what is up everybody welcome back to the channel
my name is Anthony and we're going to talk about another confusing crazy unpredictable episode of
constellation so if you are new to this channel we just talk about TV shows that I like and this
time we're talking about constellation and I usually just give you my recap of the episode
then I give you my review and then we go into Theory sections where I talk about some theories
and some questions that I have and we can just talk about them in
the comments so let's just Dive
Right into this one because this this episode is even crazier than the last three this is episode
four of constellation the episode starts off with Magnus and Alice walking in the snow heading to
the cabin that we saw in the first episode of the series Magnus asked Alice if she remembers the
last time she was here and Alice says that it was the last summer with Mama Alice grabs a key from
the top of the door and says to Magnus that she is nervous Magnus assu
res Alice that Joe won't be
here and that they are not going to see her again now this this is a crazy and mindboggling way to
open up the episode because right off the bat we already have so many questions that I need to be
answered but again you know we're going to talk about those in theories but even after watching
this episode I don't even know if I can come to terms of what just happened in this scene we
then jump to Joe as she is still trying to get used to her life back on Earth as
she starts
to further feel like there's something wrong with everything and everyone around her we jump
back to Henry on the cruise ship as he hears over the PA system the captain announcing that there
was an incident last night and the ship will be docking at a nearby location soon the FBI led by
agent brigh board the cruise ship and start their investigation we then cut back to Joe as she
is attending a therapy session with Dr Gruber and Joe says that she is forgetting things and
having
hallucinations she forgets the color of her car and even said that she has a piano in her
house that she doesn't remember playing hearing this Dr grber prescribes Joe with some lithium
after her session Henry asks her if she wants to see the cow device once in Henry's lab the cow
device starts to go off and Joe starts to feel pain in her left eye she starts to have flashbacks
of her back on the ISS and sees a vision of her dead body floating in space with a bloody wrap
over the same eye she
just felt pain from back at home Joe finds out that the pills that she got
from the therapist are similar to the ones that were given to to her when she was going through
recovery when she first came back to Earth she goes back to her office building to confirm that
the pills are identical and after some testing Joe finds out that the pills are exactly the same
Joe then starts to do some research on her fellow crew mates to see if they were given the same
pills as she was she finds out tha
t she has been given different pills than her fellow crew
mates and that she is not the only astronaut that has been giving them and one of those astronauts
is none other than Henry Caldera after Joe nearly crashes the car Magnus calls Frederick to help
figure out what is wrong with Joe Magnus asks Frederick if he had an affair with Joe and he says
yes Joe arrives and says that she didn't remember that she had an affair with Frederick and Joe
and Magnus get into a fight and Magnus goes off
to take care of Alice after the fight Joe finds
a package from the Marine observatory in Denmark with two cassette tapes Joe listens to the tapes
and Hears A transmission that she thought no one could hear the other recording is of a dead female
Cosmonaut from 1967 does that sound familiar I bet it does Alice comes downstairs and sees a whole
bunch of people dressed in black as if they were attending what looks like a post funeral Memorial
she sees her friend Wendy and her father Paul as if
they were alive and a picture of her mother
Joe terrified by this Alice screams out and Joe and Magnus Comfort Alice and take her upstairs to
her room back downstairs Joe and Magnus get into a heated argument which leads into Joe pushing
Magnus causing him to hit his head on the piano Joe calls out to Magnus but he doesn't answer so
one of the big questions before we go into the theories that is did Joe just kill her husband but
overall guys I think that this episode was it was crazy there
's a lot of stuff that happened here a
lot of stuff that goes over my head at least and I think if you dive deep into it about this you
know Observatory Theory and like quantum physics and all that stuff it starts to get a little
complicated and especially now in this episode where they don't even like give you any preference
that we're changing different realities or going back in time they're just showing it to you and
they want you to just like you know figure it out figure out if this i
s a different time is this in
the future is this a different reality your four episodes in by now so you should probably know but
one thing that this episode does do really well is it just answers some of the questions that I had
from the first three episodes particularly the question that I had from the last episode about
there being three different type of universes or you know realities that they're dealing with and
pretty much saying that there's two realities at least for sure in we ha
ve one where Joe is
alive and the other where Joe is dead and it also confirms that there were at least two Joe's
because one Joe is dead and the other one kind of took her place now but overall this episode
wasn't my favorite I still enjoyed some aspects of of it but it just uh there's a lot of stuff
thrown at us and it does answer a few questions so it's not totally terrible it's not bad at all
it just wasn't my favorite but of course guys let me know what you think of this episode in the
comments down below were some of your questions answered from the last episodes in this episode
let me know what you think okay now we're going to get to the theor section and there's a lot of
stuff that I want to talk about so first thing I want to talk about is the lithium pills now I
previously said that I thought the lithium pills were like a cure quote unquote or something to
prevent Joe and other people like her from going to different realities I think this episode kind
of shows th
at that is a like what they're intended to do but it also looks like that the lium pills
are for specifically astronauts who died because Henry writes something on the Whiteboard that
says stress trauma lithium 7 death in space and that to me pretty much tells us that there
is indeed a Dead version of Joe somewhere in a different reality and this Joe somehow got
into the reality where the Joe that died in that reality was supposed to come back into this one
you would think by now I would yo
u know kind of get a grasp on this but what do you think about
the lithium pills what do you think that their significance is uh do you think that I'm right
in the thinking that these pills are only given to astronauts who died in a different reality
and came back into the Dead astronaut's reality and they're now dealing with it the other thing
I want to talk about sticking with Henry is when Henry and Joe are talking in the office he says
something about a story of a man who lost their chi
ld and he talks about how that he started
seeing things and he started feeling things and it sounds similar to what Henry and Joe are
going through in terms of like seeing different things after coming back from a space mission
and I think the person he's talking about is bud I think that's the person he's talking about
and he knows this because he talked to Bud and he kind of has like some residual memories of Bud
because I think just like Joe he took Bud's place in his reality and switche
d places now the scene
with Joe playing the piano I think this is pretty simple I think it was just her tapping into her
like muscle memory of the other Joe and knowing how to play the piano and that's why she got so
shocked when she was like I know how to play the piano I know how to read these music notes the
next thing I want to talk about are the cassette tapes that Joe received who sent those and we do
get a little bit of hint of who those people are that sent those cassettes to her an
d that would be
Wahlberg and Loren bang you could see their names at the end of the letter that was given to Joe and
they say at the end of the letter if you wish to hear the tapes more clearly come to us so we're
going to get and probably in the next episode or later down line Joe going to the Marine Denmark
Observatory and figuring out what all this is and I'm interested to see who these people are that
sent Joe these cassettes because they obviously know what is going on so are they also
like people
from different realities coming into this reality I'm really excited to hear so we got to talk about
Alice going into the cabinet I think hear me out here I think the cabinet and the necklace is
like a conduit for Alice to bounce back into to different realities or able to see or make it
able for her to see these different realities now now why is that I'm not really sure maybe it has
something to do with the necklace being in space with Joe at the time of the whole CAL device
going
malfunctioning and all that stuff maybe that's the reason but the big question that I have is what
reality and what timeline is the opening scene of this episode with Magnus and Alice go into the
cabinet is that in this current reality or is it in a reality where Alice is not there I find it
weird it's if it's the reality where Alice died because the way that Magnus is talking to his
daughter about Alice as if like Joe was was like a menace and like a crazy person I don't think
that
was the case in the other reality where Joe died maybe it is another reality maybe there
is three realities I don't know but what do you guys think about about this in the comments down
