to sleep last night watching arizona state fall at uh byu i wake up open my eyes this morning and there you are joe pizzapia and there is matt streicher again so we're gonna do it all here again today well look if you open your eyes you see matt striker that's nice for me it's something went terribly wrong i would think the night before but i will say this you say it's like a bad thing you get 12 more hours of football i think that's a beautiful thing not everybody's going to be on the field th
ough we do have some key guys missing today josh jake is going to be out one would assume kenyon drake would be more valuable in fantasy although we've heard a lot of peyton barber buzz and yes if you had peyton barber buzz on your bingo card for a week too well then you beat me because i certainly did not have that also matt streicher you got odell beckham out for this game and will fuller two guys people were hoping to get back here in week two but it doesn't seem to be the case so in your opi
nion with these wide receivers out where do you think you go and where do you think these teams are going to go with some of those targets that are now available so i think the big move the big buzz for this week is everyone looking to san francisco's backfield and trying to figure out if elijah mitchell's the guy or trey sermon or even michael hastie if that even is an option so that to me is where i think most players are looking to try to all kind of bottleneck for points but not everyone can
get there so there is a bigger question here yeah and figuring out who you pick up off the waiver wire of course uh earlier this week matt makes a great point elijah mitchell the number one pickup in all of fantasy i know that last week for me uh three fantasy leagues three wins i i mean i can we stop the season right now like i just want to be done i'm so excited i can't believe it but joe i think what happens is is i think listen everyone is still gonna be in and everyone is still gonna be wa
tching the games and we're doing shows like this but everything just like the first day of the major league baseball season or the first night of the nba everything gets so magnified for a number of different reasons for me the reason that i think that people don't talk about the most is that uh look let's be honest a lot of people watch and consume their football in different ways but joe for the last 20 years directv gives you everything for free in week one so everybody is watching every sing
le play everybody is tweeting about every single play now they pull it back a little bit you gotta pay and now you have to pick your spots here a little bit if you are not and for me that's the key difference is that don't look at week one as the key to the entire season use it as a tool to go forward and i think some things will normalize this week i absolutely agree and also week one tends to be more of an outlier than anything because some teams overlook their opponents the green bay packers
and then some other teams also don't quite have the the plan in place that they want week one out of the gate because they can't do it because of injuries or other things so it seems like the colts i think are still trying to figure themselves out because their offseason in terms of their practice time with their quarterback being out for most of the preseason hasn't been great you mentioned that most dirt injury and that probably was the biggest headline of the week and a lot of people did spen
d a lot of free agent money on eli mitchell and their funny thing that they're realizing is for all that money that they spent on free agency on it to put him on their fantasy roster they don't have a whole lot of confidence in starting them believe me i have got more questions about eli mitchell versus this guy versus that guy than anybody else and then trey sherman is going to be active this week so it would not shock me in the slightest craig if all of a sudden bernie you played well and all
of a sudden trey sermon had 15 carries for 105 yards and two scores because that's the identity of the 49ers which is why i was trying to practice a little bit of patience now if you had sermon on your roster it's made a lot more sense to add eli mitchell but matt this is the the problem too because last year you can go back you remember sammy watkins had that great week one last year you remember malcolm brown had some touchdowns in that first week one well it turns out malcolm brown wasn't the
running back you want in that rams offense either so week one from the waiver wire perspective can be equally tricky especially if you don't leave yourself with enough to get it done for the next oh i don't know 15 weeks or so yeah it's like you look you guys know how we do the three and out thing at the end of every show go back and see what we talked about last week it was that mayhem now everything goes crazy at week one now we're gonna do three and out here we're gonna kind of talk about th

ut i i was surprised to see that after just two weeks after just one loss would be one thing if it started off on two but that first pac-12 loss man i mean that that's just kind of the way that it works now maybe there's something about negative recruiting and you didn't want the organs and ucla kind of using that against you i don't know they knew that he wasn't going to be the guy long term it felt like they knew that for the last four years and they still have had him as their head coach so y
eah now we get to look at this long list of candidates to see who's going to replace him and i'm here for because there's going to be a new rumor every week for the next i don't know what like three months the cleveland browns held a 22 to 10 lead they looked phenomenal to start this game but the second half was all kansas city and they're 1-0 to start the season taking a look at the football game from the cleveland browns perspective and coming into the week handicapping this game you guys know
me i like the cleveland browns's football game i even thought they had a good chance of winning it thought i was a genius sitting here at the half but of course they got over their team total which is the most important thing from my vantage point and also secondarily kevin when you're betting team totals as opposed to sides how about the cleveland browns covering that number early in the fourth quarter and you're not worrying about if you can actually cover the full game line meaning from team
total to money line side or either money line or even a side in the football game you can't make mistakes against the chiefs you can't make mistakes against the chiefs at home you're fooling you know punts you can't get the kicks off 75-yard players where patrick mahomes is running out it just looks like he's running out of bounds weekdays 7 to 9 a.m eastern on the sports grid network sports professor ricardo inside the 1.3 trillion dollar business of sports with your daily numbers game the ryd
er cup you can bet on it that makes it even more significant than it has been before but here's the other issue the economic impact sheboygan and environs aren't a whole lot of rooms near whistling straits the blue harbor resort about 300 a night normally now on the website 42.50 big money if you can get it 300 to 400 for a ticket to the event and the average economic impact around the county about 30 million dollars a night it's going to be double that or more because after the pent-up demand a
nd a year delay everybody can charge a lot more people are complaining but they're certainly doing it so the economics are there for the ryder cup the television is there gaming as well an amazing weekend sports professor ricaro daily numbers game [Music] [Music] how do you enter a million dollar contest with jimmy garoppolo and debo samuel and not win money last week well that was me okay so i got to try and somehow figure this out this week i mean i don't know how i could have picked a better
lineup than i did last week it shows you how tough it is to play in dfs but before we get to the contest let's talk about some cash games and let's lean on joe here for a little bit with some of the pricing and then we'll get matt's opinion see who he's going with today we'll start off gentlemen with the quarterbacks and let's start off uh taking a look at the pricing on fanduel versus draftkings today in cash games we'll start off with kyler murray coming off the game that he had last week can
he repeat this week we shall see 8700 on fanduel 8200 on dk russell wilson of seattle 8500 on fanduel you're getting a big discount on draftkings at 7 500. same with tom brady today against atlanta 8 200 on fanduel 69 on draftkings josh allen in miami 8 100 against the dolphins and 7 200 on fanduel dak prescott is 8 100 today for the cowboys against the chargers 6 800 on fanduel and jalen hurts of the philadelphia eagles gets to test that san francisco 49ers defense joe that looked really good l
ast week in the first half and looked really bad in the second half so let's go through these in terms of cash games we got in today well first of all i can only assume he had raheem mostered in that lineup that didn't cash it also had garoppolo and debo in it because that just doesn't seem possible to me but we'll get to that a little later there's a really great group of quarterbacks at the top here to dissect kyle murray coming off a fantastic performance yesterday this week he is at home exc
use me last week this week he is at home against the minnesota vikings a defense that is struggled in the preseason and struggled a little bit out of the gate last week uh kyle murray controls all the his own scoring on that team that's what you want he's running in touchdowns he's throwing for touchdowns looks like rondell moore is going to be a thing this year that gives him another weapon already into this offense and that is a very positive thing russell wilson in this new offense that's uh
basically the rams offense and they wanted that offensive coordinator over there they brought him over and already you're seeing a big difference in some of the things that they're running offensively and it's giving russell wilson a lot more time in the pocket which historically has been kind of a problem for him so he's a good investment this week tom brady is a little bit more volatile it's a great matchup on paper you look at it but there's also that possibility in the game script where all
of a sudden you know they're up by a lot maybe the foot comes off the gas a little bit and they just kind of run the football more now the falcons could absolutely answer the bell after a terrible week one performance offensively and come back and make this more of a contest but there's volatility in the brady investment that i think is worth looking back on a little bit and just pumping the brakes then of course you go to dak prescott who for me that's where i want to go he is 700 cheaper than
kyla murray on vanduul 8k he's only 6 800 somehow on draftkings that's cheaper than brady it's cheaper than josh allen it's cheaper than wilson and murray it's a fantastic setup and yes it is on the road but it's against the chargers defense and i still don't think all that much of the chargers defense and then jalen hurst becomes interesting he's more of a value play because he has a certain floor because he does use his legs so much so even though the matchup is against the 49ers a good well-c
oached defensive team at the same time they did kind of give up a lot of garbage points in that second half and jalen hurts looked very comfortable and very confident in that offense that they were running first shot out of the gate i had some concerns but they were all answered in that first week performance for me it's dak from this cash game group and i think you could even play him in tournaments too because the upside potential total in that game is huge matt when you're looking at top of t
he board here at quarterback who stands out for you in particular well i think tying a string on to what you said before we went to break in the earlier segment about how week one is kind of this reaction and this hype and hysteria so here we are post so a lot of these numbers should normalize and we were talking off air and i think craig you mentioned that is arizona for real and things like this so we're gonna revisit this kind of feeling in five or six weeks for me i do like what you said abo
ut prescott because i think a lot of people hope that that's the case from a fantasy perspective a lot of people are hoping that prescott can come back they're hoping that zeke can be that guy they're hoping the receivers can do what they do it creates play action and opportunity for everybody because they've been underperforming and that's a problem uh i do like jalen hurts as well also you mentioned how scoring goes through a player that's something i often look at but the problem is he doesn'
t have as many weapons as some of the other players lastly craig tom brady that's the thing man if gronk is becoming this guy again who's running routes and getting open and he's just this reliable guy for tom brady brady gets you two or three and even if they do take the foot off the gas like joe said it's still going to be enough to i'm going to be happy with that yeah and look you got to be careful of some of these things too matt i mean who's to say atlanta does not win today i think we saw
atlanta's worst game of the season you know these things change so quickly in the nfl uh you know houston maybe we saw their best game the chargers still haven't blown a game yet this year that could happen today i mean it's probably gonna happen every week for the chargers we still haven't started enduring that yet so and also kyle murray really interesting because he is the one name that i personally don't think arizona is nearly as good as they showed but does it matter like he may just be th
at good in every game he plays in even if the team isn't good so interesting name for sure there all right let's go to some tournament plays here and speaking of the chargers they take on that weak dallas defense so justin herbert is priced at 7 600 on fanduel 6700 on draftkings stafford looked fantastic in week one he is 7 500 this week 6400 on dk tennessee is very interesting today to me because i really am unclear what they will look like this season 7 300 on fanduel 6 300 on draftkings ben r
oethlisberger is 7 200 on fanduel after their big win 6 300 uh excuse me 5 900 on dk burrow against the bear 71 versus 58 and matt i'll start with you uh trevor lawrence 6 900 on fanduel 6 000 on draftkings lawrence a lot of his fantasy points last week came in garbage time against houston they are pretty big underdogs by the way today against the denver broncos so throwing darts at a tournament play matt always the fun thing to do on a sunday morning where are your darts gonna land today fair e
nough but yeah it is a fun thing to do because there is still not that parody in the league but you have to rely on your quote unquote football knowledge you have to rely on trusting the people to whom you go for for information so with that said let's take what we know and let's take what quote unquote the experts are saying and then joe you'll either endorse or pull these nails out as far as as the top of the tier goes and you and you look at a guy like justin or a bear herbert as you will i t
hink that that is that the chargers are who everyone wants dallas to be and i also think there's some more weapons that we'll talk about when we get to some different positions with the chargers and i think that it's priced appropriately and it's exactly where it should be and you shouldn't overthink it it's a simple thing keep it simple stupid as far as joe baro goes i don't know about you i want to just see him be healthy and don't you know break and get hurt for a few weeks i want to see what
's there because i don't feel confident in knowing what the return on investment is with this player because i haven't seen it there's no sample size beyond that yeah craig you mentioned man matthew stafford this is an intriguing one and a lot of people are kind of waiting claws out ready to attack seeing what's happening because you still don't trust it but joe now i turn to you based off of some of these questions that i've posited to the to the air these notions how should someone navigate th
ose thoughts well i think you're right about ebay or justin herbert because on fanduel especially you could save yourself a 400 by pivoting off of that and i think you might get something close in terms of return on your investment the problem is on draftkings it's a hundred dollars more for dak prescott over herbert and i'm gonna take the dak every time over justin herbert not a knock on herbert just where i think dak is right now in terms of playing uh tan hill as fascinating as craig kind of
alluded to because i think people are down right now on the titans the offensive line did not play well but at the same time ryan tannehill has been a very solid fantasy quarterback the roster percentage is going to be low he's going into seattle if you're looking for an interesting tournament play it's got to be tanah he's got two very capable wide receivers got an all-world running pack so this could be a huge rebound now once again he's going to seattle a place typically has been hard to play
but less so i think in the last few years also as those guys from the legion of boom have moved on it's not quite the same defense it once was either so tannehill will be a fascinating bounce back and a low roster percentage with just as much upside as you saw probably last season so that's kind of where i'd look and also i would not forget about joe burrow either that secondary for the bears looked absolutely atrocious sunday night and of all the things we talked about week one so i'll talk ab
out one more time about the rams winning and me getting off the schneid craig mesh because now i don't have to deal with that abuse a new streak has to begin today in week two of something i can be wrong about so i'm just happy it's not the rams it is over the streak is done cal ripken has run around the field saluting all the fans joe hit the rams last week we it was a great streak that comes to uh nn all right coming up next we'll take a look at the running backs on fanduel versus draftking so

just a break down the offensive line mike frable's a really good football coach tara luwon is a really good offensive lineman who got blown up against chandler jones last week and those guys are going to rebound those are bad games if that's a game that happens week seven we all just go wow we didn't see that coming and we're not thinking twice but because it's week one we start to wonder about what the identity of the tennessee titans is and we shouldn't it's week one it's one game it was a ba
d game we move on from there now if it happens again this week then we can start having that conversation but you're 100 right where derek henry is right now in that 8k range on both sides is a huge give me and i don't care if he catches passes or doesn't the touchdown equity is huge and the pairing of him and nick chubb this week who i like probably even more i gotta say is is a great spend i mean in cash games you can get for both those guys about 16 000 you can get both of those guys like und
er 17 basically and that ability gives you such a high floor and a high ceiling it's hard not to imagine three touchdowns between the two of them if not potentially four or more i think chubb is in line for a great game i've got chubb in a ton of lineups this week because i feel like nick chubb once again as you mentioned the floor the game script and the ceiling all kind of converge at one time against this texans offense now kareem hunt's still gonna work and that is gonna be a thing but with
odell beckham out there's no reason really for them to push baker mayfield to make mistakes you keep it simple you let them go ahead there and cleveland proved that they belong in that top of the afc conversation the way they played last week and then you go to the top of the board by the way with christian mccaffrey and last week if you recall on this show we mentioned that christian mccaffrey week one is the best time to play christian mccaffrey why because he's healthy and there's a ton of mi
smatched value on the board with a bunch of rookies and players who won jobs who are really min salary that nobody saw coming now it gets slightly more difficult to do but the match-up is still very good the floor of christian mccaffrey is what you saw last week there's a ceiling that's even higher and my goodness the floor was very good so you can pay up for christian mccaffrey this week there's some other guys we'll talk about running back in the next group you can still go that route but for
me personally this week it's nick chubb it's derek henry those are the two guys that i think are the best return on investment matt when you're looking at cash games what are your thoughts on some of your best rois at the rv you know full disclosure folks out there joe often asked me matt how come you never come and hang out because he lives in jersey i live all the way out on long island the reason is i cannot walk into the same room and have a conversation with people because you said it and u
nless someone's going to want to come on here well no you're going to some people want to come out here and get contrarian or want to you know just but at the end of the day we're talking about keeping it simple and we're talking about the theme of the show seems to be how the league is going to shake out then yeah sure you know that mccaffrey is at the top and i don't think you're listening here or watching here and you need any of us to tell you that but that chub henry mix that is also what j
umps out to me so i'm completely in accord with what you're saying for all the reasons and again craig you started this whole entire diatribe off with when are you going to see these guys or at least henry at these numbers again and if you want to pivot off one to the other it's this is the play yeah look i mean tennessee can't play worse and and again i would expect a huge bounce but i don't think they're a good team but i would expect a huge bounce back for from them today every team that play

eight balls a game or none like i i have no idea so he's a little dicey for me seven thousand on fanduel 7300 on dk carson was effective last week for seattle 6700 on fanduel 61 on draftkings nadja harris of pittsburgh 6100 on fanduel 6300 on draftkings and then damian harris who had such a nice game last week joe uh but then fumbled at the end of the game and people are like oh are they going to play them are they not going to play them i don't know the answer it's belichick 6200 on fanduel 540
0 on draftkings so uh my concern there with harris is just that belichick you know pulls something out of a hat and somebody else plays i just don't ever fully trust him with the running back so there are some real chances i think to take here we just don't know how it's going to work out well i think that first chance with harris is a good one to take because i think you need to run the football with mac jones i think harris is that guy he looked great as you said but because he put the ball in
the ground because it's belichick that perfect storm is going to scare people off in terms of roster percentage so if harris has a day where he throws up 100 which is very possible he's one of the few guys who had a high yardage total in week one if you go back and look at the rushing stats and he puts up a touchdown instead of the fumble my goodness that is a big win here for that cost especially on dk at 5400 because he's not a big pass catching back necessarily that is a fantastic value it a
llows you to get up to the top of the board for guys like mccaffrey so to me i think harris is a fascinating entry today want a single entry play necessarily in your lineups but if you're playing multi-entry he's definitely some guy you would want exposure to in your lineup then you got naji harris who everybody's hyped up including me i love naji harris and it wasn't a good week one let's be honest but it was on the road against buffalo this is a whole different story they're at home in pittsbu
rgh they want to run the football that is clear he was on the field for a ton of snaps in that first game so that is a good indicator and they've got the las vegas raiders not a good defensive team this is a really good bounce-back scenario for naji harris and just like his other harris here damien and naji if you want to put both of them together for the bounce back that works too there's a really good floor for both of these players and touchdown equity that should be available chris carson's
the safe one for me chris carson at 6 761 is the guy that's right in the middle i had elliot chris from ftn on my show earlier this week to break this down he's in agreement too that right now with penny out and you've got chris carson looking good this newer offense that they've brought to seattle is really working right now at least in the early going in the preseason and week one i would say that chris carson is that perfect return on investment running back it's 6700 you know what you're get
ting all the things i just talked about with probably a safer floor even than some of the other guys i've just mentioned and then austin necklace you're right like who is that guy and david montgomery who everybody was kind of leaving for dead already and week one well what do you know it david montgomery goes out there and have a really good game again kind of picks up where he left off so montgomery and echo are fascinating too would you go ahead and pay for eckler at 7 300 matt because of wha
t he's done historically in the passing game even though last week was a little bit lower on that tier no i'm actually off and have been fading that it's just it's not a race that i want to run so there's other places where i want to put my uh my energies if you will i like what's being done here because if you look at it with the fanduel pricing you make a list and if you look at the top name and the bottom name it's almost like you take the top two pieces of bread off face them on each other p
ut them in the toaster so the outsides are crispy but the insides are soft it's a great trick but it works so david montgomery has that unimpeded workload and i think you were starting to talk about it to me this is a nice safe play i almost feel like everyone's been waiting for this thing to pop here and now the opportunity comes at a nice price go all the way down to that other piece of bread and go to damien harris yeah i understand the concerns that craig brought up is that's a fickle situat
ion over there but you got to put that aside i think harris can certainly slice up the jets and this is a great opportunity so i take a top-tier price player and a bottom tier type price player and i kind of put them together and that's how i feel comfortable playing in gpp i think we learned a little bit about what yeah uh matt i think we learned a little more about you than we expected today in terms of what you like for breakfast uh what what did you have already this morning because you've a

our show our youtube channel will take care of you on demand helping get your lineup set for dfs today i know i need some help today after uh not winning a cent last week but that's a story for another day let's get to some wide receivers here in terms of cash games and we'll start off with deandre hopkins coming off the monster week that he had for the cardinals last week he's 8 500 on fanduel 8000 on dk uh cowboys are back i feel like we haven't seen them in a bit but uh it has it's been like
10 days 7 800 for amari cooper 6800 on draftkings cd lam boy this seems low 6800 on fanduel 6400 on draftkings keenan allen in that same game against dallas 7 400 versus 7 000 dk metcalf we had to wait almost four quarters for a dk touchdown but we got it late 7 000 on fanduel 7600 there's a huge disparity there on draftkings deontay johnson got involved heavily in the steelers offense 66 versus 64. robert woods has won the circle curious about this one here joe because he he was really not at
all part of the rams game plan last week i don't know what was going on there 6500 fanduel 5700 on dk van jefferson got a lot of time and then cooper cup we saw quite a bit 6200 on fanduel six thousand on draftking so a lot of names too as that would say eat breakfast with this morning so uh who are you gonna have your bagel and cream cheese with here today yes it's definitely a a full table that's for sure well you can start at the top with deandre hopkins i think a very safe play you mentioned
about kyle murray looking incredibly sharp that combination of the two of them in terms of the targets that deandre hopkins sees every single week is always going to be strong you want to start with kylo murray's touchdown equity along with hopkins that's a fantastic way to start a very high floor potentially of points for a team again they are at home in that first game they run a lot of plays all that looks good it's a little bit more complicated when you come to dallas and the chargers this
week because yeah it could be cooper it could be cd lamb but on fanduel when there's like a thousand dollar difference between the two i'm gonna take lamb every single time and you have a little bit more clarity too because with michael gallop out that's one more piece you can take out of this puzzle i would anticipate ezekiel elliott getting more carries this week and the offense balancing a little bit compared to what it was on the opening game against a very tough tampa bay run defense but at
the same time city lam has showed you he's probably the alpha despite some of the drops that you had in that first contest so i would like to go with lamb in fact what i'd like to do is get lamb and then keenan allen on the other side of that game because that's pretty clear also that keenan now is still that guy the pairing of those two guys 7 400 on fanduel 14 allen just 6800 for cd lam that is really cost effective we're talking about a game that's got one of the higher totals on the board t
oday so that should yield some fantasy points at least in theory then you go down dk metcalf deonte johnson i think metcalf has a really good opportunity once again keep harping on it i like what seattle's doing and defensively last week tennessee did not cover anybody well they're not getting a ton of pass rush still that was their problem last year they signed dupreeh hoping that would fix it so far week one that really didn't fix it so we'll see if it gets better in week two but right now dk
is probably a strong play especially considering tyler lockett such a monstrous game people might be off of him a little bit deante johnson always a safe floor really good matchup with him against the las vegas raiders and then you come to the two guys in the rams here woods and cup and woods did have a quiet day i love van jefferson he's a very i think good young wide receiver but i would imagine uc woods kind of work himself back in i think the better value is still cooper cup 6 200 6k over on
dk cup and stafford really seem to have quite a rapport together just as friends from everything that you're reading on all the the the they have breakfast together kind of stuff and all that that's great i was talking about breakfast these are two guys having breakfast together and then going out there running plays so that rapport seems very strong and i think it's going to be leaned on heavily in this game here against the colts so that's kind of how this cash game group stacks up but matt h
ow do you see the cash game group here is there one player or two that you really have a certain lean towards yeah so i mean listen you just gave like a full stakes worth of information so now i'm gonna have some figs and dates to kind of aid in the digestion process if you know what i mean as we get older we need that so let me look at first and foremost cooper cup because i agree and i like where it's positioned as far as price goes on both platforms look at it there's only a 200 difference so
why not take that opportunity i understand some people would say that there's some around that could vulture from him but i just feel like you were mentioning how that relationship between you know stafford and cup it's gonna materialize what are they talking about do you think they're looking at tick tock while they eat no they're they're looking at it and figuring out before every practice what are we going to do how are we going to make this better what does this team tend to do so i like th
at play on the other side i like to keenan allen play i alluded to it earlier and i think a lot of people have slept on keenan allen because there was a moment where people realize this is an elite receiver and when you look at the price point it's just a bit higher than cup you move up uh 1200 i think on on fanduel and and that's just that next tier and that's that bottom level of that next tier and last but not least you did mention cd lam boyle boy if you're gonna put something down on lamb y
ou hope that zeke gets going because the play action has to work a lot of things come off of that if zeke is neutralized or he's not a threat craig i think that affects everyone around him i mean you're gonna be looking dalton schultz for a while if that's the case yeah and look lamb you know dropped some passes last week too in in game one but there's no question talent wise uh you know he he's going to get a ton of targets with gallup not in there for sure he and amari cooper no doubt okay now
at a wide receiver in terms of some tournament plays we saw antonio brown a big factor in last week's bucks game he is at 6 400 this afternoon against the falcons on fanduel and 6 000 over on draftkings julio jones a very quiet first game 6300 on fanduel also the same on dk boy t higgins this is i i mean as low as it gets for this guy he's i think he's a star six thousand on fanduel 5400 on draftkings chase claypool 5900 on fanduel 56 on dk speaking of the bengals jamar chase with the big touch
down last week to begin his career 5 500 and 5 000 jalen waddle essentially no competition with fuller being out indefinitely and look at that price on dk only 4 500 for waddle today tim patrick kj hamler who knows i don't know is denver going to be who they were this past week are they going to be who they were last year i got no clue not sold at all on them to start the season that's for sure 5400 500 on uh on cam on kj handler joe i don't know i don't have a good feel for for denver at this p
oint because i think the giants in the end i mean are they going to go oh and 17 probably not i doubt that but would it shock me to see them have the worst record in the league and here we are you know everybody just championing denver after beating the giants in week one last week i don't know that that's the wisest move but look you know judy's out someone else you would assume you would assume would step up i'm just not positive there well here's the thing they are playing the jacksonville ja
guars who did not look very good who lost to the houston texans so uh maybe better by association at the very least maybe we could say that about the denver broncos but this is more about site-to-site play right now which is fascinating because if you look these guys are right neck and neck on fanduel so you can interchange them if you want to get a piece of exposure to this game and that's fair but on the draftking side especially in full pbr 4 600 for tim patrick 3 800 for kj hamler you're get
ting a huge discount there i would go towards hamlet especially because he is more of that possession wide receiver guy and he's a very hard working kid he didn't see a lot of them last year because he was dealing with injuries he's a very bright guy very good dude too hard working everybody loves him on the team so hamlet to me at 3 800 is a fascinating investment because it allows you to go up to the top of the board and get those two running backs we talked about earlier you can get a chub an
d you can ha and you can also get uh derek henry or somebody like that if you like and have 3 800 in your flexbot for kj hamler that's the kind of play that allows you to do that or go get a christian mccaffrey when it comes to the cincinnati wide receivers look t higgins looks absolutely spectacular there's no doubt about that that's not surprising at all the surprise was jamar chase what's fascinating here is that t higgins actually is 5400 jamar chase 5 000 so you're getting only t higgins fo
ur for four hundred dollars more on dk that's a pretty good investment in my universe uh and same thing 500 more over on fanduel so it makes sense you mentioned jalen waddle uh maybe devonte parker has another good game but waddle clearly is that guy that has the floor the talent the upside the yards after catch the separation all that stuff you're looking for and i think he's gonna continue to grow that was week one man i can only imagine what we were up for potentially in week eight or nine of
the season because he looks so good in week one and then it comes to the bucks right matt you've got evans you got godwin you got antonio brown i still think antonio brown is the best investment because he's got that boomer that boom upside but i think he does what tom brady likes the most at this stage in his career in terms of the routes he runs in terms of the kind of style wide receiver he is evans is a little touchdown dependent you're probably going to be playing this carousel all year ar
e you going to be on this carousel with any bucks wide receivers this week matt uh well it would depend on matchups honestly but you mentioned brown look here's the thing he's not there for for lack of grammar for no reason he's there for a reason so if you want to pay that particular price pool and you want to get into it that's fine for this week though to me i would pull back or maybe look towards someone else now here's the thing we were talking about everyone wanting to get in on this hole
that's going on in denver this denver bubble and that's where all the air is getting in and you look at patrick and hammer i think hamlet has a bit of the drop seas and that to me just gives me some concern but if you're going to be dipping down there you have to really try to find value you do want to get the best t-shirt even if both of them have holes in it you want to get the one that you could wear the most one is a hole at the end you tuck it in the other one has a hole up here you don't g
et that one um regardless of that looking at also jalen waddle here's the thing i feel that that buffalo's defense can be stingy and if the secondary is tight and it forces the pocket to collapse we're going to see some pressurized plays here that could result in turnovers so that to me would be a stay away or something at least to think about but that's how i approach it when you look at it from this kind of point of view have a really really hard time throwing away t-shirts like there's just s
ome that are still too many sentimental to me that you know it's honestly better that my wife just gets rid of him without me knowing because i probably wouldn't even realize it's gone like that's it's the only shot i have better you than the two guys yeah my wife's like [Laughter] no no but then if i go back and it's not there i probably didn't notice so it's the one thing that i think that would be acceptable for me okay uh at tight end if you're not playing darren waller this week you're obvi
ously doing it wrong i mean come on this guy got 19 targets last week so what he only gets 16 this week 7 000 on fanduel 7600 on dk i'm going to make a lineup during the next break and put him in rob gronkowski 5800 on fanduel 4700 on dk higbee had a pretty big snap count last week 5600 on fanduel 4100 on dk and uh dalton schultz 4 800 on fanduel 3 300 on dk joe uh i mean look i mean how do you not play waller after last week i i mean i don't care who whoever he's going against i mean 19 targets
is insane no it's hard not to play him but you mentioned not just the snap count for higbee but how about the routes run that's even more important it's one thing to be on the field it's nothing to be running routes as a tight end tyler higgy was top three last week in doing that that is huge and that's how you justify not paying for waller because you're getting a guy who potentially has similar output right if darren waller doesn't catch a touchdown but he has a whole lot of yardage but you'r
e paying 7 000 as opposed to 5600 on fanduel for tyler higby that's a big savings you can spread around to the rest of your lineup especially at running backs there on the half ppr so that's how you justify it gronk has huge touchdown equity in this game as well from what we saw this coming week also with a little bit extra rest with the older player earlier in the season that's still a very good investment and then dalton schultz you kind of touched on it there matty and he's on the list today
you know if you look at the high total games and you look for the tight end who's cheap sometimes that does pay off and schultz should be at least thought about especially at 3 300 free square on dk yeah it's interesting to me why waller is in this particular conversation with the other three guys i think the tiers are huge because if you look at the price points it's a totally different spend so let's concentrate you know two different conversations in one you guys are a thousand percent correc

s grid network the early line this line probably would have jumped up higher but now you see like hey maybe the vegas raiders have a good football team here and also take a look at the pittsburgh cedars who did pull a rabbit out of a hat for me with the win up at buffalo didn't do very much on offense to impress me so if you're looking at this football game overall over under this one also 47 and a half's here now 49 and a half because hey the raiders look like they have an offense and maybe the
steelers can play at home and go against a much easier opponent defensively here like the raiders would have been than going on the road in windy conditions up at orchard park versus the buffalo bills but you are correct here open up at six moving to six and a half now back down to five and a half because this team actually won a football game on monday night those numbers are kind of interesting but i think it's about right here if you look at the pittsburgh steelers anything under seven is pr

this past week two wide receivers on two teams combined for over fifty percent of their team's targets in week one amari cooper and city lamb keenan allen and mike williams they are going to be playing each other dallas vs la in week two so what this tells you is this is pretty clear that all four of these wide receivers should be involved it's not really in terms of like we're gonna spread the ball around no no no these two guys on each of the teams are clearly there number one and number two w
ide receivers and yes it could turn out to be a weird game where ekler and zeke get all the touchdowns and it turns out to be that but in terms of the potential the potential is there the investibility is there matt i think that's what you're looking for when it comes to daily fantasy and on the same tip too if you are looking in potentially your regular season long leagues at some players like let's say mike williams who might be on the fringe this is an encouraging stat because you have a feel
ing that there's a chance of a shootout there's a chance that mike williams who always offers really good touchdown upside as a wide receiver is a wide receiver you can play in standard in half and in full ppr formats because not only is he getting target share but he's also got that touchdown upside and that's what you're looking for and yes of course it could all go wrong just ask aaron rodgers like last week what happened certain things that look really good on paper don't always translate bu
