0:00 Intro
0:05 A new engine got installed and the customer paid for it.
0:25 Brake pads and brake rotors were too small. Always check the old ones you are taking off when replacing brake pads, rotors, and other parts. Could save you a lot of time and money.
0:37 The customer failed the inspection again and told the customer they need to be repaired properly. The customer decided to get the shop to install new brake rotors and pads.
0:52 The customer did not know they had a spare key in the center console as they said they thought they left a spare key in the safe at home.
1:01 An inline fuse should be installed for the power cable for the amp and as close to the battery as possible. The customer declined repairs for the sound system.
1:14 The rattling noise was caused by the upper control arms. The technician had to remove the medals pinched between the glove box to find the noise.
1:26 There was not a cabin air filter where the engine air filter should be, in case you are wondering.
1:34 Hubcap and center cap. The technician said was wondering why.
1:38 No extra info.
1:46 Ford Focus with dual-clutch automatic transmission. Had the typical transmission shudder. Since the vehicle was bogging down due to the "spinny thing" he could not accurately diagnose the issue using a scan tool.
2:02 Mass airflow (MAF) sensor was not installed. It measures the amount of air entering the engine.
2:10 The technician has no clue how this got here and said he definitely did not fake this as he is flat rate (paid by the job, not hourly).
Let us know what you think about how those got there.
2:19 The technician said he has no clue why somebody would put JB weld on an engine oil filter as they are fairly cheap, and if it leaked out all the oil while driving the customer would have most likely needed a new engine.
2:28 The shop welded the differential axle tubes and plugs.
2:40 The technician said this was on a Jeep but did not mention the model. Also apparently "another shop" did this. The technician told the customer to bring it back to that shop and never heard back from the customer after that.
2:47 The technician didn't mention or was informed of what happened.
Maybe the PTU (power transfer unit) broke and took out the driveshaft and cv axle in the process.
3:04 The vehicle came in for a recall.
3:21 Outro. Thanks for watching!
hey guys welcome to a newÂ
episode of just rolled in this vehicle was towed in as it won't startÂ
which the technician found the engine to be seized the customer mentioned to the shopÂ
that they never change the oil since new and the vehicle now has 78 000 miles on it theÂ
technician said this customer's vehicle also had a full maintenance package includedÂ
in the lease and the technician included this photo which you can still see theÂ
factory marking on the original oil filter customer States
their brakes don't feel rightÂ
after they installed new brakes the technician found that the customer had installed theÂ
wrong size of brake rotors and brake pads the shop installed the correct brakeÂ
pads and rotors which fix their issue a few days prior this customer failedÂ
a safety inspection as they needed new brakes the customer declined repairs andÂ
said they will do it themselves they are now back to get their vehicle reinspectedÂ
which the mechanic found that they never replaced the bra
kes and had mountedÂ
the brake calipers using wood screws and this customer came in as they said theirÂ
vehicle starts without a key the technician found that their customer had a spareÂ
key in the center console this whole time this customer brought in their vehicle asÂ
they said it keeps shutting off while driving the technician found this battery terminal to beÂ
loose and the power cable for the amp was arcing underneath the hood the customer also neverÂ
installed an inline fuse for the power
cable and this customer came in as they said theyÂ
can hear a rattling noise while driving the technician actually found the issue but had aÂ
good laugh as these medals made quite the noise customer States the vehicle they justÂ
bought has a weird smell when the AC is on the technician found this Engine airÂ
filter where their cabin air filter should be customer States passenger visor vanity mirrorÂ
light is not working the customer's vehicle is not equipped with a light for the mirror thisÂ
te
chnician took this customer's Ford Focus for a test drive as they had a transmissionÂ
concern while driving this customer's vehicle he noticed it was bogging down once he arrivedÂ
to the shop he found this in the air Inlet and according to wish.com it's a universal tornadoÂ
turbo single fan air intake fuel fan turbinator customer States check engine light is onÂ
the customer had just installed this warm air intake and left the mass airflowÂ
sensor laying on top of the engine This customer brough
t in their vehicle as theyÂ
have a rattling noise from the driver's door the technician removed the door panel and found all ofÂ
these sugar-coated almonds behind the door panel customer States they have a small oilÂ
leak the only oil leak the technician could find was from the oil filter whichÂ
had JB Weld on it to try and stop a leak this customer's truck was brought in asÂ
they said they hit a propane tank that was in a plastic bag on the road unfortunatelyÂ
for the customer it caused a diffe
rential axle tube to rotate as I broke offÂ
the plug welds on the differential and this customer brought their vehicle forÂ
a state safety inspection but failed that as it they had the frame to install a new oil pan the technician wasn't informed what happened from the customer but this vehicle was towedÂ
in like this the technician found the driveshaft PTU and the passenger sideÂ
front CV axle to be completely broken the technician who shared this clip said this is the most interesting thingÂ

Very informative, now I know I can go 77,999 miles and be fine
Everyone involved in the crafting, design and development of that 78k mile engine deserves an award.
The mounting of brake calipers with wood screws is absolutely insane. I can barely process how a human being would do something like that.
Hats off to the engineer that designed that 78000 mile engine. Most of whats out there could not tolerate half the abuse.
I knew a nurse who said "I'm never buying a lexus again." We said why? She said it suddenly died. Well that's weird. Did you do regular oil changes and maintenance checks? She said " you don't need oil changes! I've had it for 10 years. They don't do that anymore." My thought was should I be worried that a Nurse is dumb enough to believe you don't need an oil change or possibly she might not be smart enough to do her job. Oil always breaks down.
"...cut their frame to install a new oil pan." That's some other level.
Was a mechanic for almost 20 years- seen engines siezed due to lack of an oil change only twice. Once was a car just out of warranty with the factory oil, once was a street sweeper the opperator was only adding oil & not bringing it in for scheduled replacement. Both customers were super upset at us due to cost & down time of repairs - excepted zero responsibility for it.
I always wondered what it would look like or how far you could go without changing oil. Now I know, thank you for donating YOUR engine to the cause.
I'll bet the label maker had a label that said..."LABEL MAKER".
Imagine JB Welding your oil filter when you can just get a new oil filter for the same amount of money you paid for the JB Weld
That last one had me laughing. The early clips for the most part had me shaking my head. Wood screws? Just wow!
I like the "warm air intake" with the "Turbonator fan" LOL
the guy with the candied almonds in the door must be nuts!
It's even scarier to think these people vote.
Getting some mad MEGAS XLR vibes from that last clip đđđ
The ford hub cap just made me burst out laughing
That last clip, the person doesn't need a mechanic, they need a therapist!!
I love that you called it a "warm air intake".
3:05 somebody doesn't just have issues, they've got the entire subscription!
