ou so much for joining us here today on live in the bay I'm really excited to talk about you and your career so we have to ask how did you first get started in common um Vine for that it's been like 10 years ago now yeah even maybe more actually I don't know the vine was a long time ago it was only 10. okay don't date me more I uh yeah Vine then they just made videos for years and then got on stage and here we are live at the bay so you actually yeah here we go live in the Bay right here it led
you to this this space right here so did you ever expect you know small videos that you used to make on a social media app to really blow up and kind of take you to your next part of your career no no I was I was just screwing around I was in college like avoiding real responsibilities and then I kept avoiding like getting a job and then it and then all of a sudden there's influencers and that's a job and then they told me I could sell tickets so I I think all right I'll try and doing stand up a
nd live shows and it's been a blast so none of it I expected but oh that's so incredible yeah it's a pretty nice accomplishment I would have to say so now that you are 10 years only 10 into your comedic career yeah what is what have been some of the highlights for you either on stage or off I again the high I was uh I would say the Highlight was probably like Taping that special which you showed a clip of like my first special it was the last show of the tour in Chicago it was a great show just
the feeling of like I can't believe I did this that was such a shy nervous kid and the first time I did stand up was like the scariest moment of my life but uh kept at it still keeping at it try to get better and better funny in front of yourself come out and see me yeah I got to come out and see you and what would you maybe say to kids out there or anybody who has aspirations to be a comedian but don't really know how to get into it oh don't do it I don't I don't think I always I don't know if
like comedians should be like admired or like studied it's like something's wrong with us so I don't know why it's like like night after I put myself through humiliations I don't know but you get laughs out of it right yeah I mean I mean for a lot of not laughs but then you figure out the laughs well speaking of all the laughs we did today have our question of the day and in our question of the day I don't want to put you on the spot but since you are a dad you are a comedian I have to ask do yo

ey you got to be listening to this yeah she knows but I'm excited well now that you are you know going on tour and you are a new dad maybe what are some of the challenges for you of having to hit the road um oh the first he's three and a half months old he's adorable baby baby little baby so the first couple months no challenges oh great to be away from them very it's a very and very loud and just busy but now he's now um adorable and that really every time he gets harder so I know parents tell
every time it's going to be harder harder so well you are just lighting up though talking about him yeah yeah I know they're all jokes but we had a rough first few weeks but we've really forgiven each other and that's great very close again that's amazing so close that now you are going to hit the stage here for the first time in San Francisco yeah tell me about your upcoming show got a show tonight come out you can't it's sold out so I don't even know why I'm here but I'm having fun uh it's gre
