Deadpool 3 Trailer: Deadpool and Wolverine, Doctor Doom, X-Men Return & Secret Wars Easter Eggs

Welcome back everyone Maximum effort Marvel just dropped the Deadpool 3 trailer, and it is glorious. They finally revealed the title is Deadpool and Wolverine. There were a bunch

of questions about that. But there are so many Easter eggs and references to this, especially Deadpool himself breaking the fourth wall, saying how he is going to change the Marvel Cinematic universe. They specifically reference the Marvel Cinematic universe. So we'll break it all down. If you're brand new to the channel, be sure to subscribe to get all the episodes. er eggs in here besides revealing Hugh Jackman Wolverine in his yellow suit is when they're doing that, like in that scene where he's lying on the ground and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine is getting ready to walk up and pop his claws. zoom and enhanced in the background here. This magazine on the ground is actually a real life Marvel comic book, like it's an actual comic book. You could run out on the stores and buy right now in its secret wars. Number five, with Dr. Doom's face on the cover confirmi

ng that the movie is setting up Avengers Secret wars, and that Dr. Doom will be a part of that. And obviously the meta of it all, because it's a real life Marvel comic book. Marvel's actually done that before where they feature real life Marvel comic books inside Marvel movies. They did it during the first Captain America movie, like that comic book that all the kids are reading was an actual captain America comic book. I am sure there are going to be so many people talking about Doctor Doom aft

er this trailer, after they spot this Easter egg. So let me know if you actually spotted that the first time. I had to watch it a couple of times before I saw it. just starting at the beginning of the trailer footage. They start with a bit of a time jump after the end of Deadpool two But he's just living life normally. It doesn't seem like he's been acting as Deadpool as a superhero, like he's gotten a regular job. And I think that's meant to be a joke. On Kevin Feige recasting everyone. like la

ter. In the trailer you see him on what looks like the Void Planet from the Loki series with a 20th Century Fox logo behind him, as if it's been pruned like Kevin Feige, quote unquote. Marvel is pruning all the old classic X-Men actors because of recasting everyone. but at the beginning of the trailer, they're having a birthday celebration for him on the cake. The picture here is basically everybody from the end of Deadpool to even Yukio and Naga, Sonic Teenage Warhead, they've even got Shatter

Star. But I should say is everybody that was left alive at the end of Deadpool two because there are a bunch of members of X-Force that they killed off hilariously dope and are also part of the movie Blind Owl, as you would expect, as is Vanessa. the way he says it. The party he says it's been a challenging few years. That's been to be a joke about the Disney-Fox buyout. Like it's been a couple of years since the actual buyout happened. lot of a lot of Disney jokes during this. As you would expe

ct, it'll be weird if he did not clown on Disney during this, as he makes his wish. The TVA from the Loki series comes knocking at his door because of the events of the Deadpool two Post-Credits scene where he was messing with the multiverse. All the different timelines with cable's time travel device, most of these TVA characters, though, like most of the hunters, are brand new people they cast for the movie. There might be a couple of characters from the Loki series, like, for instance, Miss M

inutes is supposed to be part of this. he makes a callback to Deadpool one with the joke like it's brand new for Disney. That's supposed to be scary. If you don't know what that is, have fun looking that up on Google When he cracks the joke, though he does break the fourth wall looking at camera. they reveal that his hair is actually just the toupee that he's been wearing because the cancer is still a big problem. as they arrest him and pull him through the portal back to the TVA, notice that th

e Marvel Studios logo is red because of Deadpool, like a Deadpool themed version of the Marvel Studios intro. most of you will probably recognize this TVA agent. This interrogating him this is meant to be another brand new character that's on the level of Owen Wilson's Mobius, like basically the same function, just another one inside the TVA. But you might recognize him from the Succession series. Matthew McFayden also literally just won an Emmy Award for his performance on Succession. I believe

his name is meant to be paradox, which is very on brand for the TVA. They have time themed names. But for instance, Owen Wilson revealed that his character's Mobius name was given to him. It wasn't his original name, little quick joke there from Deadpool where he reveals that he did not pass out in soil himself. He soiled himself on purpose. he takes him on a walk around the TVA the same way that Mobius did with Loki when they first arrested him. It is basically telling him that he's become a v

ariant and he's trying to induct him into the TVA the same way they did with the Loki character. the funny thing about this shot, though, this is inside the TVA. This blue locker is just at his regular day job that he has in his show that he's hung up his costume, so to speak, sort of like Deadpool. No more like Spider-Man, No more. They did that in the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies. but the idea is that he doesn't feel like he needs to be a superhero anymore. He's not needed. So he has to get

a day job just to pass the time and earn money. in this whole mission, that paradox, the TVA is trying to give to him to become a TVA agent like Loki was, is sort of like giving him new purpose. Again, when they tell him this is his chance to be a hero again, you see him in the backdrop of this forest here is probably the planet that they first sent him to. my early theory right now. Just based on the rest of the footage, there's some kind of Nexus event that the TVA wants to take care of on th

is particular plan in. They get Deadpool to be the person to do that. this is probably where he finds that version of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine that we see later in the movie he tries to sell him on the pitch, a hero amongst heroes. As you see all these clips from all the previous Marvel movies, all of these references to the MCU, and then Deadpool starts making a bunch of Disney and MCU references, like literally calling out the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the whole joke here about him changing t

he Marvel Cinematic universe is that he's literally going to change it because he's going to be messing with time travel, causing Nexus events, all those kinds of things. but also in real life, he's kind of changing the vibe of Disney just in general. Marvel under Disney because he's so hardcore, like he's such an R-rated character, just going from left to right with all the clips here. Some of these are a little too blurry to actually see, but some are actually a little more obvious. starting a

t the left. This is from Avengers Age of Ultron. The second one in the middle is from Avengers Age of Ultron, with all the Avengers flying across camera together. Hopefully we'll get a version of that during the movie with a bunch of different Deadpool's On the right is from Thor Ragnarok. most of the smaller monitors below, it just seem like they're from different parts of the TVA with a bunch of text that are just way too small to actually zoom in, enhance to actually see. zoom and enhance on

this one, though. This one is actually pretty easy to spot. This is Deadpool accepting the Emmy award for the Wrexham series. They just posted the clip for a little while ago. Ryan Reynolds accepted it as Deadpool. it's sort of like they're implying that the TVA was watching Deadpool and this was actually happening inside the Marvel Universe. other thing that is like another crazy meta fourth wall break? Like, is this happening inside the MCU or is this happening in real life? Like, what's going

on here? I literally just there a video for this little teaser trailer a while ago. but if anybody thinks they can zoom in enhance enough to see the text on some of these tiny little monitors Just write what you think it says below in the comments as they zoom out, he gets really surprised. They change through all different clips of Captain America, Winter Soldier. All three monitors. not sure who this other hunter is on the far right here? Generally, this whole room is like a brand new room in

side the TVs that we haven't seen. But it's a massive, massive place. So no surprise that we'd be visiting a bunch of new places we've never seen before. Generally, it's meant to take place after the events of Loki Season two, though, but they also revealed that the TVA was still operating normally, even though Loki had become God. Loki in was managing a lot of the timelines from the center of all reality. Then we get a really wide shot of a convoy in a desert area. This might be part of the cli

ps that we saw earlier this year. this scene of the bold person is meant to be a reference to Professor X like they want you to think of Professor X, but it's really meant to be Cassandra Nova, his evil twin. she basically has all the same powers as Professor X. She's just as powerful like crazy powerful, but super, super evil. In the X-Men comics. it just looks like she's controlling this Mad Max Fury Road style band of X-Men in Fantastic Four characters not sure which planet this is meant to b

e on. It could be on the Void planet that could be completely separate planet. I think once we get to the 20th Century Fox logo, that's the void planet. But it's not totally clear if that's where this is. this looks like Deadpool's been captured. He's probably in that convoy as they come back to wherever Cassandra Nova is, wherever they're bases here, Notice. He literally calls out that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to change forever, metaphorically and literally. Deadpool saving the MC

U by kind of burning it to the ground. Not sure where he is inside this casino. But they really want you to think the person in the white jacket is Wolverine, which is a shot from the comics like Wolverine has worn that white jacket before the very, very identifiable haircut. Like, they really want you to think about Wolverine. There's so many shots of Hugh Jackman in Wolverine and in his yellow costume, but from behind, like each time is always from behind. love the way that he calls himself ou

t as Marvel Jesus like he's going to save the MCU, essentially, then he puts on a brand new version of his suit is slightly different from the last suit, just a little bit shinier, but it's still fairly comic book accurate. leather suit up montage. Somebody grabs his crotch here too, with white gloves on in the way that he stands up from the splits. Like the most spectacular theatrical entrance that you could possibly make as over-the-top as you would expect Deadpool to do. In the background on

the elevator. They're on level nine for three. I think that's meant to be a comic book Easter Egg. Nine for three is a reference to a Joe Costa storyline that might be a reference to her, or it could be references something completely different. Let me know if you think it's a reference to something else in the comments. not totally sure why he be killing these TVA agents though on this fourth planet for whatever reason, it seems like he goes rogue on the TVA. we get a couple of shots of Deadpoo

l fighting the TVA agents in front of the wreckage of the 20th Century Fox logo. We saw some behind the scenes for this, too. I think this is meant to be the void plane. So this might be just all the same plane, even the forest area to there's some kind of crazy saucer wreckage in the background. Not exactly sure what that is. that's one of the beauties of the Void planet is that they prune stuff from all over the place and it all winds up being Easter eggs for other Marvel movies in now because

we have the Fox Marvel characters coming back to X-Men, Fantastic Four, a bunch of Easter eggs from those movies to the action totally looks on point like it looks amazing. they start with the logo. Everyone deserves a happy ending. You probably know what that means if you don't know what that means. That's also something that you can Google enjoy. That is a good time. then they finally confirmed that this is on the void planet because this is a lion eating one of the TVA hunters here like this

black smoke cloud. I'm sure they'll make a couple last jokes at some point during this two we see some of the vehicles from previous Marvel movies, too, in the background, like these motorcycle goals are from the first Captain America movie. There are going to be some more Red Skull, Easter eggs, the cages, everything is generally meant to be this Mad Max vibe. but a lot of the vehicles are from older Marvel movies. this tank is also one of the Hydra tanks from the first Captain America movie t

o Deadpool reacting to a lion. not sure what's going on here. He gets into a fight with the other TVA agents, but it's in a minivan inside this forested area. I believe this communications truck might be from either the Incredible Hulk movie or from the original Fantastic Four movie. But this isn't like Doctor Doom or anything like that. I'm not sure who he is without his mask off, most of the characters are meant to be classic X-Men actors or classic Fantastic Four actors that have come back. n

otice the spine of the giant creature in the background to let me know what you think that is. even further in the background behind this, you can actually see the wreckage of the Golden Gate Bridge from the events of X-Men Last Stand explaining how some of those X-Men wound up here. maybe that means we got a version of Ian McKellen's Magneto in this two. zoom in enhance in the background too. It seems like there's one of the blades, like one of the fans from the giant shield Helicarrier to dead

pool taking out a bunch of Cassandra Nova's men inside this facility. Here you can kind of tell the difference because they're not wearing TVA gear. Then we see pyro from the classic X-Men movies. Pyro came back. Somebody was just asking the actor, Are you going to come back for this now? This pretty much confirms it. Not sure who's standing next to him here with their mask on, but also probably another classic X-Men actor when he yells wait and then ducks down behind the tree, that's meant to b

e a reference to the first Deadpool movie. He did the exact same move on a bunch of men during that this scene of him being knocked through the wreckage of this 20th century Fox logo, though it seems like his fight with Wolverine because that's basically the way it plays out, like he lays out there on the ground is like, please help me up Then you see Wolverine's shadow step in frame in his yellow suit. And he's like, Wait, no, no, no, no, no. I'm good. I'm good. It is. He pops his claws. totall

y love. The Wolverine reveal here. Obviously, we know what's going on Then they reveal the formal title is going to be Deadpool and Wolverine. There are a couple of funny references to this earlier this week where people found out that Marvel had trademarked a bunch of different titles like Deadpool and Friend. like? Would they actually name the movie Deadpool and Friend? Or is Ryan Reynolds just going to joke on the title as he releases new trailers throughout the rest of the year? merrily assu

mption is that no, like they'll just always call it Deadpool and Wolverine in in real life, you might hear Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman just joke about what the title is like. It should be Wolverine in Deadpool. No, no, no. It's Deadpool and Wolverine. they were clowning on each other earlier this year about that very same thing. but there's so many things going on during this trailer, and it's just meant to be the teaser trailer. So, like, they don't want to give too much away yet. But we do

know a lot about what's going on in the movie. It's meant to directly set up Avengers Secret Wars in sort of like the soft reboot of the MCU in part of that is just starting with Deadpool three. Like Deadpool and Wolverine is meant to be the beginning of the end of the multiverse saga of movies, Deadpool saving the MCU from itself by burning everything to the ground slowly. there's so many things going on during this trailer.
