Hi guys!
Before we begin, what is bunny jumping? Bunny jump or bhop is a combination of keyboard
strokes and mouse movements used to move faster, avoid attacks and in some cases to make less
noise. The sad news is that it's not as effective
as it was in Source (CS:Source) and 1.6 (CS 1.6).
And the last thing I wanna/want to bring up: It's a lot harder to bhop on 64 tick servers
when you compare with 128 tick because it's less consistent and the jumps are less accurate.
The first rule of bunny ju
mping is that you need to bind the jump to something spammable
for when you land e.g. the mouse wheel. Some people like to scroll up to jump and
some like to scroll down. This is a personal preference.
To bind scroll up, type this, and for scroll down, type this.
You can now jump with scroll. Try jumping forward with scroll and as soon
as you land make sure to scroll so you instantly jump when landing.
Right after your first jump, stop pressing forward and let yourself bhop.
This is the very bas
ics of bhop. Now, type cl_showpos 1.
This will bring up some information in the corner and we're gonna focus on velocity.
The velocity is normally on 250 when running. To effectively bhop, your velocity has to
be between 250 and 300. You can go faster than 300, but your speed
will be decreased automatically. So how do we get between 250 and 300?
This is where you need to use the air acceleration to your advantage.
How do you do that? You do it through strafe movements in the
air. When moving lef
t in the air with your mouse,
you need to press the A key. When moving right in the air, you need to
press the D key. Otherwise, it looks like this.
Here's an example of how you strafe jump left in slowmo (slow motion).
Now, look again, but this time look at the velocity.
It's over 250. When you feel comfortable with strafe jumps,
it's time to start practicing bhops. This time we're gonna strafe out and back
in again, but why? In order to get speed when bhopping, you need
to move left and right
while following a single line.
The yellow line shows you which way you wanna/want to go and the red line shows you how you want
to move in the air to get more speed. So here's an example of me bhopping.
I'm trying my best to keep minimum air strafes to balance my speed and win extra velocity.
Remember to scroll up or down when landing. Make sure to practice on places where there's
higher or lower ground, because these little height differences will increase your speed
in most cases. In my opinio
n a good course for practicing
bhopping is to start from here and to bhop all the way to short.
You're allowed to take any route you want as long as you are using different heights
and still controlling your bhops and speed. So to summarize all this:
Think about your stafes in the air. Think about getting the velocity between 250
and 300 for best results. Remember to follow a single line for more
speed. And remember, also, that it's a lot harder
on 64 tick servers, so e.g. competitive matchmakin
g. Keep practicing your strafes and jumps.
And soon you will be able to bunny jump like a pro.
Thanks for watching! Have an awesome day guys!

I love this guy's voice, it's like listening to a lecturer teaching cs go
After watching this vide, I got 95% in physics. Thank you so much!!
Ah the memories, I remember watching this video 6 years ago while I was learning how to bhop, good old days
I can Bhop but I can't aim a rifle.
By far the best tutorial on Bhop, nice vid man! Liked it alot! <3
BananaGaming since i started playing csgo i watched your videos . This one i actually watched like 10 times. I practiced a lot, like 100 hours on total just practicing and practicing. I understood what you teached me, but i wasnt get enough speed so i was going to death match games and i would ask if any one knows what is bhop if they know how to do it and if they could teach me, but all of them said that bhop was taken off csgo, BUT i saw you doing so I practiced on my own. When i started i had an objective, to became sooo good at bhop that people would call me a bhop hacker. I reached my dream only because my effort and my good teacher. Thanks BananaGaming
but nigga I switch weapons with scroll
Awesome tutorial BananaGaming! This really helped me improve my bhop, and I am still practicing it on various maps. (Dust2, Mirage, etc.)
I love the simplicity of the banana theme on your channel, its so simple but so effective and awesome! xD I also love your voice man (no homo xD).
wow, you never notice how much they improved the gloves untill you watch something old.
omg best timing ever!! xD at the part where he shows how to strafe jump left in slowmo exactly at the moment he did ark finished updating and started playing the epic music loool!
at 1:23 he said velocity like tai lopez saying knowledge
Re-watching this video! If only I had bought a pop-filter back then! =I
This was the first video which explained bunnyhopping so i could understand how it really works! Thanks, u just earned a new sub!:D
So after bhopping since 2013 I noticed there's a way of doing around 3 consistent hops. After you jump, you must strafe slowly and in a certain radius, also, you can duck while in air and release it just before hitting the jump again, or just keep ducking the whole time :D
Great tutorial! I had struggled with this for months and no other video was.able to explained it this well. I can now B-Hop pretty well. Tnx!
i have been bhopping since 1.6 and i have never seen anyone explain it better then you dude!
Simple is an understatement. This tutorial is exceptionally great and goes into full detail.
i cant bhop ive tried for 3 hours
This is an incredibly easy tutorial for a complex concept, this helps me a lot in learning how to b hop. Not many tutorials were as helpful as this one.
