laugh at his jokes or like him, but you are expected to respect the craft, or fumet up on stage and show him up. Good luck.
