PrimeTime Gala

Hello friends. Today in this video I am going to be telling the wild story of the 2013 mystery thriller The Green Inferno. A group of idealistic college students set head off to the Peruvian jungle. Their aim is to make an ecological statement by hindering the operations of a logging company, and streaming this live to YouTube. They succeed in this but on the way back their plane crashes. The survivors are then captured and imprisoned by a cannibalistic tribe that lives in those parts and they m
ust find their way out free before they become prime rib. Stick around to find out if any of the college students can make their way back to America because spoilers ahead, watch out and take care. To start off the story, we meet our main character we will be following throughout the story, Justine. Justine just started college as a freshman and she wakes up one morning to a crowd of students outside of her dorm participating in a hunger strike. Justine’s roommate despises them for waking her up
early, but Justine sympathizes with them and understands why they are doing what they are doing. Later that day, after Justine gets out of a lecture, a fellow student, Jonah comes up to her and gives her a flyer to join their group. Justine says she will think about it and Jonah tells her about a meeting that night if she decides to join. That night comes and Alejandro, the leader of the activist group, is talking to all of the members and trying to gauge their interest in saving an indigenous
tribe in the Peruvian Amazon that are about to bulldozed out of their home with nowhere to go. Companies want the natural gas buried underneath where the tribe currently lives and will do whatever it takes to get to it. Justine shows up to the meeting and she makes a comment about starving themselves that Alejandro didn’t appreciate and he tells her to leave. Justine finds Alejandro on campus a few days later and apologizes to her. He tells her that he doesn’t think she is ready for action like
they are, but Justine tells him to let her prove it. She attends a meeting that night where the group is planning on going to Peru and running a strike on the land so the bulldozers can’t do their jobs and the world sees it. A few days later, Justine informs her father who is an attorney for the United Nations what she is doing and then Justine heads to fly off to Peru with the others. They land in Peru where they meet the man that is funding the whole trip, Carlos, and he tells them everything
they will need to know and how the Peruvian government and policing works. They all sit down to have lunch together and Alejandro tells them they must all have their phones 100 percent charged because their only defense will be them live streaming and the Peruvian militia will most likely be present with guns. This freaks out some of them, but they still agree to go through with it. The following day, they start their mission and they rush to get on a few boats that they will travel on to get to
the land. They have to make a pit stop so Justine and Lars can go use the restroom in the forest and as Lars is peeing, a tarantula almost crawls up to him and bites in the you know what. He fires a few bullets and runs back on to the boats where the others laugh at him. They also see a black jaguar on the river so they better not get lost in this forest or they might be in for a bad time. The group arrives at the sand bar where they take all of their clothes and they put on neon green jumpsuit
s to make sure they blend in with the other construction workers. Carlos tells them to bring their passports in case they were to get arrested, but leave everything else where they are. They sneak up to where they see the construction workers getting ready to do their job and Alejandro tells them one more time they need to be all in or else they could get killed by the militia. When the construction workers are on lunch break, the activist group gets chains and locks them all up to trees that ha
ven’t been bulldozed yet. Once chained to the trees, they all put on white masks and then live stream to the world on their phone what they are doing. A bomb goes off near where the militia is standing and once it does, everyone in the activist group yells “this is the Yajes home, leave nature alone” as the tribe they are trying to protect is the Yajes tribe. The militia comes over and point guns at all of the activist group members and Alejandro tells the guy in charge that Justine is the leade
r of their group and they are following her orders. The head of the militia goes over and is about to shoot Justine dead, but then Alejandro yells out while live streaming that Justine’s father works for the United Nations. The leader of the militia then receives a message confirming this and he lowers his weapon. The group is then all released from the chains and they are handcuffed and taken back to their boats to head back home. Justine is very frustrated with Alejandro because he used her fo
r her father and knew that the militia wouldn’t do anything after learning of this news. They get on the plane to head back home and everyone else is cheering and celebrating for trending worldwide except Justine who wants no part of the group anymore. Justine tells this to Jonah and then out of nowhere, one of the engines in the plane blows and the plane starts descending rapidly. The plane rips in half and many passengers fly out and sadly die. The plane then crashes into a bunch of trees in t
he jungle and many lose their lives. The survivors all do their best to get off of the plane before anything else bad can happen. They don’t have any service on any of their phones, but one of the guys did bring a satellite GPS. They rush around to see if they can find it and make sure that it hasn’t melted from the fire. Out of nowhere, one of the girls is shot in the neck with an arrow which causes everyone else to take off running and as they are running away, they are all shot by tranquilliz
ers that knock them out. Justine then wakes up on a canoe and on the canoe with her, are two guys that are completely painted in black and red. She sees other canoes beside them and on the canoes are all of the other activist members and they have been captured by the Yajes tribe, the same tribe they came down to Peru to save, ironically. They all arrive at the tribe village and as they are being sent to their cage, they see human remains on poles everywhere around them. The leader of the Yajes
tribe comes out of her hut and analyzes all of the captured people. She then orders the village people to put them in their prisoner cage right outside of the village except for Jonah. The village leader then cuts out Jonah’s eyes and eats them in front of everyone. The tribe is a cannibalistic indigenous tribe. All of the tribe members take their time to season Jonah’s dismembered body and getting ready to roast him over a fire for everyone to eat. Justine asks the others if there is anything t
hey can do to fix this misunderstanding, but Alejandro says that is unlikely because they don’t speak any English whatsoever. Later that night, they think the only chance they have at being rescued is finding the GPS device. No one knows where they exactly are except for them and the tribe. Alejandro tells everyone that there should actually be people on the way. More bulldozers are going to come through and destroy their village and their strike really didn’t change anything like everyone thoug
ht. Just delayed it by a day or 2 and he admits to everyone that he mainly did this for PR stunt so their organization can go worldwide. Everyone else is pissed at him because they risked their lives and made no changes whatsoever and now are stuck in their death cage. Alejandro tells them if they can last 3 days, they will most likely be rescued. The following day, a little boy is standing right next to Justine and seems to be really interested in her. The enforcer, masked in black body paint,
comes to the cage and takes Justine and Kaycee out of the cage and over to see the tribal chief so she can decide which one they will cook next. As she is checking Justine out, she used a sharp claw and finds out if either of them are a virgin and unfortunately Justine is and they take her into a hut by herself. A little later that day, it is pouring down rain so the others are trying their best to figure a way out of the cage as the only eyes they have on them are a little boys. When the boy is
n’t looking, Samantha is able to squeeze out of the roof and she runs over to a canoe to hide inside before anyone can see her. Justine is then put back into the cage a little later and she is covered in some kind of tribal paint job. A few of the village kids then bring over some food for the prisoners to eat. They start eating it and then Amy sees a tattoo at the bottom of the bowl and she realizes they are eating Kaycee’s body. This disgusts Amy and she breaks the bowl and then cuts her throa
t resulting in her death. Lars has a small bag of weed in his pocket from earlier so they force the bag of weed down Amy’s throat in hopes of getting the village people high so they can escape. The enforcer comes in and pulls Amy’s body out and roasts it over the fire. The whole village goes to town on their latest meal and it actually ends up working and all of the village people get stoned out of their minds. Most of them pass out and then Justine climbs out first. Next to go is Lars, but Alej
andro isn’t going with them as he wants to wait for help and he stabs Lars so his body can’t go anywhere and the tribe people will eat Lars before Alejandro. Daniel leaves with Justine and they run off into the forest. The village people then capture Lars and then eat him all up as they have a bad case of the munchies. Daniel and Justine make their way to the plane crash site and they can see some of their friends that are dead and been eaten as well, but their main objective is to find the GPS
device. Justine finds it in one of the deceased’s jacket, but the village people show up again and shoot them with tranquillizers once again before they can send out a signal. Justine wakes up with her whole body tied up to a roasting platform and they are seasoning her body getting her ready to be cooked. The tribal chief comes up to her and right as she is about to cut into Justine’s body, a tribe member yells something and then they realize someone is coming to fight them so they grab all of
their weapons and head out to battle, but the kids stay back. The one kid that is fond of Justine cuts her loose and is going to help her get away before she dies. Alejandro sees that Justine is about to get away and he begs her to let him free, but Justine just leaves him because she doesn’t care for him one bit. The boy leads Justine out near the river and for a token of her appreciation; she leaves her diamond necklace with him to keep. Justine goes near a waterfall where the panther is, but
the panther doesn’t attack and she continues forward. A few minutes later, she comes across the battle happening between the tribe and the militia that have come to rescue Justine. The militia dispatches of the tribe pretty easily as they are using guns while the tribe only has spears. Justine then gets in the way of gunfire before they kill anymore tribe members as she feels bad for them. A helicopter then comes to take Justine back home and when they ask if there were any others, she says no.
Alejandro sees the helicopter flying away and screams for help, but they don’t stop. Alejandro will be the next meal. Good. A few days later, a boardroom asks Justine what happened and she actually lies and tells them that the tribe did nothing wrong and were only hostile when the bulldozers came. She truly believes in keeping the tribe on their land and this is why she doesn’t tell the truth of what happened. That is how this one ends! Thanks for watching.
