well earlier in the program we heard from Common Ground volunteer Carol Swan about continuing education for producers and that interview will be on our Facebook page a little bit later this morning and now Carol is back with a recipe to share and Taran is standing by with more we have a recipe today it's called Cherry fluff yeah I call it Cherry fluff it's kind of an old tried and true one but it's so easy so I continually have it I'm sure people can find this in their chur Church cookbooks exac
t very popular it is on our Pure Nebraska Facebook page already but we're going to go through it here for you today what do we need well uh I have a big like the 20 oz can of pineapple and you drain the juice off and uh then we'll you can start stirring and I'll pour the sweet anded condensed milk in and it's you know you got to get the sweetened condensed all that Sugar you have to have the sugar make it taste good and it's just so easy this is just so easy and you can keep all the ingredients
in your cupboard and then cherry pie filling mhm so there's no cooking no stirring uh somebody if you're involved with things you a lot of times get people request for uh salad for different things pots or anything you can always have cuz course Cool Whip keeps forever in your refrigerator or in your freezer so you can have all these four ingredients so when somebody calls and says I need a salad you go I can handle it without having to go to the store cuz that's always my thing and then I put C
runchies in you don't have to do that or you can put nuts in but uh sunflower seeds so if people you know have uh nut allergies then they can have the crunchy sunflower seeds and then your kids the you know if you kids want to make something fun sometimes they say oh we want to make something fun but they don't want to have to deal with all the measuring and cooking parts so they can just open it up and dump it and there's a lot of ways it's like a salad or dessert if you wanted to get fancy you
can make graham cracker crust or shortbread crust for it so know it's pretty versatile old timey thing so we're looking at the recipe there for folks and again this is on pure Nebraska on the Facebook page or on my Facebook page so if people want to take their time and copy it down but it's so easy it's just dump and go yeah it's just dump and go okay then chill it even even if you don't have time to chill it it's still delicious it still would be good okay so here's what it looks like and this
has been chilled right yes that's been chilled yeah that was my last night one m i remember this a lot having it at church functions yeah yeah mhm and if I make it it's always gone I don't have to take oh you don't need to take anything home yeah and I like the sunflowers idea because so many times we would just put nuts into this but now you have to think about people with nut allergies right right yeah okay Carol this is a good one John you and Brad can try it in just a bit all right thanks C
