@DylandPROS

Night city, never stop impress me :")

@lizdevilz7271

This MV, and Anime itself has proved Johnny Silverhand's line on how true that was. "Happier ending? For people like us? Wrong City, Wrong People."

@WeirdHieroglyphicSymbol

Fun fact for people that don't know: New Gig was added in Phantom Liberty where you help Sasha's (Girl in Video) sister save her husband.

4:01 I love this part where it shows that she's dead, but the droplet of the rain poured to her left eye, and it dripped down as if she was crying. The way of storytelling, symbolism, and deliverance is just chefs' kiss and yet tragic. She didn't get to cry, but the rain helped her portray what she was feeling at the hands of death... RIP Sasha.

@0grilo0

her smile in the end... it was worth it. probably the most genuine feeling she felt after losing her mother.

@m.guedes

"All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain."

@SuperDahalo

In 4 minutes they managed to introduce a completely new character, Sasha, tell her story, make us care about her and feel devastated by her tragic fate. Bravo.

@AngelusDarkshadows

Ladies, gentlemen: If there ever was a good storyboard with a compelling story told in under 5 minutes, this is it. This is a masterpiece in storytelling. In only short 4 minutes and 43 seconds, the story introduces a new character, makes you care about it, and makes you suffer with their fate. A Mastercraft right here.

It is amazing how in sync the animation is with the lyrics. "We're not planning to return" is sang just as Sasha apologizes to Maine for her actions. "Forgive me for letting you down" starts for the first time as Sasha flashes back to her mother's coma. This can be interpreted either as her own childhood guilt, or as the words that her mother could never speak. I'm just scratching the surface, so just know: this is a masterpiece.

@harryml7171

The ending left me with a deep void inside. Edgerunner truly embodies the essence of a tragic tale.

@randomdude8897

Man... I am a 30 year old man and there is something about this song in particular that it literally breaks me on an emotional level like no other song I have heard. Actually amazing the power of music.

@n2sry405

Telling a story in 4 minutes like this is rather rare

@Toporshik

Russian-born director in a Japanese animation studio makes a clip on a song with English lyrics, written by a Polish artist. It promotes a Japanese anime made in tandem with Polish game based on a setting of American author.

@PokeTyme

The fact that this song and the Phantom Liberty song are my faves, goes a LONG WAY in showing how skilled and talented is Dawid Podsiadło. Bravo to all involved!

@Ultrazucced

I am shocked at how no one realizing how much these lyrics perfectly fit David and his promises

@iamnuff1992

I love how this has the same theme you see a lot in Cyberpunk/Shadowrun-type media. The moment a gig becomes personal, it's over. People who do this kind of 'runner job for a living, they measure risk pretty well and they always ensure that they have a way out (otherwise they never would have lasted long enough to become professionals) but the moment something about the case personally involves you, you can't let it go anymore. You run out the clock, you let your escape-window close without you and you start taking crazy risks. It happened to Johnny, it happened to Sasha, it happened to V.

@thicthighsSV

Imagine having the worst day ar your work and this comes up in your Playlist on the bus

@kilojoules_kj

Imagine you just finished watching Edgerunners and came here to find the ED for the anime only to have your heart totally wrecked for the second time. I know because that happened to me too.

@MrHealingmonk

Cyberpunk has so much more to offer. I hope they continue expanding on it and push further projects back. Let them find a foundation/plan before jumping into it. I bet the planning phase had many ideas that were being circulated which could appear now.
