arrived here at home so the DB Killer from torbal on the exhaust muffler this one is to be installed short shots also from torbal PR Harley sper 883 as soon as it's packed do the unbox Here it starts I don't know if I'm on the right side I discovered this part here I bought it from the people at SP Custom, let's see here if you can see it then SP motorcycle customum I believe it must be a Torbal store that I bought from them and when I paid I made a direct PX in a Torbal account it comes well pa
ckaged very firmly [Music] here I took one so it comes here Oh yeah To fit the muffler that comes with the exhaust, right, to muffle the noise a little more I really like the noise of the bike as it is today without But it's a little loud, I wanted to muffle it a little to be a little more comfortable on longer trips, right, but as it is today, the Escape's sound is very good, I think it's very pretty, let's see how it goes with this one. From what I 've been researching, it will reduce the inte
nsity of the noise a little, right, it will still leave that characteristic of the engine, right, a typical engine from a Harley from a VN Harley, right, this one is more difficult [Music] because this plastic is from itself. torbal, right, original product So it's here now, I 'm going to put it in the exhaust, I'm going to show you what it's like DB Killer muffler PR short shots turbal in here, I didn't explain but there's a holey tube so you can see it , right? wrapped here with a fiberglass b
lanket, right? It comes with plastic around it, which we don't remove because it's to make it easier to fit into the original muffler, right into the bike's, if you take it out of here, you can even try and install it No, but if you take it off when you're going to put it on, it could be that the blanket comes out of place and doesn't stay in the right place , right? And so, right, you leave it on, so for the first few minutes after you install it, the ideal is to not inhale the smoke that will
come out as it is toxic because of the plastic. So when you install it, you have to do it in an environment and when you test it, right? then the installation It has to be outdoors, okay guys, don't do this indoors because you might have a problem, okay, so that's it, now show here the screws that you have to remove to remove the original muffler that comes with the Turbal short shots exhaust so Inside here you can see that there is the exhaust, there is a nut there on the original muffler, righ
t underneath there will also be there and these are the screws, this one is for the bottom pipe and up there is the one for the top exhaust pipe, just remove these two screws and pull the original factory muffler Just be careful that the nut doesn't fall in there if it gets lost it will be a problem let's see if it comes out easily or if I need it Oh it comes out easily with your hands look here, guys, really cool, right, take the other one out now here It's turning, I'm going to need another ke
y to turn it, just leave it here so it doesn't get lost and let's pull it, it's a little harder and it doesn't want to come out, it's stuck, guys, I'll try later, more calmly, that's it, guys, show me how What I did to remove the bottom one, it's there . I had removed a lot of it so it was easy but I had to use a little force, right, so for safety I locked the brake, I put it in first gear so the bike couldn't see backwards and it's loose here now let's install the DB Killer then guys I decided
to test it too Here, I heard the noise of the exhaust without any muffler, just the pipes without anything Come on, it's going to be very quick because I 'm in my condominium and I believe the noise is going to be very loud, come on, let's go [Music] test it, it really gets brutal, right? just a little bit just to give us an idea, so the installation is next, right, we're going to put the DB Killer in here, so first I have to remove this screw from here, this screw is the one that was on the bik
e, right, it has two washers, right? the top one is pressure and the bottom one is just a normal washer that comes in the db Killer So just in case, I'm going to install it with this other washer on the bike, so here we need to remove this screw from here, so another thing, right? DB Killer, it has a thread, right? So when installing, you no longer need the nut. It's pretty cool, right? Because any carelessness if the nut falls into the exhaust is a problem, right? Remember, you need the plastic
, otherwise it'll ruin the fiberglass. Just put it here and turn it a little and then you have to align the two holes. right, let it be well aligned, so I 'll align it with the screw itself, then I'll remove the two washers here so I don't lose it, do the same thing on the other one, then remove this screw, we'll take the original muffler and turn it a little bit like this to it fits in. Here it's a little more difficult to tighten it properly from here and we're doing it then we're putting it i
n. There are some people who are allergic to fiber so it's better to do this procedure using a glove, it's a little difficult here. in the same way as the other one Said guys, I managed to assemble this one here that I had the most difficulty with, it was the same one that I had difficulty getting off the bike that happened here, I don't know if the fiberglass with plastic on this one, on this one, on this one, Deb Killer, no. it was just as stuck as on the other one or or these tears here I don
't know if they are more pronounced than on this other one, it seems so but I don't know, it's kind of subjective Anyway, what happened when I was putting it on, you know, the plastic, it It got tangled up here and a lot of it accumulated here in the ones above, right, and it wasn't going all the way, so what did I do? I stuck it with my hand here, right ? the hole aligned and I took another wrench and did it like this and pulled it down. So if we look inside here, if you can see changing the ca
mera's position here, this one where I had more difficulty, if you notice there, until where was the glass part, right? There's a piece of the tip that was left out, let's see the other one here, it was calmer, you can see that the fiber blanket was practically until the end, it went up very little so ah, keep an eye on that, right? before assembling, make sure that the plastic is very firm, even if you don't have it, maybe put some very tight PVC plastic or even some Durex there, but I don't th
ink this will negatively affect the functioning of the db Killer. Okay, but it's a PR thing if pay attention Alright, now let's put it on the bike, guys, let's install it, so just remembering that I 'm not a mechanic, I'm just a curious cheetah, if I've made any mistakes here, mechanics, please let me know, so I'll install the bottom one first, which is the one that was the most It's difficult, right ? Lazinha didn't go all the way, unfortunately, but I believe everything will be fine, here the
hole is lined up, I'm just going to use a dwd here, a wd40 here quickly on the edges, slide it a little better and that's it, let's go then hole is down here , right ? from the center let's see here so far it's been good so far so far let me see here let's go let's go let's go now when are we going to find the holes here let's go there we go oh now the screw there took a little bit of work but it was cons aligning here the holes now just need to learn, it's well stuck I hope it doesn't come loos
e Let's move on to the next one which is easier than the other so this one the hole is more on the side here so I'm going to do the same same scheme right line it up right here with the hole I'm going to apply a little WD here, I hope this doesn't cause any harm later But come on, okay , so the hole is here, the hole is here , let's put it in, it looks like it's lined up Oops . That's it, just press it, that's it guys, it's been installed now let's test it, let's go start the test here so I'm go
ing to do the test first with the original short shots muffler, right, so let's turn on the bike here to show it to [Music] you [Music] eh So let's test it now with the Deb Killer [Applause] installed and That's it, the difference is clear, I don't know if you can tell in the audio of the video, but it has decreased, you can clearly see that the Rio's intensity has decreased, the timbre has changed a little, I confess that I like the timbre better as it was before, right with the Factory muffler
without the DB Killer but still maintained the characteristic sound of a Hiley And now you have to test it on the road, right, that's it, thanks, if you liked this video, leave a like [Music] said [Music] [ Music] [Applause] C n
