CueTimer 2.4: Undo, Redo & Autosave

CueTimer from PresentationToos helps performers and presenters manage their time during events and broadcasts. In the latest version 2.4, wee have made some changes to the timer-list that should improve the workflow for the CueTimer operator. CueTimer 2.4: Undo, Redo & Autosave If you accidentally push the fire-button while the timer is running, the redo-button will take you back as if nothing had happened. That is because we revert back to the original start/end-time that the timers are working from. New in v.2.4 is that timer-list now has a complete undo/redo of all operations: change a name, move some timers, and revert back with the Undo-button. We also have an improved autosave, always saving the list in case you need to restart your computer after the power-cable falls out. www.presentationtools.com/cuetimer

The timer-list now has a complete undo and redo of all operations. This means that we could change a little bit of how CueTimer works. If you remember the old version, we had this feature that when you start a new timer, then the old timer still runs and you have to push the Cue Next button twice. And the reason we had this was to kind of fake the undo and redo a little bit, so that you could know where you go back to. But this Undo it didn't cover anything else. So if you deleted something the
re was no way of going back. And now in the new version 2.4, we have really improved this Under and Redo feature. Let me show you. Let me show you. So let's start a couple of timers. You see that we no longer have this feature that we have old timers in the project. So every time you push stop or start: The old timer is gone. But the thing is that you can go back. Look now the at the undo. We go back not just once, but as many times as you like. So if you have a trigger-happy producer who pushes
the fire next button way too many times, you can go back. And not only that, if you make a mistake in the list, You push Undo. You go back, so here and now this name and this name and of course you have redo too For that you need to push Redo-button. So now we go back. This is like a regular undo and redo that you know from Word and all these programs. And we also have an improved autosave which means that if the program accidentally shuts off, for example if you lose the power cable or somethi
ng like that, Then you can easily go back. So now we're going to show you just by faking it. We just end the task here by brute force and we go back And the list is still here. The end time for the countdown is still the same. So the redundancy has been much improved in this new version of CueTimer. And in the future this under on redo will also allow us to do more advanced editing operations. So stay tuned for what we have in store.
